All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Got kind of a busy weekend. Actually, Chels and I are going up to East Lansing this weekend. It's Parents Weekend for Luke up at Michigan State, which I'm hoping that this parents weekend is a little bit different than last parents weekend

that we had because last parents weekend the parents didn't see the kid he partied a little

too much and he was a little under the weather so he uh so so we literally we literally we went to the game for a little bit then we went to a fraternity house and then that was I think it it was like all right we'll see you later we actually we did hang out at a couple bars he took us to a couple bars but i'm planning on going strong this weekend i went to bed last night feeling to myself we're going out we're going you know we're gonna we're gonna make harpers by the way yeah like literally closed down from wait from all the alcohol is this the weekend that you did the keg stand this is not no that was okay that was welcome week that was i do that

on welcome weeks so this weekend we need you and chelsea to do a keg stand i'd love for chelsea

Oh, that would be incredible.

I think maybe moms need to do it. Maybe that's the thing. Maybe the mom needs to come out and do that thing. I promised her that I wouldn't embarrass her. I'd embarrass my son. But she was proud of you. I also promised that I would be less Mojo and more Tom this weekend. Who does that mean? Well, I sometimes turn into where I feel like I'm at a remote or something, where I just run into people and I'm like, hey, what's happening? And the next thing I know, I leave my family. Gotcha. You know what I mean? Like, I end up with somebody else's family. Like, at Parents Weekend, I hang out with other kids, you know?

I will say I've never been more proud of my dad than the time I did see him do a kickstand. I was like, this is what family is for.

Yeah. I think I made Luke proud with that.

It's legendary to see a parent do that because you're like, you're reliving your youth. I love this.

It is. It's like you're adults together. I think it is, if I'm not mistaken, Halloween party night tonight, too, for his fraternity. I think that they have the Halloween party.

Are the parents dressing up?

If he wants, I'll bring my Pope costume. I can actually do it. I don't know if he would want that to happen. I'm kind of hoping that we're invited to the party. I don't necessarily think we are, because I think we're going to dinner beforehand. I remember when I was a kid that parents weekend was always about taking them to restaurants that they could normally not eat at. So, you know, going somewhere nice, and then you let them go party.

on the same weekend I don't know I think that was a bad move I didn't go to college

for real for real and obviously I don't have keys

how do I get ask Juice's number and should I get it this weekend because Luke never Luke never answers my phone and I would like to get his other his roommates to give me their numbers so I can call one of his roommates and see what what's going on because he doesn't answer my phone anymore. He's smart. He's kind of like stopped taking my calls.

Do they have programming for y'all when y'all go up there or it's just kind of like a free-for-all?

So there's a big tailgate tomorrow, and then there's the game. So Michigan State is taking on Indiana, the Hoosiers.

which by the way they're a pretty good team and they're actually not bad and then i think that we'll go to the game for a little bit and then i think that we'll see how long that goes uh and then we'll uh go out tonight tomorrow night and then that's it then i'm done and then i'm calling

it quits then i'm no longer the parent anymore my favorite is when you post pictures or chels too when you guys post pictures from stuff like this and there's like a bed sheet hanging on the side at the fraternity house and somebody spray-painted Parents Weekend in 2024.

When I saw Chelsea's photo with you. So fancy. Yes! And I just saw the pink spray-paint and I was like, I know that boy went, pink is for mom. This is fancy.

They're much more decorative, aren't they? They do a... The boys do it completely different than the sorority girls. The sorority girls decorate

so much more than

the fraternity guys decorate. I'm calling Keen. Do you remember Keen? Oh, shout out to young Keen. That's the only other number I have. I don't know if he'll answer this early on.

After Halloween, too. But it's parents' weekend. You've got to prepare. Keen's parents, I think, have to come in from, like, Boston or something.

That's right. He's getting his sleep to prepare.

So here's, can I tell you something about the dairy store? I've looked for the dairy store 18,000 times cause I've gone on like ways and Google maps and is it, is it tucked away in like some buildings? Did you understand what the dairy store is? You guys? No. They say they have, they have like the freshest, nicest, or the most tastiest ice cream.

I think it is. Yes, it's the best. It's the most expensive, too, but it's great. But it's in Anthony Hall.

Okay. All right. I'm right across from the bird. You're going to see me and my friend Dennis, whose son Max is there. He's also a sophomore. And we're going to be at the dairy store eating ice cream. While other dads are doing fireball shots, we'll be eating ice cream.
