It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:32 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 7:

All right. Why are you not getting a call after you went on a date? We're going to find out right now. Second date update is on the Mojo in the Morning show. Text DATE to 95500 if you're being ghosted, and we'll get you on the show. Shane is on with us right now. Shane, you're being ghosted? Hey, I am. How are you, Shane?

00:01:53 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 6:

uh other than being ghosted i guess i'm all right i know it's like i know it's so bad it's like how's

00:02:01 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 7:

your day going well not great i'm calling up the show to figure out why a girl's not calling me back um you guys met you guys went out uh how did you guys meet where'd you guys uh

00:02:10 - 00:02:27 | Speaker 6:

connect with each other yeah we uh we met on hinge and we chatted um and like chatted one night and And I was like, let's go out the next day. I took her out to eat and haven't heard from her since. Yeah.

00:02:28 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 4:

How did it end? We always ask this question because it kind of gives us some good insight.

00:02:33 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, like, not to kiss and tell her whatever, but, like, she did come home with me. We did hook up. So I thought it ended pretty well.

00:02:42 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Interesting. So you guys went out, had fun with each other, and now she's not calling you back. That usually is something that happens to the girls that call our show or women that call our show. It doesn't really happen to guys. So it's kind of interesting. We're going to find out what's going on. Lexi is on with us right now. Lexi, will you say hello to Shane?

00:03:08 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 9:

Hello?

00:03:11 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 8:

Hello?

00:03:11 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's up?

00:03:14 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 8:

Hi.

00:03:16 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 7:

Lexi, was your, this is a little awkward. Although I feel like you kind of make it a little bit more awkward by the way that you kind of, I mean, you guys, you guys went out and is everything that he said so far that you've heard correct?

00:03:35 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 8:

I mean, yeah, like we went out, we got food and like, that's it.

00:03:43 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 9:

But, yeah, but I haven't, like, responded to him. But, yeah, everything he said is, like, legit. And why haven't you responded? I mean, he said he has, like, 80, I don't know, like, a lot of student debt. Like, 80K and, like, school debt. And, like, I just, I don't want him to feel, like, shame about it or anything. But, like, I don't have any loans.

00:04:09 - 00:04:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:04:10 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 9:

So, I just want someone, like, within, like, that similar landscape, you know what I mean?

00:04:16 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

So, you guys talked about your school debt, about your college debt?

00:04:25 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 9:

Indeed. I don't know if we, like, talked about it, but he brought it, like, he said he was in debt. So, like, I took that to heart. Like, what am I supposed to do with that information? Like, I listened to it.

00:04:39 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 3:

So you talked about this at dinner. Didn't matter to you. I mean, you went and hooked up. Okay. But that has nothing to do with it. But it has everything to do with it because it's something that you don't like about him. You just said you don't want that in a relationship.

00:04:56 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, hooking up has nothing to do with his...

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, okay.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 4:

But I don't, I guess I don't understand why that's like a no-go, a reason for her, for you to not text him back.

00:05:10 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. Like I want someone more like fiscally responsible, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to hook up with you. Listen, that doesn't mean that somebody's not fiscally responsible.

00:05:19 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 5:

I'm half and half with her. I'm half and half. Half of me is like, listen, everybody has student loan debt. That's like the one debt I can look around. As long as we're making payments on it, you know, it's not like you racked up 80 grand

00:05:32 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 4:

in a credit card bill. That would be different to me.

00:05:36 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 5:

That would be different to me. I completely agree with you. I have no problem with you having an issue with somebody having a lot of debt. The student loan one, just like a, like when I had a mortgage, that's technically debt. Like that's normal debt versus irresponsible debt, like racking up, like you said, a credit card or something.

00:05:53 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 8:

Can I, can I just say this though? if I spend a night with somebody and we had long conversations we finally go back and have sex with each other and the only thing that she came away after we had sex with each other was the fact that I had student debt. The sex must not have been that great. Oh you think she's lying? No I'm just wondering like you know what I mean like you look past certain things but I don't know like does that stick in your head? It wasn't the dick it was the dick. That's what you're saying. I just think there was something else. Am I right?

00:06:28 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 3:

You agree?

00:06:29 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

You can overlook anything if he's hot.

00:06:31 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 8:

Okay, so if the guy would have said that he, well, all things but being like a murderer or something like that, if the guy said something like he was a bad, you know, he's had a lot of dates or whatever over the time and he's had been not in long-term relationships, that wouldn't freak you out if the sex was good?

00:06:49 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

Because if he's good and bad, then he's good for a little bit of time. you can still answer him for you know and you're attracted to him yeah no that's true for sure

00:06:59 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 7:

so that means you well no it still matters by the way like is he still on shane are you still there

00:07:06 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 8:

how good were you in bed now hold on a second hold on i mean i just feel like if that's going

00:07:13 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

to be the thing that turns you off about somebody better be the first question that you ask before you go out with them because i feel like that's 90 of the population emily wants to comment what's

00:07:22 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 9:

up emily good morning how y'all doing good morning what's happening i'm just curious did this young lady like grow up rich or like have lots of okay or were you very very smart yeah most people have to get student loans to go to school and further than so correct i mean i grew i don't know how

00:07:48 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 7:

to answer that like i grew up affluent i guess but like rich rich did your parents if you say

00:07:53 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 8:

affluent you you rich rich did your parents pay your your college uh loans and your your tuition

00:08:01 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 7:

yeah i didn't i i didn't take out there you go okay so there you go so you didn't i graduated

00:08:08 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 8:

without debt yeah uh devin what's up it's mojo in the morning i think she's a gold digger i think

00:08:15 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

She just let him on a little bit more, found out that, you know, oh, he's got student loans. I'm going to get out of this, but I'm going to lead him on just a little bit more. So that way, when he gets out and gets out of his debt, he might come back.

00:08:27 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 7:

I honestly think you guys are giving me too much credit. I just wanted to get laid, and I did. Why didn't you just say that, then? Say that. Don't make it about this poor guy's student loans.

00:08:41 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

I like that. That's so offensive.

00:08:42 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 7:

I also don't like that he has student loans, but I also wanted to, like, have fun and move on with my life. Like, it's not that serious. We went on one date. We weren't dating for, like, six months. Like, this is insane. Guys do this all the time, and then they just, like, ghost and move on. But the minute I do it and give you a reason that I just don't want to hang anymore, I'm the bad guy.

00:09:07 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 4:

I like your reason better if you just wanted to get laid and move on. That's not offensive to me.

00:09:12 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 7:

uh just like not to me i like her i don't like her susan what's up susan

00:09:21 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 6:

i i just forget the sex and forget the student loans but who are you talking to my girl shannon like that correct for no reason girl correct you came on here to wonder why you didn't call him back and you're talking to a radio show because you wanted to get laid and you gave some lame excuse about some student loans, girl. We all don't have daddy's

00:09:43 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

money.

00:09:44 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 7:

We wish we did. Wait, what's the question? I actually don't get the point. There is no question. It's a statement. Oh, and you said you were smart and got a full ride

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 8:

number. I think what she wanted, she basically is saying, Susan's basically saying that

00:10:00 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

that you should have just come right out and saying all i was doing is looking to get laid i have no interest in calling you back that's it yes but that's all right uh shane thank you so

00:10:18 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 2:

much for going i gave the same spiel that like guys give all the time that's true never change

00:10:24 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 4:
