All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. home of the war of the roses busting cheaters we got another one coming up here so don't go anywhere mojo shannon megan kev uh we've got mike with us on fridays uh for throwback throwdown kp lydia zach bianca and all the rest of the gang here yesterday after our meeting i had some editing to do and i got to hang out with with the girls uh i got to hang out with lydia and kp we were hanging out in the studio while I was editing. And something came up yesterday that I wanted to bring up. And I want to, I want to ask your guys thoughts on this one. So we were talking about relationships and dating and the conversation came up about KP and her dating life. And she was telling Lydia and I a story about how she one time made, and it sounded interesting. It sounded to be interesting i thought it was chili but this morning she corrected me and said it wasn't chili it was tortellini soup tortellini soup very different she made tortellini soup maybe a tad different right tortellini instead of the beans probably right yeah similar probably stuff different consistency so she made tortellini soup for a a boy once uh not that long ago and and i said oh so you guys are in a relationship and she said to me no i just had a guy come over and eat some food and I said to her and I want to ask your guys questions on this one the more intricate the meal that you make for them the more you're into them if the if the meal requires a lot of ingredients that means that you're more into them than you would have been if you just heated up a tombstone pizza you know what I mean remember tombstone pizza Chris actually I didn't like Tombstone as much. I liked, what was the other one? DiGiorno. DiGiorno. Although DiGiorno might be a little fancy. That might be fancy for a date. Yeah, that was kind of fancy.

00:03:56 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 8:

It's all about the Amy's. Amy? What was Amy? I don't like Amy's. Too crispy.

00:04:00 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 3:

I just veered off the highway and I shouldn't have gotten off on this exit. You start talking pizza and you get crazy. Because now we're going to talk about food. Okay, I want to know your thoughts on this one. Is this fact or fiction? Fiction. What? Fiction.

00:04:11 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, 100% fiction. Let me tell you why. My inner fat girl does not care what you think. It's about what I want to eat.

00:04:18 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 7:

Well, that's what it is, and I hate to say it. I was making myself tortellini soup for the week. He came over, and I gave him a bowl. And this is something I've learned. Unfortunately, the hard way, I'm not giving men my food anymore. They don't commit either way, so I'm keeping my food to myself and saving me my grocery bill. It's happened too many times where people want girlfriend perks without the commitment, and unfortunately, they haven't paid for that subscription. Okay, two things here.

00:04:48 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 3:

So the free trial is over. Two things here.

00:04:49 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I had a dude see me for two months. I would make him food. He would come over. He'd watch my Netflix. He'd sit on my couch. He'd pet my cat. And then he'd leave. And it's like, I'm over this.

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

Praise it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

That's, you know what? Get your mind out of the gutter. Rub Bubba. You rub Bubba and leave, and I'm over it. It's like, you are enjoying a home that I have created. You're not a part of it. You don't contribute to it. You don't do anything for me. I'm not doing this anymore.

00:05:17 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 5:

Don't kill my topic, because this topic is a good topic. She just went on. I think mine's better. Here's the deal. This is the deal. Guys, I want guys' thoughts on this one, because right away, Kev, you agreed with me.

00:05:25 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm 100 with you.

00:05:27 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so here's the thing. I think you don't understand ladies you guys don't understand us animals known as men when we see that there are there's effort put in and it wasn't that you opened up a can of progresso we realize to ourselves okay she must like me and that's the thing you're sending off the relationship vibes to a guy if you're putting together Chelsea one of the first meals Chelsea ever did for me was was a Friendsgiving meal she did she did a turkey with some stovetop and mashed potatoes, she actually made them homemade. The right man

00:06:01 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

will see that and will treat you correctly. Most of them see it as, oh, she likes me. I got her. I can continue to use that.

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 5:

The wrong man looks at it, how?

00:06:12 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

Looks at it like, oh, I know she has feelings for me. Now I can continue to use her and not be committed to her.

00:06:17 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 5:

I never left the moment that she made me that meal.

00:06:20 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

And that is just, that is a fairy tale story. I wish that would have

00:06:23 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 5:

happened to me. So, 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665 6548, our telephone number. I want to know men, women, and others. I want to know your thoughts on this one here. Is the more involved the recipe, the more you want to be involved with that guy or that girl? What's up, Motion? How you doing?

00:06:45 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm great. So, I mean, the dude's going to eat regardless.

00:06:49 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah?

00:06:50 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

We guys, we eat. We don't care if it's a sandwich, if it's pizza, or if you do a souffle. We don't eat it, whether we're into it or not. That's just a true fact

00:06:58 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 5:

But if it's a souffle That takes a while to make And has a lot of ingredients Don't you think this girl has got some She's got some thoughts about me

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes true Yes Mine does it all the time And I know she loves me

00:07:15 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

See that's the conversation Let me tell you something The fewer ingredients I use That's how much you know I love you Because the more I use the more I'm going to F it up and then you're not going to eat. So if we go out to eat or order food, I am madly in love with you.

00:07:32 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Says the woman who cannot cook. This is correct.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 6:

There's peanut butter and jelly over here.

00:07:36 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 4:

This is correct. I'm just making sure at least you have something.

00:07:39 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 6:

Early on in Shirelle's and I's relationship, we got together in November, kind of a few weeks before Thanksgiving. That's when we solidified it. So her first big cooking for you meal was Thanksgiving. When I say she called every auntie she had to figure out how to cook the greens the right way, her first time making, like, yams, like, she went all out. That's how you tell somebody loves you, bro. When they going all, I'm telling you.

00:08:05 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

00:08:08 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 6:

I'm talking to your inner fat girl right now.

00:08:09 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 7:

I love how you're telling me women's intentions. I'm also, I'm not saying that that isn't the effort you put in when you like somebody. I just don't think it's the only qualifying factor to say, I like you. I'll put in effort even if I don't like you just because either A, I'm trying to show off that I'm good at this or B, I want the meal. But if I like you, I'm going to put in a lot of effort too.

00:08:30 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 5:

The problem is, Megan, I don't think we're telling you how you should think. We're telling you how we think and so you're sending off those vibes.

00:08:36 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 6:

But I'm telling you you're wrong. She's right though. She's right because they will whip it up for you just to show you what's here.

00:08:42 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Ashley, what's up?

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:08:45 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 5:

Fantastic. Ashley, your thoughts?

00:08:48 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to say, you know, I kind of agree with you guys, but I totally am now kind of starting to side with Megan. If I'm making a big meal, I obviously like you. If I didn't like you, you're getting a grilled cheese. But if I'm craving a big meal, we're going with what I'm craving, not what I might impress you with.

00:09:06 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. You're a woman of the new age. By the way The thing also is too Is if she eats like a queen Then you know that Then she's probably not that into you She's just in about eating That's all she's caring about

00:09:24 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 4:

Have you guys heard about engagement chicken The recipe for engagement chicken About girls will make Ina Gartens However you want to say her name But her recipe for engagement chicken If you want to get engaged If you've been dating somebody for a long time Wasn't it Ellen used to make that It's been a thing since like the 1980s It's been a thing for decades and decades and decades that there's this one specific recipe that you can make if you want your man to propose. No, it's a pie, wasn't it? Or what was it? Well, Ellen's was her mac and cheese. Her mac and cheese, mac and cheese. If she really likes you, she'll make the mac and cheese. But engagement, check in. Look it up on Google. It is a real thing.

00:09:57 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Kim, what's up?

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 8:

I just wanted to say I don't think you should cook for anybody because I gave somebody Ritz crackers once, and it ended real bad. No wonder. So I don't give food to anybody anymore. You gave the guy Ritz. Well, no, he fell in love with me and then stalked me.

00:10:17 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

It wasn't the crackers, baby.

00:10:19 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 6:

When you present the Ritz, you lost crackers. When you present the Ritz, do you put it on a plate real fancy and go, welcome, bon appétit?

00:10:27 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that's not giving them the cookie. That's giving them the Ritz. Maria, what's up?

00:10:34 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how's it going?

00:10:35 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

00:10:37 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 7:

I just want to say we are not cooking for anybody unless we're dating. Period.

00:10:42 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the deal.

00:10:43 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 7:

They're like fine, too much effort, and then they don't even appreciate it.

00:10:46 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

No. Then they asked to take some home.

00:10:49 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 4:

KP learned that the hard way when she dated that football player. No.

00:10:53 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, football guy, he ate everything out of my pantry, even if I didn't give it to him.

00:10:58 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

He's already lucky enough getting a date. Just be thankful with that. Be grateful with that.

00:11:04 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm not out here begging for anything. I'm not going to be thankful for a date. Don't eat my food. Don't take my food.

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Aaliyah?

00:11:12 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 10:

Hey, good morning.

00:11:13 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:11:15 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 10:

I just want to say I agree with KT on the whole girlfriend perks without the commitment because I've been with my boyfriend for six years and I'm more so at a wife status in my head because I cook, I clean, I do all that, but I don't got a ring on my finger.

00:11:30 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Uh-oh. You want us to talk to them? What are you going to do about it?

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 10:

You should, yeah.

00:11:34 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 4:

Choke them with Ritz crackers, we learned this morning.

00:11:37 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 9:

I should.

00:11:39 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Is the way to go. Kat, what's up?

00:11:42 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 9:

Hi, long-time listener, first time caller. Hey, there's cats on the phone. I've been listening to you guys since I was in high school. We love you. And I'm now 25.

00:11:52 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:11:53 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 9:

So, I wanted to make a comment because I actually went on a date with a guy who made me a whole five-course meal. We went over to his house. He made me soup, salad. We had lasagna. It was a great night together. And then he ghosted me, like, three days later. So, I think that, you know, chivalry is not dead. So, I was pretty angry. However, it has a happy ending. I've been with my boyfriend now for about seven years. Okay. And he makes me food every single day. I'm having a bad day. He will always get me my favorite food of Taco Bell. It's a big of my heart. That's a guy.

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 4:

Mariam, Mariam, put a ring on that. You guys both.

00:12:39 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it's in the process. Don't you worry. Yes.

00:12:43 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

By the way, yeah.

00:12:44 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 6:

Did you go through that guy's garbage? Because I'm not going to lie. The vibes it's giving is I ordered this from a place to go and put it on my own plates. You know what?

00:12:54 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 9:

I thought about it because he had a dog that kept, like, going towards it, and it just kind of gave me a certain vibe of, like, oh, I felt special. But then, like, the next morning I was like, I don't know about this.

00:13:09 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. By the way, guys, if they're going through your garbage, that might be a little crazy, too. You might want to watch that. That's crazy.

00:13:17 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

We've all been there. We've had seasons that have shaken everything. The question is, what remains when the shaking stops? Hi, I'm Gary Valenciano.
