Traffic jams make Americans more likely to hit the drive-thru. Unexpected traffic delays have led to an increase in fast food visits, translating in approximately 1.2 million additional trips annually. Wow. So researchers did analysis on traffic jams and where people are kind of dealing with the most traffic issues, which, by the way, I have to tell you guys, there's been so much in Toledo and Grand Rapids. You guys probably have just as many as we do in the Detroit area. But in my town or that I live in or my county that I live in, Oakland County, it's really gotten to be crazy. Like there obviously were one of the biggest, you know, highways is six ninety six. That's had issues. Yeah. Well, now they've cut off the main area that's right by my house, which is like Orchard Lake Road. And it's caused for me to have to, you know, probably add on another like 10, 15, 20 minutes to a commute. So anytime I have to go anywhere, I have to add a little bit of time onto the deal. And I know many people are faced with this in other places. But it's wild to think that they say that researchers analyzed people and their GPS and how GPS takes you a different way to try to go around it. because we all use Waze or Google Maps or Apple, whatever, and a lot of those services will give us a different route. Well, those different routes make for you to have to go by certain areas that might have a different fast food establishment.

See, this is where the conspiracy hat gets pulled out because I think they're in cahoots with the map so that they force you to show them and go past them so you can spend that money, I'm telling you. Really? I don't think it's not by coincidence, bro.

It used to be that the Chick-fil-A took you forever to go through because you had the weight of having to wait in that long line. Now they've gotten their crap together. Anybody listening live kind of close where I live in Kego Harbor, Sylvan Lake area. There used to be a set of, it was everything. It was Burger King. they've kind of closed down now which i don't understand why that strip closed down it was burger king kfc taco bell rallies and mcdonald's and all in a row and it used to be that the traffic especially like at five o'clock in the evening or 5 20 5 30 in the evening when it was a big afternoon commute would get so crazy and i would find myself on that road i would try to go through all the the fast food establishments and go through them all and the funny part was the last one was always the taco bell and the people in the taco bell window would go what'd you get at mcdonald's i knew i was getting them all like an amusement park jordan what's

going on it's mojo in the morning do you do this i i kind of do it so i listen from grand blank but i work in farmington okay so i have to take all those roundabouts and commerce and it takes It's like 20 minutes extra on top of my hour drive already. Yeah. And because it takes so long and I'm stuck in traffic, stop and go in the roundabouts, I stop at 7-Eleven to get road snackies.

By the way, I know exactly the areas that you're talking about. So you drive by that McDonald's that's over there, right? I mean, there's that McDonald's that's over there.

Oh, absolutely.

Yeah. And you can actually drive through. If you're trying in your morning commute, if you're going through, You can get right through the McDonald's faster than you can waiting at that light for the light to turn. If you even go through. So a little road snackies. Easily. What's your favorite road snackie?

When I go to 7-Eleven, I always have to get the Buffalo Roller or the taquitos.

Have you ever tried the hamburger hot dog? The cheeseburger hot dog?

You know, I've tried those at Coney Island. I don't think I've tried it at a 7-Eleven.

A cheeseburger hot dog is the reason why I had to have open-heart surgery years ago. It literally is a cheeseburger that is in the shape of a hot dog, and they put it on the little rollers in there. If you've never tried it before, it's heaven.

I think all of those were franchises, and people just weren't getting as much as they wanted and backed out.

Did you ever do what I did, and you would go to McDonald's for the fries, Taco Bell for the cheesy gordita crunches, Wendy's for the chili? Like, you'd put a whole meal together?

I'd still kind of do that, depending on what everybody in the house wants. We'll get Taco Bell for one kid and McDonald's for somebody else. Yeah, we've done that.
