And then we, of course, know that Post and Jelly Roll will be performing there, too. So a lot of stuff to get to today. We will. I'm going to stay on track because if I don't stay on track, I'm going to veer off the side of the road. And the only person that's going to make me veer off the side of the road is Beyonce.

There you go. Put some respect on her name. Yes.

Now, what is she? Beyonce officially has attained every single award that they offer at the Grammy Awards.

She should.

She won the big award, which was Album of the Year, which I did not know that she did not have Album of the Year yet.

Which is wild, especially with Lemonade. That is wild.

But what would you do to think that Beyonce would get it off of that Cowboy Carter crap?

I wouldn't say it's crap. I don't think you've listened to it. You haven't listened to it, have you? I think more people were up in arms about the winning country album of the year, not

so much album of the year.

Which is funny because nobody had a problem when Post Malone switched over to country or when Taylor Swift switched over to pop.

But maybe it doesn't have to do with somebody coming into the genre as much as maybe the album wasn't as good as the other country albums. But then you get in. I love when artists switch genres same I love that and I love what Beyonce said last night when she was like you know we shouldn't be constrained to a genre genres shouldn't be there to put people in your place if you have creative you know expression and you want to try something different you should be able to and I agree with that I just think that there were other artists in the country genre who were as deserving if not more deserving break it down

though and vote based on like music theory and like the quality of like the ingenuity people take to it and some people are like but I like this better because it's more of a poppy country album and I like singing to it. But you're not a country fan

though. That's the thing. The country fans are like so upset

today. But I don't think country fans listen to the album. Casey Musgrave's

face. It said it all. It said it all.

By the way, great Grammy Awards. I thought it was probably the best award show I have watched in years. Yeah. It was so entertaining. I thought it was such a great show. The performances were great.

And what they did, the tributes that they did for, you know, California for Los Angeles.

I think a little part of it, you also have to put a stamp from Linda Martel, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton. Like, this was an album full of legends as well.

Did you say my turn? What did you say? What did you say? You're over there making, you sound like her husband Jay-Z on songs when he goes, uh, uh, uh.

I mean, I think it's sweet justice. I think a lot of people have felt that Beyonce should have won album of the year at some point in her 25-year career and over 30-plus Grammys. It's crazy how you can be the most nominated for songs, but for some reason, people don't like it when you put all the songs together. And I think it is beautiful that this particular album is the album that won album of the year in front of all the other ones. A lot of people bringing up this country album couldn't name you three songs on any of the other country album. So some people are just mad. I think it's big funny that they mad, but I also think it's beautiful because, and what's very interesting is everybody hates Kanye, right? And a lot of people hate Kanye for his reaction to a Taylor Swift award. It's kind of interesting how some people are having this virtual reaction to Beyonce winning an award. Y'all a little bit more like Kanye than y'all want to admit.

Oh, by the way, speaking of Kanye, Kanye got kicked out of the Grammys, so we'll get into that this morning too. That is not true, by the way. No? No. Oh, well, let's talk about that.

I will bust that rumor for you in the dirty.

That outfit, by the way, or non-outfit, by the way.

The outfit was absolutely ridiculous. And we're talking about Bianca, not Kanye. What she wore, I actually don't think she should have been allowed to walk the carpet. I don't either. That was crazy. And, like, we've come to a point where, and I am all about, I mean, show skin. Look at Olivia Rodrigo. There were so many people that were showing some great skin last night. That was public indecency.

It was, that was just, it was, if a man had walked out on the red carpet, we would say he should be arrested. That's public indecency. They would be on a sex offender list. If she was on the streets wearing that, you would be a registered sex offender. So why is it okay on the red carpet?

Yeah. If you did hear the rumor that they got kicked out, that is not true. They tell it in the jury. Okay.

Tell it in the jury. Yeah. That was a good tease how you did that. I was going to, I like that. No, we'll get, we'll get into it all.

me. She said to stay on time today. What's going on? That's fine. Um, I think that I, first of all, I think that Beyonce is a really good artist. Like I think she's amazing. Everything allows that she's put out. However, I do think that the reason why she won so many awards for Cowboy Carter is, um, because of her marketing. Cause I haven't seen as much marketing as I have for of this album compared to any other artist.

She out-marketed everybody else. Sometimes I do think that that happens at different award shows, you know, VMAs and, you know, radio or what is it, AMAs and stuff like that. I don't know if the Grammys necessarily gets marketing. I feel like the Grammys do exactly what Megan does. They try to be more artistic

in what they're doing.

And I think that's their thing.

There are a lot of people that win Grammys that I really understand. And I think we talk about pop artists and most of the time we're like, oh, that makes sense. And every once in a while we'll talk about a rap album and we're like, what happened there? And I think sometimes people get into the artsy aspects of it rather than the popularity of it, just like singability or car plays or whatever it is. And I think that played a big role in this. If you look at the musicality and, like, if you really break down the nerdiness, right, and the music theory of Beyoncé's cowboy car, it's a beautiful album. It's very interesting what they did.

That's amazing. That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything.

I do love this text message. Beyoncé only got the award because the Jay-Z Diddy scandal. I love that. I love it. So we'll get into it. We'll get into it in a little bit.

I went to the Pistons game, which I feel like I almost killed myself to go to it because the weather was just horrendous. I mean, did anybody predict that we were going to get like a blizzard in the streets were horrible i was sliding all over the place and then afterwards went out to eat i gotta say hi to anthony laverde what's up anthony uh he's doing great anthony used to be the ceo of imagine theaters and now he's got some big stuff in the works that is going to be announced soon but i have to tell you um i'm not a person that eats dinner at nine o'clock at night or 9 30 at night we ate at 9 30 it was crazy on friday like i felt like to myself i was like are we eating breakfast for saturday morning it was just so nuts um but we ate at a restaurant that is unbelievable you guys it's called wilders it's in birmingham it is ridiculous i'm gonna i'm actually going there on wednesday night with us well i'm gonna tell you this you're gonna enjoy every bit of it because the place is he's that's the scene and be seen and eat and be eaten restaurant but um what kind of food uh it is like a steak place kind of like a new york style like steak you know steak place steak joint um but um but really good um and uh it was like people watching i couldn't believe it who are people that go out to eat at 10 o'clock at night and the people that were out there there were it was like of all ages i couldn't like that was the part that was so wild for me like the it was 20 and 30 somethings it seemed like at that time of night were earlier when we first got there at like nine it felt like it was all the you know the 50 plus year olds like that were leaving to go

home and be fast asleep where i should have been you know why i love it yeah because i think i feel a little too old to go to the bars and clubs at late i feel a little weird but you can sit out and talk with your friends and drink and have food and like still socialize pretty late until

the night without coming off as creepy yeah well love it it's we sat next to uh the tables you know are right there so you're quaint and stuff and we sat next to these two extremely attractive lithuanian women i know them because the one lady is a listener of the mojo in the morning show um and works for uh my good friends the the jonah family and she was so we kind of talked a little bit and the weather was really bad i was saying and they walked there and when they were when they were leaving they were they were talking about how they were walking home uh or walking out of there and they were it's almost slipped like three or four times and it brought up a question what in and i did not drive them anywhere so i just want everybody to know this i did not drive them anywhere clear would it had been bad would it be bad to give strangers a ride especially if the strangers were a two attractive lithuanian women yes would it be bad yeah yeah you can't it looks so bad i think that's why you give them the ride because they are we cab if you saw two you're out in a snowstorm

and you see somebody walking and they're slipping and sliding on the side of the road. If it's a dude, you probably aren't going to think much of it. You're going to say, you know, tough luck guy. If it's a woman, you're going to go, oh, I feel horrible for her. Or a child or something like that. A child for sure.

I mean, if it's snowing so bad, I probably couldn't see their face. And I'm like, eh, they'll be all right. Pray for it. Really? Yeah, I should have worn boots.

Would it be weird? would it have been weird if if we said oh we'll give you a ride yes it would have been yeah okay

all right good so you get off it's a bad look yeah it's how rumors get started yeah i think

your wife would not have been thrilled quick quick question for you then on on this with why are people in snowstorms because i saw this this weekend and honestly even if it's not snow storms why are people walking their dog in a snowstorm or when it's snow outside like that or i saw a guy on a motorcycle this weekend that's wild i swear to you it was crazy i was i know a

guy who only had a motorcycle though and so he drove it year round that's what i was gonna say

maybe that's his only mode of transportation uh-huh i which sucks i saw a guy riding a bike and i thought the same thing this wasn't friday night but it was one of the days last week that it was snowing and I thought oh that that's gotta be all he all he has to get from point a to point

b and then snow runners what's up with snow what's up with the people that can't run on a treadmill

runners are psychopaths and I say that lovingly so lovingly but I hate when I'm downtown and people who clearly don't live downtown and are maybe just getting like coffee or breakfast or whatever they'll judge me for walking my dog and I'm like I live in an apartment I have to walk

somewhere or my dog's gonna be on the floor but but honestly are you really walking or are you You're just taking it out to, you're taking Coraline out to a tree and just waiting for Coraline to go poop. You have to walk though?

I have to walk a couple of blocks away because so much of my neighborhood is under construction right now.

Dude, I took Bo to the vet last week and the vet was like, you probably need to walk him

more. He's on the upper end when it comes to weight. And I was like, Dr. Schwartz, it is 11 degrees outside. This dog can run around in the backyard.

Listen, my, my dogs, they go outside to go duty.
