Mojo in the morning. Mojo, Shannon, Mike, Megan, Lydia, KP. KP, I want to ask you, how was your weekend, by the way, KP?

00:01:58 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 3:

It was good.

00:02:00 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 6:

What did you do this weekend? By the way, we had an impromptu show call last night, obviously, to prepare for today. And KP was making dumplings.

00:02:10 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 1:

I was.

00:02:11 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 6:

I was like, wow.

00:02:12 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 1:

I about burned my house down.

00:02:14 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 6:

If she already wouldn't be a catch for somebody like, you know, I don't know, like my son. If she wouldn't be a catch in how beautiful she is, she makes dumplings for a Sunday night meal for herself.

00:02:28 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 3:

I did not make those dumplings. Those were straight out of the freezer, and they were burnt to a crisp. And Megan, you were laughing when all the steam was coming up during the video. I had to turn off my camera. Can I be honest?

00:02:41 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 1:

Before you turned off your camera, I saw the steam. I didn't know if it was steam or smoke, and I was like, just look for flickering light. Look and see if there's a fire. Just see if there's a fire.

00:02:49 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, y'all know what happened to me if I disappear.

00:02:52 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 6:

You had me fooled then. I thought that you were making homemade dumplings. I was actually like, oh, my God, good Polish girl over there making homemade dumplings that Grandma might have taught you or something.

00:03:02 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 3:

No, Trader Joe's, you're my ride or die. But no, I had a very chill weekend compared to what I had during my birthday weekend. I had a huge group, 12 people go out and go to a huge country concert.

00:03:16 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 6:

That was a week ago, right?

00:03:17 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. So I needed some time to unwind. But I wanted to talk about something that happened last weekend that I feel like was kind of awkward, but I needed to do it. I invited my really good friends, and then a couple of them had boyfriends that I had gotten to know. And I had to let one of my friends go from the group chat, remove him, because I found out that he had been cheating on her. And I had to uninvite him to my birthday party.

00:03:51 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

Wait a second. Hold on a second. So he was dating, this guy was, he was dating your friend. And then you, how'd you find out that he was cheating?

00:04:00 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, she told me. Okay. And I just felt like, you know what? I have to, I'm not going to, well, I am going to take a side. I will take my friend's side first and foremost. Yeah. But it's just like an awkward situation because like when you have couple friends and then you invite them together and then weird things happen or if there's a disagreement like it's it felt kind of awkward for me to to take him out and like even Lydia saw in the group chat she's like who is this number that you took out of your birthday party to everybody else yeah you can see it yeah everyone's like oh I don't know what that's about so when did you do it when did

00:04:37 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

you actually remove him from the group chat oh right when we found out so in what day was that

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 3:

It was like a couple days before the concert.

00:04:43 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. So this is over a week ago. Okay, so he's no longer in the group chat. And did he, well, did he send you-

00:04:50 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 1:

Did he get a warning that he was getting kicked out?

00:04:52 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 6:

No. I feel like- Did he send you a personal text to you asking why he was taken out?

00:04:56 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

No, he didn't. I think that it was like message delivered.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, by taking them out of the garage.

00:05:01 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:05:02 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

I always hate that. I always hate the, well, first off, I'm going to say this. Are people still in your birthday group chat a week later texting in that?

00:05:09 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

So, yes. Not now. I despise that. But a couple days ago. I hate it. Yes.

00:05:13 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

I hate it. There's so, okay, here's the thing. And I think that the problem is this. If you have a group text, okay, a group chat text, and if it's for a specific thing, you cannot text back two days after the event like a day after the event it's okay to say how great everything was you know two days after the event you're done but the problem is this you need to have an official goodbye from somebody all right guys well this was fun

00:05:43 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 4:

see you in the next time boom and then you end up group chats are specifically themed for something nine times out of ten there's always that you just put everybody in a group chat because you're All in doing something They're usually like birthday parties Or camping trips You don't need to put pictures of your baby In those things We don't need to see that It's themed around something

00:06:03 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 1:

Keep it around that and then leave it alone The themed group chat is about the theme of Her big birthday concert party That she had If you post in there what you ate for dinner On Wednesday night Five days after the event Guess what? You have committed a group chat foul

00:06:20 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 3:

I just got a message in my group chat saying, KP talking about this group chat on the air right now. Everybody go listen. Who was it that sent that?

00:06:28 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 1:

Who sent that?

00:06:29 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 3:

It wasn't the guy I removed. I'll tell you that.

00:06:31 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm calling you out. You cannot do that. You can't. If you want to let everybody know, you have to individually text each one of those people and tell them KP is talking about our group chat right now. What was your group chat title? Did you have a title for it? Co-Pretzel.

00:06:46 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

Everyone was making fun of his name because his name is Co-Wetzel. And everyone, my non-country friends were like, are they going to have pretzels at Co-Pretzel Wetzel when they changed the name? Like, guys.

00:06:57 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. I'm telling you. So I have like a million group chats, just like you guys all do. I'm sure our listeners do, too. And there's some that just really bother me. And one of them is when somebody will start a new group chat, like we have a family group chat. Somebody in my family started a brand new one to add one person to it instead of just adding them on the major group chat.

00:07:24 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

Because then you don't have to remove them. When things go south, you could just go back to the original group chat.

00:07:30 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:

That's terrible.

00:07:31 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Us non-confrontational girlies know how it is.

00:07:35 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

But here's my problem with that. My problem is I don't know which group chat to send people to. They added one person. But I do also say this. If you are going to add somebody to a group chat, it needs to be taken up in a vote. There needs to be a vote. Can I add so-and-so to this group chat?

00:07:52 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 5:

If they're part of your family, aren't they?

00:07:54 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, in this particular one, so I have my brothers and sisters in a group chat, and it's just the siblings. So there's six total of us. So I'm one of the six in this. They tried to add a cousin that we just recently reconnected with, and I said to them, I'm sorry. And they aren't blood-related mom and dad's blood. We could do one of those 30 and me or what is it? 23 and me. 23 and me. We can do a 23 and me to see exactly maybe they were my father's child or something like that.

00:08:29 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 5:

Here's where the group chats get super confusing to me is like I have several group chats with similar friends in them. But like you said, maybe one or two people removed. If we're, like, arranging a birthday gift for somebody, obviously you have to remove that one person, but then that person's in other ones. So have you guys ever done it where you type in somebody's name because you're getting ready to text them, and then it brings up the group chat that you didn't want? You have to be super, super careful, right?

00:08:56 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, where did KP's friend go? KP's friend was, oh, call him back. I want to find out. One of the offenders of KP's group chat just called us up.

00:09:06 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 2:

She called us Scott.

00:09:06 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 1:

just just call this up and i wanted to do it i um shannon i don't delete any text messages because there are times where you need need them for evidence proof and i will keep you know pretty much all of my group my text messages yes yes i you know i i've been i've been subpoenaed before for mine so um and what i do is evidence proof i know okay listen go ahead it's been a tough day

00:09:35 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

I understand.

00:09:36 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, we can't make fun of you today. I should leave. Okay.

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't, seriously.

00:09:40 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

What else do I do around here?

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

There's only one person that can make fun of me, and you guys are not allowed to. So, real quick, this is the thing. With my text, it does make it very hard to figure out which one to do, but I take the time. I go through them. I look, and I go, oh, okay. Nope, nope. There's two people on that one.

00:10:00 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 11:

shouldn't be in this one and then i go down the line people need to take more time i agree okay i'm just throwing it out there now let's talk to betsy this is betsy kp's friend that's part of the cold pretzel group chat what's going on betsy good morning how are you guys good betsy baby hi kp the the the kp uh cold pretzel uh birthday group chat is over

00:10:25 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 10:

yeah it is over we messaged it a few days after because um there were some funny comments on the mojo birthday post for kp and we were just laughing about that okay that was fine because

00:10:38 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 11:

at least it promotes the show yeah and gets maybe a couple of uh engagements on our social media which is good for kp's job but but let me say this to you now you cannot send any more text messages on there but will you do us a favor betsy you need to do what i was saying you need to go on there and do an official goodbye to everybody. St. Mojo said it's time to end this thing.

00:10:59 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 10:

Okay. For the spirit of the show,

00:11:01 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 11:

I will. Thank you. We appreciate that. How long have you known this person?

00:11:06 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 10:

I've known for over five years now. Okay.

00:11:11 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 11:

Where'd you guys meet? Yeah. We met in a laundry room.

00:11:13 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 10:

He's my big in my sorority. Yeah, we met in a laundry room.

00:11:17 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 11:

Oh, that's so nice. You guys have a laundry room group chat that you guys talk about? No, because it would be just the two of us. Oh, okay. There's only one... I've seen videos that start like that.

00:11:27 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 5:

Stop it, Mike.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 11:

What's up, Katie? How you doing?

00:11:32 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 9:

I'm good. How are you?

00:11:33 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 11:

Good. What did you want to say about this?

00:11:35 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 9:

I texted in and said that we didn't let my sister's boyfriend in the group chat, and he wanted to be in it, but we said you had to be married. When they got engaged, we finally voted and said, yeah.

00:11:46 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 11:

It's a big deal for a lot of people, you know?

00:11:49 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 8:

When you get added Can you see what was sent before? No Because I would be worried about Like the people that we've talked about That we've added We use WhatsApp

00:12:01 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 9:

So I don't know Maybe

00:12:02 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 11:

Maybe on WhatsApp you do But I know on iPhone It doesn't On Messenger and stuff It doesn't And then it's a whole different thing Which we've talked about Before you can listen to the podcast Of anybody that doesn't have A iPhone They have an Android They screw up Every group chat He's dribbling the ball

00:12:17 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 7:

With everything on the line He's driving down the pitch He's facing price hikes and cuts past him. Carrier Contracts tries to block him. Oh, he leaves him in the dust. He's at the edge of the box. He cuts past the nonstop group chat trash talk. He clears on goal. He shoots. No! Unlimited data for $25 a month forever.

00:13:26 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 4:
