We'll be right back.

00:01:57 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 6:

download the moto casino app today uh kpr producer is so cute that uh she and her family are very tight you know she comes from a large family and as the holidays get closer together um you know they all get together and then your mom like makes you guys go do you guys do midnight mass or do you guys do like the normal sunday church or like the regular church the next day so we used to do

00:02:25 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 4:

midnight mass but it's been like a family tradition for the past like five or six years for my brother and I to perform with the choir or like the the cantata mass or how do we call it like just like the yeah small little choir in the back um we do like some adult contemporary stuff and traditional things so she always comes just a tad bit early when and when you're talking christmas eve mass it's not like oh we're gonna get there 20 minutes early it's like You get there an hour and a half early to try and get a seat.

00:02:55 - 00:03:02 | Speaker 6:

You go to the church service an hour and a half beforehand to get a seat?

00:03:02 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 4:

So I'm typically there earlier for rehearsal, and then my mom will get there still early just to make sure our seats are still saved. She will not tolerate no seat saved. This is a huge ordeal.

00:03:17 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 6:

How do you save seats?

00:03:19 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know. So we do coats and like literally every strap of anything. Coats on the pews. Put your keys down, take off your shirt and set it down. Literally every article of clothing. Yes, I always lay her up on Christmas Eve mass and like, oh, shoot, I need to have like a bunch of clothes so I can have that at home. So she did something kind of funny a couple of weeks ago at our church. We had a big Christmas concert and they had printed out these reserved seat signs for the music ministry. and it was just printed out on the pews. And after the cantata was over, she put a bunch of them in her pocket. And I knew what she was doing. She was saving those for Christmas Eve mass. She was going to take those reserve slips that the church had printed for that one-night event, and she's going to take them and reserve a bunch of pews for our family for Christmas Eve mass. This is supposed to be funny. No, that's not. She's me.

00:04:13 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 2:

I would do the same thing. I really appreciate that she does that. My family used to get so mad at me. Because I would make everybody go so early. So we would get the good seat.

00:04:22 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. And then you always, like, you look at those people who come in so, so late. The mass is already started. That's me. And they sneak somehow to the front. They somehow get to squeeze in.

00:04:30 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 6:

I'm the C&E. I'm the Christmas and Easter guy. And comes and takes your... What is the point of the better seats? Like, front row to the Lord?

00:04:40 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 4:

Like, what is the road? Yeah, she wants to see God front and center. I want to see everything. Yeah. I sit front and center. When you're in the back, it's just difficult. It's just a different vibe in the back of the church. All the cool kids sit in the front.

00:04:51 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

I did not. By the way, I learned so much about you. I knew that you were a regular go to church on Sunday, which I think is wonderful that you do that. I wish.

00:05:00 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 1:

honestly, that you would rub off on my children. Because I used to be more, you know, in line with that. And then, you know, I kind of got away from it over time. But I think it's wild. Did you know she sings? I did not know.

00:05:14 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 2:

So she posted a video the other day. You posted it, right? Yeah, I did. She posted a video the other day of her singing a solo at church. And I was like, wait a second. I did not know that KP could sing so beautifully.

00:05:25 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, what was the song? It was a duet for our cantata. us it wasn't a mass it was just a big christmas concert and it's it's funny that you say like that mojo you didn't know about this um because you had mentioned a couple weeks ago like we have so many people on our show nobody sings it at church and i was gonna say something but i don't know i feel like it's important that if god gives you gifts you use them and even though like i had absolutely no time like i was i was literally crawling on the ground to get to rehearsal a couple weeks ago um i don't know it's it it's uh i do this every couple like every couple weeks i've got one scheduled and i the worst i procrastinate so i get all my music memorized the day before

00:06:03 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 1:

and um i don't know i just this is they don't give the the people that are in the church choir their family members like special treatment as far as like seats and stuff well no not really

00:06:14 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 3:

they should give you guys like your own uh seats there literally should be a penrose row because we are we are there for everything i feel like yeah that's amazing yeah but the so a couple weeks ago when my mom did save those seats i put the coats down and i noticed that there were a couple people sitting in that pew and i'm like oh boy oh well she's not gonna like this and uh i go up to the pew and i'm like oh hey did uh are you guys like in this row and they're like oh yeah and so i i'm not brave enough to tell them to go away so i just went back and my mom found out and

00:06:49 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

suddenly she had that row again so will they start a fight with your mom is your mom like Like, Jenna, your mom's got that Italian side of her.

00:06:55 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

My mom is not someone you argue with, not because she's, like, angry or scary. She's just very, very persuasive. She'll make you feel like you're wrong.

00:07:04 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

She's very intimidating. Yes. Yeah, she intimidates the hell out of me.

00:07:08 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So she's, like, a funny, she'll make it a joke. Like, I don't know how to describe it. You know how some people are just, like, ha, ha, ha, yeah, and then you're going to get up and leave. And then they're, like, oh, yeah, I'm going to get up and leave. That's the type of person my mom is. That's a skill. It is. Oh, she's so good. Go, Mama KP. Yeah, if you think I'm intense, my mom is not someone you want to mess with. What is this song?

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 1:

This is Hallelujah.

00:07:36 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, shoot. This version is terrible.

00:07:38 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Who is this? Oh, my God.

00:07:40 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:07:41 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

Turn it off.

00:07:42 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. It's what I found in the system here. You should play the Shrek version. Wait, there's a Shrek version of this?

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't think it's actually Shrek.

00:07:57 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 1:

What's the guy's name? Is it Andrea Bocelli? Or who's the guy that does the...

00:08:02 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 2:

Andrew Bocelli? Josh Groban? Who are you thinking of? Michael Boulay.

00:08:06 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

Josh Groban, right? Josh Groban.

00:08:08 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I'm shutting up.

00:08:09 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 1:

Josh Groban, hallelujah. No, that's what I'm saying. Shannon, you just said that. Oh, okay. Josh Groban.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

I thought you just thought of it, and I was like...

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I wouldn't.

00:08:17 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 3:

I feel like every kid sings this song for the talent show, and it's always the worst. I do love this song. That version creeps me out.

00:08:23 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Because you're in the choir. Will you sing Hallelujah for us?

00:08:26 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

00:08:26 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Will you do it?

00:08:27 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

00:08:27 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

You can't brag about singing and then not sing. Hold on. I'm going to get it. What is it?

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Hallelujah is kind of intense. That is. It is. It's very daunting.

00:08:36 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 1:

No, I like Hallelujah. It's one of my favorites.

00:08:37 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Just have her pick something to sing. No, it's one of my favorites. You're just lying because you wanted to sing that song.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

How about this? I'll sing Hallelujah.

00:08:44 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

We can do Away in a Manger together.

00:08:46 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

I'll do, no, wait, hold on. I can do Hallelujah Josh Groban. Let me find it here.

00:08:57 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 3:

Texters are saying they walked down the aisle to the Shrek version. It must have been a fun wedding.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hold on. That's the ad. That's the ad in the beginning of it.

00:09:06 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it sounded like an ad for the beginning of a different kind of video.

00:09:10 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Megan. Oh, you thought it was, would that not be the most?

00:09:14 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Imagine if that happened, especially while we were trying to play hallelujah and talking about church. I know I'm not the only person that thought that, though.

00:09:23 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

I heard that drum and I was like, wrong website. Oh, man.

00:09:27 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, hold on, hold on. Stand by. Stand by for hallelujah.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

If you're actually going to make me sing, I should probably go warm up or something.

00:09:37 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Hallelujah.

00:09:38 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

We've all had to sing on this lovely radio program.

00:09:41 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. What are you doing? I'm looking for it right now. Did you forget how to spell hallelujah? I did. I did. L, L. All right, here we go. Here we go. Hold on. E-L. All right, I got it. U-J. I got it. A-H.

00:10:20 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 8:

okay all right isn't it just hallelujah over and over yeah yeah here are the lyrics uh the lyrics

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 4:

You're going to say them and then I have to repeat them?

00:10:30 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, you've got to repeat them. Baby, I've been there before.

00:10:33 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 4:

This is not a church song.

00:10:35 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 7:

It's a good song. Hold on. I'll find it right here. Doesn't J Towers play any of this stuff on our Christmas station?

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, there's also the Rufus Wainwright version too.

00:10:44 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 7:

Who's this? Pentatonix.

00:10:46 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.

00:10:48 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 7:

All right, here we go.

00:10:48 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Here, Shannon, look at the lyrics.

00:10:53 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 8:
