All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. um Megan uh with um the next topic here and I forgot what the hell it was oh so did I so I was waiting for you to introduce it no you went to the dentist you almost puked on the uh oh my god

00:02:34 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 8:

yesterday oh my god yes uh I was at the dentist they you ever go and they put like a a piece of cotton in your mouth to keep your lip out of the way so they did that and I um I've been going to the same dentist for a very long time I have the same dental hygienist for years and years and years I forgot it was in my mouth I went to close my mouth I felt this cotton hit a portion of my tongue that I was not anticipating and I immediately gagged right her hands in my mouth her hands are in my mouth and I went and she was like are you okay and we both started dying laughing and I said I forgot about the cotton it really freaked me out it really really did she goes oh you know what we get bit we get puked on it wouldn't be the first time and i went you could not pay me money to work a job where potentially while your hands are in somebody's mouth they could puke on you and i never thought about dental hygienists getting puked on before but it freaked me out oh yeah i bet you that that's

00:03:37 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 6:

got to be a tough job huh dental hygienists i bet you the worst than getting puked on by these guys bit how many of these dental hygienists do you think have had somebody bite their fingers i mean

00:03:48 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 7:

Just what about the bad breath?

00:03:50 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

00:03:51 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 7:

Last time I was at the dentist, I asked more about it. It just popped into my head for some reason. Maybe because his breath was stinking. That could have been.

00:03:57 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

Wait, you're at a bad, you can't go to a dentist with bad breath.

00:03:59 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 7:

It wasn't Dr. Reynolds or somebody else. It was another dude.

00:04:02 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 6:

But you cannot, a dentist cannot have bad breath.

00:04:04 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 7:

Because they're standing over you. You know what I mean? Yes. That's all in your face.

00:04:08 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 6:

If you're a dentist and you have bad breath, you have just, it's like, for instance, you can't, I will not go to a fat doctor. I will not go to a hairstylist That is bald I'm sorry They gotta have hair I wanna know what they do with their hair

00:04:25 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 7:

You gotta be fat if you get the cookout

00:04:28 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 6:

I'll just be honest I'll go to a fat chef Chefs need to be fat You can't be a skinny chef

00:04:34 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 7:

No it's not good I just wouldn't pick him as my first draft pick I picked Guy Fieri He got a little meat on him You gotta have it

00:04:43 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 8:

That is wild.

00:04:47 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 6:

I want a chef with fat body, fat fingers, because I know he's cutting like a maniac.

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

Is Guy Geary even a chef, or was he a television host? I don't know. I don't even think he's a chef. Or Imran.

00:05:00 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 1:

And how do you get Fieri out of that spelling of that name? It should be Fieri, isn't it, or something?

00:05:03 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 6:

I think it is, actually. There's no T's in his name. Fieri.

00:05:06 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's two R's and they're like Ferrari. Is it?

00:05:09 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 6:

Isn't there just one R? I don't think Americans pronounce Ferrari right, though.

00:05:12 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's get back to the whole thing about puking. Puking. What kind of occupation is it where you can get puked on like that? Could you imagine being a kindergarten teacher? Do you know how brutal that must be? I look at these kindergarten or daycare.

00:05:28 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 4:

Just an elementary school teacher in general. I mean, my child had the projectile vomiting two weeks ago, and I felt so bad.

00:05:37 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

I went to lunch the other day, and I was eating at the deli that's by my house. And I always feel like that deli always has an old person with a nurse or something taking them out to eat. There's always this really old person coming in, and there's a really nice caretaker type person that's taking care of them. that's going to lunch with them and i'm looking at this poor lady that is taking care of this old guy and i'm thinking this guy is definitely crapping on this woman you know what i mean those are angels those are special you are and especially when you see that they like them you know what i mean like they treat them like their family and stuff like that yeah bro hall

00:06:18 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 5:

takers i gotta wipe up doo-doo yeah that's terrible but i think i know a worse job what Who in this room has had a colonoscopy before?

00:06:26 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 6:

Not me. I have not.

00:06:27 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 5:

They won't let you leave until you fart. And they put somebody in the room until you fart. So there is a hospital worker that has to sit in a room until people fart.

00:06:36 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 4:

I had to go stand in the emergency room. That can't be a fun job. And the guy, the nurse that did it was so cute. Prostate exam, like I was talking about earlier. Oh, God. Yeah, no.

00:06:48 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you want to know the greatest phone call or the greatest lunch I had like a week or so ago? I had it with one of the clients, had it with Mike over at Gordon Chevrolet. And we were discussing our summer car giveaway that we're doing at Gordon Chevrolet like we always do. And he's like, I think we're going to do the giveaway again in the actual dealership. Because I thought it went way better than doing it outside and having you guys be out in weather that could be bad or whatever the deal is. And he said, except for when the poop happened. Do you remember that? Oh, my God.

00:07:20 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I forgot about that.

00:07:22 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 4:

What happened? His diaper came off or it went out all sides of his diaper? It was a kid, wasn't it? I think it was an explosion. I think it was an explosion, too. Yeah. I do remember that.

00:07:31 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 1:

But the funniest was Angel lost her smell during COVID. She can't smell anything. And so Angel thought it was like somebody spilled chocolate.

00:07:40 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I don't remember that. Yeah.

00:07:43 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

Like cleaning it up off the ground. What's up, Candy? How are you? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Candy. Candy. Candy. Goodbye, Candy. Hi, Lauren. How are you? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:08:02 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:08:04 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Not much. So I work on patients all day long, and I can count on five, on my one hand, of really, really really bad smelling smelling bad breath smelling patients and we have to like add another mask and glove up well and have like gum and everything what kind of work do you guys do

00:08:24 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

there is it a dentist's office or is it a just a doctor's office yeah yeah i clean teeth too wait so you're cleaning is it possible for you to even get rid of that smell or are their teeth so

00:08:34 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 3:

bad that you can't do it it's possible but i have to take like extra precautions to get rid of it

00:08:41 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 1:

really and have you ever been puked on uh by a patient has a patient ever gotten gag reflex oh

00:08:47 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

yes and it's usually when you're doing x-rays or like like megan said cotton or and you have to literally run and grab the trash can underneath the sink and set the patient up really fast and there's like a whole thing and i've been puked on i i don't mind going to the

00:09:04 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 4:

dentist i actually like going to the dentist except for when they tell me it's time to get x-rays i cannot handle those things they hit the back of your mouth oh and i have to have special ones because i have torii like the worst you've ever seen and it's so bad i hate that i hate do

00:09:19 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 1:

you clean up the puke with that little suction thing that you put in our mouth

00:09:22 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

karina what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hi good morning how are you guys good what's going So, yeah, I am a biter, unfortunately, for my dentist I'm actually going to go see today. So I hope they're prepared for that. And when I get my blood drawn, I'm also a biter because I absolutely hate needles. At the dentist, when they go to put that cotton in my mouth, I always bite down on their finger. And I bite down super hard and I feel bad because she's like, can you let my finger go?

00:10:00 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 7:

And it always happens.

00:10:01 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:10:02 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 7:

I would kick you out of my practice. No, literally, the crazy part is I have tattoos. I've sat through 12-hour tattoo sessions, no problem. But I can't get my blood draw or get my teeth cleaned without biting because I'm terrified. I hate it.

00:10:17 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 10:

Wow. Man, that's the worst, too, when you bite down at the time and you're on the rubber glove that's in your mouth. What's going on, Leah?

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 9:

Hi, good morning, guys.

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 10:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:10:28 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 9:

All right. So I work for a retinal specialist, the back of the eye, and we have to inject a dye sometimes to do some testing, to take some pictures. I had a 16-year-old boy. I got the needle in. He passed out, and when he passed out, he peed all over me. Oh, my God. Poor kid. Oh, no. That's a first for me.

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 10:

Oh, my God. That's horrible. By the way.

00:10:58 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

00:10:58 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 10:

You just made Shannon have to take her headphones off. She could not listen to this thing.

00:11:03 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 9:

I can't do eye stuff. I'm sorry. No eye stuff for Shannon. I have to do five of those today, so hopefully no pee. I heard me on an eye, and I was done.

00:11:13 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 10:

Do you guys have a hard time with the poof test that they do?

00:11:16 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 8:

I hate the poof test. Yes. What is that?

00:11:18 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 10:

They're checking glaucoma.

00:11:19 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 8:

No, no, no. I know, but why is that so uncomfortable?

00:11:22 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 10:

I think it's the old idea that it's going to happen. You're waiting for it to happen.

00:11:25 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 8:

Because, like, if I'm riding on an ATV or a roller coaster, I don't go, wow, this wind on my eyes is very uncomfortable. But that poof test.

00:11:32 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 10:

Oh, I forget you. What's up, Shay?

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:11:38 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 10:

We're good. What's going on?

00:11:40 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So this is for Megan and the whole fart thing and the colonoscopy. I get them yearly because I'm a cancer patient or a mission and I'm anemic, blah, blah, blah. Anyways, yeah, never had that happen. And so they either wanted to smoke her part or they wanted to smoke her part. No. Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:11:57 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, they don't usually have somebody sit in there. They make you wait there. They want you to wait there until you get all the gas and stuff out of you. Right? Don't they?

00:12:04 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 8:

I was under 18. Maybe that was part of it because I was in the pediatric unit. But if you don't pass gas, they think that something's even more wrong. Yeah, they never ask me. Like, maybe they just don't care if I explode. I don't know. I've had multiple colonoscopies and endoscopies, and they've never let me leave without hearing me fart.

00:12:26 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 10:

Those poor people, though, like that would be like the worst job ever. And honestly, I don't even want to be awake at them. I'm like, just put me to sleep right now because I do not want your first reaction of seeing my butthole. What's up, Tish?

00:12:40 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. I have a gross, funny poop story.

00:12:45 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 10:

Oh, great. By the way, probably the topics that we chose for today are kind of a little disgusting. Between this and spitty balls, maybe a little too close together, but go ahead. What's going on?

00:12:56 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 6:

So I work in a daycare, and one time one of the kids had a blowout where the poop goes up the back and down the bottom, and this child went down a slide outside, and we didn't notice.

00:13:12 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 10:

So every kid?

00:13:13 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 6:

So, every kid that went down the slide after got covered into the stairs. Oh, my gosh. That's horrible. Yeah.

00:13:22 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 8:

That's bad.

00:13:24 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 6:

That was gross. Cooties.

00:13:26 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 10:

I'm telling you, I think the daycare workers have a way worse job than anybody in a medical field. Because you're dealing with all that. That's horrible.

00:13:34 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:
