Three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:02:32 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 7:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:33 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:35 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:02:37 - 00:03:24 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go. It's showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:24 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 7:

I got you. You turned me on. I got you. Welcome back, Kev. How are you? I'm feeling great, baby. Good to be home. Hey, welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Thanksgiving week. We had our potluck yesterday. You missed out on what honestly might have been, and I don't know if they stepped up the game on this one because you called them out on the air last week. But that potluck yesterday, no joke, it was good. It was the best we've ever had. Yeah. It was actually really good. Look at that. So I don't know. Maybe we need to do this more often. Maybe we need to call out sales. Which we call them out for today. Let's call them out for something right now.

00:04:08 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 6:

Can anybody see if I have any leftover cookies? You do. There's two over there. Hell yeah.

00:04:12 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 7:

Look at you.

00:04:12 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 6:

It's a cookies for breakfast kind of morning.

00:04:15 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

By the way, it was yesterday one of the biggest hits at the ball was Megan's Cookies. And then the other one was Lester's Banana Pudding that he does.

00:04:26 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 5:

It's a tradition.

00:04:27 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 7:

Les does this banana pudding that is just to die for. And Tony Travato must have had like 28 helpings of it, too. I don't know where that guy puts it. He eats more sweets. That guy's got to be like close to diabetic. I don't know what the story is.

00:04:42 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 6:

Say it right. Say it right.

00:04:43 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 7:

He's got the diabetes.

00:04:45 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 6:

Sugars.

00:04:46 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 7:

The diabetes.

00:04:47 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 6:

There we go.

00:04:49 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I hate him. I know. I hate him just to hate him. Yesterday, I learned, this is how you get things done around here. You preface everything with, I got a.

00:05:00 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 2:

huge list. This is going to be really tough. I don't know if you can handle all this stuff. And then I give him the list and it was really not that bad. And he was like, that's not really that bad. And he handled everything by like 11 o'clock. I couldn't believe how fast it was. That's a sales technique. That is. Just like you did with the potluck that we had here. Brendan was not going to get shown up by you. He was not going to have anybody get food poisoning, food-borne illness. There was no listeria

00:05:25 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

at all in this place. If you buy all the food then that lowers the chance of poisoning.

00:05:29 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

That is true. Yes. Don't cook it in your homes.

00:05:33 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Unless you're food safe certified.

00:05:34 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 2:

Unless you're, yes. I just want you to know. Only Red Robin does that.

00:05:36 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

I just want you to know.

00:05:37 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 5:

I just want you to know. You'll never get anything I make ever, no matter how much you want it. I'd rather shove it on the ground.

00:05:45 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 1:

What will I do without your cookies?

00:05:48 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Go back to being sick. Oh, no.

00:05:53 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:05:55 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

You are, by the way, an instigator. I realize this. Me? You absolutely are.

00:06:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm never leaving that alone.

00:06:01 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 2:

Us girls got all along yesterday, and then you had to come in here. There is no drama. Daddy's home. No, I'm missing it. I actually am happy. I had to be on my best behavior. I was getting quadruple teamed by everybody here. All right. We have our turkey shoot today. Get ready for that. That's going to be fun. Our Mojo in the Morning turkey shoot. It's an annual event where we fire off the turkey and give you something to put on your table. And Mojo in the Morning Misfit Victor is going to be our turkey this morning. I believe that he may be driving on 96 on his way into the city. I don't know for sure. I hope so. But I talked to him yesterday, and I was very excited that he was going to be able to do this. And thank you to Victor again for allowing us this opportunity. And guess who's shooting? Just came up out of the blue. Shannon, Megan, and KP are going to be the shots. They're going to shoot for the listeners, kind of like we do with the throwback throwdown. They'll play for you guys. And you can be one of the three people that has a chance to win a $1,000 StubHub gift card courtesy of Zot Ford and Holly and all of our friends over at Papa Romano's Pizza, which will be a great order for you guys tomorrow night before Thanksgiving, on the eve of Thanksgiving. Uh, we will, uh, be doing that at seven o'clock ish. Okay. Yeah. And loan, I think, is it lone wolf paintball? Are, are good buddies from there? Or who's, who's the people that do this, uh, this paintballing? They, uh, in years past have always brought lots of ammo and I think we're going to have more ammo too. So it's going to be good.

00:07:43 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 6:

I practiced last night.

00:07:44 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

You feeling confident?

00:07:45 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 6:

With, with Smith's Nerf guns.

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:07:48 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 6:

Yep. Just practice like shooting a target. So I, I could at least get my aim going. I'm not that good, but today I'm going to be good. I feel it.

00:07:56 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Today's the day. You say you practiced with Nerf guns, though. I did, yes.

00:08:01 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 6:

Just to be shooting something. That's all I got.

00:08:03 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 2:

You've got to be good with Nerf guns because you can't have any arc or anything like that because Nerf guns don't have like...

00:08:07 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 6:

Oh, not the ones now. They're like automatic.

00:08:10 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

Come on. Can they hurt you? Can they give you a concussion or something? No, not... I mean, no. Oh. That would be kind of fun to play in the house.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 6:

They're not from like 1990 anymore.

00:08:19 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:08:20 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 6:

They've upgraded.

00:08:21 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

Remember when Nerf guns became like, Nerf guns, and I don't know if it's still like this for Christmas, but they were the best gift ever. And then for some reason, every kid would go to school January 3rd for the first day back with like a patch over his eye. And then they realized moms realized that was not a great idea.

00:08:42 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Scott Mick was not allowed to buy gifts for the grandkids anymore because he brought so many Nerf guns to so many Thanksgivings and Christmases that it became a problem. I like it.

00:08:51 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

I love that. Look, all I can think about when you say the three of you are going to be shooting is, I think it was earlier this year or last year, KP, when you went hunting with your brother. Right. And she's all in camo. Did you bring the camo?

00:09:04 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Nothing is going to help me be better than Megan today. Oh, wow. Shannon's got camo. I actually was considering wearing some camo pants, but I didn't want to overdo it, you know. Okay. Sometimes when you overdo it, when you get overdressed, not hinting at Shannon or anything, you end up not hitting anything.

00:09:20 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 4:

And for me, I did this not even thinking about it. That's funny. That actually is very funny. I want Victor to see me coming. I want him to be coming.

00:09:28 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

I am so excited for Megan to finally get to let out all of this Victor angst. It's going to be fantastic. I didn't start it. Just like with Kev. I didn't start it. I'll finish it.

00:09:40 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 2:

I think now we're starting to realize that Megan's got some guys that for some reason have issues.

00:09:45 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

Listen, Megan is the hit you and then hide my hand and start crying when you hit her back person.

00:09:52 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 5:

You just admitted to instigating all of this five minutes ago.

00:09:55 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

She's the sister that goes, Mom, Dad. Look, Megan can do this shit, but she's a little shit.

00:10:00 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 2:

a little sweetheart i'll go home i really don't care do we have any hunters that are listening right now i know deer hunting's been going on and uh i know my my buddy tom tom uh tom the trainer uh has uh was telling me that he went up north and he said that the bucks are bigger than ever right now he says he doesn't understand what's going on these things you know what it is i think they're eating people's food at their homes like they're eating people food now so they're growing bigger than ever and he said the points were like ridiculous so and and they're plentiful there's a lot of uh there was a lot of deer that were out there so um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 kp your brother is in studio with us this morning is this the brother that you went hunting with

00:10:43 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 1:

no this is aiden he's in high school aaron is in uh in college and he's so that was aaron yeah

00:10:49 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

aiden have you ever uh had a chance to go hunting at all like is it a family tradition like with

00:10:53 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:

the guys no i've never gone hunting but i want to i'm gonna get a hunting license you have to

00:10:58 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

because you live in lake orion yeah if you live in lake orion and don't have uh don't have camo a pickup truck and uh i don't know maybe deer antlers in your house then you're gonna get kicked out of there they they move you they they move you a few blocks away to auburn hills or something yeah so this is kind of the thing like you have to fit to fit in like i couldn't live in lake orion it's a beautiful community i've looked at it often like hey this would be a cool place, especially on Lake Oregon, it's a gorgeous lake, they would kick a guy like out like me. They'd look at me and they would see my Peter Millar and they would say, excuse me, the golf course is down the street, you know what I mean? Like it wouldn't work. So are you off from school already? The schools get out for the holidays? No, I'm actually skipping today. Yeah. All right. I like this. And I understand you're doing community service. So if your teachers are listening right now, your community service hours are hanging out here and helping break an entering Christmas wedge.

00:11:50 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that.

00:11:51 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 2:

That is cool.

00:11:52 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 1:

We borrowed his muscle today. We needed him to carry all these gifts for Lydia.

00:11:56 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way, mojoswish.org, if you have a wish that you would like to get granted, mojoswish.org. We would love to try to grant your wish, and we're reading through wishes. I think that Lydia and myself, Shannon, Kev, who else has been a part of this whole thing? I think a bunch of us. Megan. Megan, yeah. My wife, Chelsea. you know everybody's been doing it reading these letters and just uh picking out uh wishes that we will start granting and next week is when you'll start hearing them on the uh on the radio no hunters that are up this early in the morning i anybody listen to us while they're in a deer blind because i want to get some advice if we could before we go anywhere for uh shannon and and megan and kp and uh on what's good i i do like the idea of hunting like i do think it'd be kind of fun when i hear these guys that go up there and they eat nothing but a bunch of bad food and they have some drinks and they kind of sit out in the air but then i go the temperature control like you know you really don't have temperature control most of the food's got gluten you know what i mean and i only have one carhartt sweatshirt and it was the one that they gave us last year when they gave us that free bundle of clothes like why do why is it that they don't uh they don't make hunting uh gear that uh that's by grayson that's quarter zip you know like why is there no quarter zip uh you know camo or something like that i don't know i'm i'm uh i'm a little crazy uh text her here uh oh we got hunter steve hunter steve 248 says uh shannon nerf guns are gonna actually throw you off because of the weight of the nerf gun compared to the weight of probably what the gun that we're going to use. I mean, I'm joking. She was doing it for, oh, that was a total joke. Okay. I understand. Yeah. 616, yes, Nerf guns do hurt. My kids were sent to the hospital three times with a Nerf gun accident. Mojo in the morning, hello. Do we have a hunter on the phone with us? We do. Who is this? James. James the hunter. And are you currently in a deer blind? I am not. I'm currently on my way to work. Okay, tell us, what kind of advice can you give the beautiful women of the Mojo in the Morning Show on attacking this turkey this morning? Go for the face. Go for the face! Is that where you got to get them? Because you got to get them between the eyes? You normally want to shoot for the body, but it's Miss Fit Victor, so why not?

00:14:33 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 1:

I think that is our one rule, is no face. Really? We've said that in the past.

00:14:38 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, but I don't think we did last year for Victor. I think Victor got it nailed in the head. Oh, he definitely did. Joe the Hunter is on with us now. What's up, Joe? How you doing? Doing good. How you guys doing? Fantastic, Joe. We're hanging out this morning, getting ready in less than 40 minutes for our Mojo in the Morning annual turkey shoot for Lions tickets. What's going on? What kind of advice can you give?
