All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Chelsea and I had like the weirdest thing happen to us. And let me ask you guys this question. Have you ever been on a date? You're on like a date with somebody you met on Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, wherever you're dating. And you're there at the restaurant and you notice that somebody at the restaurant is somebody you know. We were out with our friend and I won't say his name because I don't want to embarrass him because I don't think his daughter knew this. and while we're sitting there he literally says to chelsea and i as we're eating he goes oh my god don't look over to your right but my daughter is here with a date no way the dad was on the date with the daughter basically because he was out with us but had no idea that his daughter chose the same restaurant that he was eating with us his daughter's probably 20s i don't know mid-20s or something like that and his daughter was with a guy that he i said do you know the guy and he goes i don't know he goes but i know she's dating she's on you know what he says one of the apps uh and uh it was kind of funny it was actually interesting because i'm sitting there the whole time like giving them date updates i'm like here's our second date update right now did she see him she didn't see him at all in the way that the restaurant was and i told you off the air what the restaurant was the way that the restaurant was there's two different areas you can eat in one of the areas you're kind of blocked by a wall and so we're sitting in the booth in this one but we're looking out at the table and they're like having a good time like i'm like giving i literally i'm like giving a little communique to the dad about how things are going how things are going and um the worst part was he couldn't get up to go to the bathroom at all during the entire time and he had to go to the bathroom so bad so the whole time he's like fidgeting because he doesn't want to get up and go and then have her recognize and he doesn't his biggest thing he said was i don't think she would mind but he didn't want to embarrass her while she was out with this guy

00:03:59 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 7:

plus i feel like you well and you would act different i would act a little bit different if i knew my dad was or maybe not my dad but if i knew that somebody like if it was one of you guys

00:04:08 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 6:

yeah there yeah right bro i remember one time took this chick to the movies yeah we walk in the movies we was going to see that denzel washington roman movie where he was like a lawyer or something like that we walk in the theater as soon as we shut out she was like oh my god i'm like what my dad is three rows no i swear to god i was like oh bet we gotta meet him i turned around he was all creepy waving like she was so embarrassed what so what did you guys oh after it i'm all about were you a gentleman

00:04:46 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

Like, were you like, hello, sir.

00:04:48 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 6:

Families love me. I'm telling you, families love me.

00:04:51 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome, man. That is so cool. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. If you've ever been on a date in one of your friends,

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 2:

When you were on the date, recognize somebody that was there at that moment. Who was the person? Because I want to know if there's anybody that has even more embarrassing like than their parents being there.

00:05:09 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So I've got one. When Wes and I had first started dating, we had maybe been dating a couple of months. And we were sitting at the bar of our restaurant and my ex-husband walked in on a date. Oh, no. And that, I mean, talk about uncomfortable and awkward. And so he came over to say hi and I said, here's the deal. we will be done in about 25 minutes so if you guys want to go get a drink and come back then you can have the restaurant to yourselves and we're going somewhere else to have a drink after this anyway and was everybody good with it and that's exactly i think what happened oh that's cool do you like the fact that he came over and spoke oh for sure but i i it would i i don't know if i would have loved if we were both eating dinner on a date in the restaurant at the same time That would have been super awkward, right? Really? It would have been the only thing I focused on. At that point when we were both just starting to date. Yeah.

00:06:04 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

What if he paid for your meal?

00:06:07 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

That still wouldn't. No.

00:06:09 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm saying, but would that not be a thing? Like that would be one of those ones where it's kind of like a slam.

00:06:14 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, and then left?

00:06:14 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 2:

No, like a slam. That's what I'm saying. If I'm West, I would have been pissed. Or sends over a bottle of wine or something. Hey, I'd like to send over drinks to you, you guys. I would have had to smash you that night. Yeah. Straight up. You know about the flex on us like that. That's a good question. Ask that question. Did Wes get to smash you that night? Was there any smashing going on? I don't know.

00:06:34 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm sure there was. Oh. I can't remember. I made him wait up the line. I made him wait a long while.

00:06:45 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on a second. Text here right now. 419 says, my dad was on our date, too. My dad was actually on a date with a girl while I was on a date with a girl, and we both were at the same restaurant. His date seemed to go way better than my date because the girl actually made me pay the bill. Amanda, what's going on? Hi. Who was there when you went on a date? Who was the person in the restaurant?

00:07:12 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 3:

So it was to the movies. It was me and my husband's first date, and we ran into my brother.

00:07:17 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Who was he with? Was he with buddies, or who was he with?

00:07:23 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

So he was with his girlfriend, but it's funny because he came up to us, and he's, like, 5'2", and my husband's really tall. And he was, like, puffing out his chest, and he was, like, nice to meet you. You better not mess with my sister. And my husband's, like, made fun of me for it, like, the entire time.

00:07:40 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You know what? That's one of those ones where you can tell you're not Chaldean because if you were Chaldean, which is what Lydia and Bianca are, the Iraqi Catholics to explain to those that don't know what a Chaldean is. Their brothers are so overly protective. It would be like the brother walking up going, you know, what's up, bro? You know, what's happening? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text her here, 95500. Went on a date, had my ex show up. Oh, my God. So another very similar situation where the ex is there. Oh, my God. This is a good one. Went on a date. My first since divorcing, and our babysitter took our kids to the same movie that we went to go see.

00:08:24 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's funny.

00:08:25 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 2:

That would be a tough one. What's going on, Mojo in the Morning? Initial A, being voice disguised. Hi.

00:08:32 - 00:08:32 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

You're voice disguised. It makes you sound cuter when you're voice disguised like this. Who was there on the date?

00:08:40 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 5:

So me and my boyfriend were on a date, and lo and behold, his brother walks in with this girl who wasn't his wife. Oh. And he even walked up to our table and was like, this is my brother and sister-in-law. And I was like, I was panicking. I was like, oh, my God.

00:08:57 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

What was he doing? Was he cheating on his wife?

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 5:

Yes, constantly.

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 2:

And so did you guys keep the secret?

00:09:05 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

No, I had to tell his mom because if I didn't, I would have been like in deeper trouble than I already was being there.

00:09:12 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. His mom probably beat his ass for that one. Julie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:09:17 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:09:20 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Morning.

00:09:20 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 4:

So my husband and I were going through our marriage classes before we got married, and we'd finished the class, went out to see the movie Basic Instinct a couple of days later, and when we were walking in, I looked at who was sitting around us, and our priest, and I'm assuming another priest, were five rows back. Why was your priest there?

00:09:48 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

He was seeing Basic Instinct.

00:09:51 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but like, that's worse on your priest than on you.

00:09:55 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

No, priests aren't allowed to watch art movies. That's not allowed. Not allowed. It was a little...

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 3:

It was creepy because it was like the whole movie. I kept just thinking he's behind us. Yeah. Isn't Basic Instinct the movie? That's not cool.

00:10:08 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 4:

Is Basic Instinct the movie with Sharon Stone where she shows her like.

00:10:13 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

Her lady bits.

00:10:14 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

Her lady bits. Yeah. Did the priest have a smile on his face?

00:10:18 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 2:

It was very creepy. Priests aren't allowed to see that.

00:10:21 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

It's creepy with your priest behind you.

00:10:23 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Now they can see it. They just can't marry it.

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 2:

They're not even allowed to look at diagrams drawn in books. They're not allowed.

00:10:28 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Dennis, who was out on a date when you went on a date?

00:10:32 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

I went out to take my girlfriend to a nice place down in Plymouth downtown. And we get there and we sit down. And all of a sudden, my ex walks up and she's our waitress.

00:10:45 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's even worse. She's serving you food. How did that go over?

00:10:51 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 6:

It was weird because, you know, my girlfriend knew about the whole situation. She was the only girl I messed with in high school. So it was really, really awkward the whole entire time.

00:11:01 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 4:

You think she spit in your food?

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 6:

I really hope not.

00:11:06 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. Initial M, voice disguised. Hi, what's going on? We're talking about how when you go on a date, it's always embarrassing if you know somebody that's there. What happened?

00:11:20 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 1:

Something that I thought would never happen. So we went on a date, my husband and I, and we were trying to find a third, somebody to swing with one time, and we decided we would take him on a date to meet him. Look over the table, and there is my cousin and her entire family.

00:11:41 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

And it's you, your husband, and this woman, I'm assuming, or guy?

00:11:46 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

It was a woman, and we just introduced her as a friend.

00:11:51 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:11:52 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 1:

trying not to be as suspicious as i could be it could not have been more awkward and did you guys

00:12:00 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 4:

end up completing the swing oh for sure oh my did your cousin ever bring it up to you after that no she didn't even suspect anything oh my god that is crazy that that's an interesting process all together you know we were talking about that when people ask you to swing but i always wonder Like, what do you guys do? So you have to, like, interview them, and that's kind of what you did.

00:12:25 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 1:

It was a once deal. We weren't ever going to do it again. It was something we just wanted to try.

00:12:33 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:12:33 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 1:

We were high school sweethearts, and that was something that neither of us got to experience.

00:12:38 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

00:12:39 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 1:

So this was, it was a dating process.

00:12:42 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

There you go. A little spice in the relationship. Let me grab one last one here. Sasha, you there? Hi.

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

00:12:50 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

Good. Sasha, you went on a date and had a very embarrassing thing happen to you.

00:12:56 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So we're sitting at the bar, and two of the dates that I went on a week before were on literally opposite sides of the bar. They just looked at me, and I'm like, oh, my God, I got to get out of here.

00:13:08 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

Why do you choose the same place that you take all these dates to?

00:13:11 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

No, it wasn't. No, it wasn't. It was absolutely a completely different bar.

00:13:15 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Just completely different. Just a coincidence. Oh, but it's just the same area of town. You need to go to different areas of town. That's amazing, though. Three dates in one.

00:13:23 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

Three dates in one.

00:13:24 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I said I was going to grab one last one with you, Sasha, but Vinny then called up out of the blue. Vinny, you there? Yes, sir.

00:13:34 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 7:

What's up?

00:13:35 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

Vinny, you ran into your ex on a date, and what happened?

00:13:41 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 7:

She flapped my tires.

00:13:43 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

So, she noticed that you were out on a date with a girl, and she went outside knowing what you drove?

00:13:52 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 7:

I was at the movies.

00:13:52 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:13:53 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 7:

What happened, I was at the movies with the Star Theater. You just had that ballet, whatever. Oh, yeah. And then I went into the movies, and her sister was sitting behind me. And I was like, oh. I was like, she waves, hey, Danny. I was like, hey, hey, hey. And then next thing you know, we walked out and she was, we get my keys from the valet guy. He's like, hey, your tires are flat. And I turned around. Oh, my goodness. I turned around. My ex-girlfriend's right there. She's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Who you on the date with?

00:14:28 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, crazy. They've taken over cities before. But this July, they're bringing the X Games League Championship home to New Orleans. July 24th through 26th at the Superdome.
