It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:33 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 5:

Not getting a call back after you went on a date? What's the story? We're going to find out. Macy's on with us this morning. Macy, what's happening? How you doing? I'm good, thank you. So, Macy, what's the story? You're not getting a call back? Yeah, no, I'm not. So you guys have gone out, thought everything was good, and...

00:01:54 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 6:

Um, yeah, he took me out. We went to a bar. I really liked him. He called me a car to the bar. He was like a gentleman. And, yeah, he hasn't answered my text in a few weeks. So, yeah.

00:02:10 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to figure out what's going on. His name is Nico. Nico, what's happening?

00:02:16 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 7:

Hey.

00:02:17 - 00:02:18 | Speaker 5:

How you doing, buddy?

00:02:20 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 7:

I'm okay.

00:02:21 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I know you were talking to our producer, but I would love for you to say hello to Macy, who is on the phone and was kind of wanting to say hi to you. She said that she's had a tough time trying to get a hold of you. Hey.

00:02:36 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, hey.

00:02:39 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 5:

Her hey was so much nicer than your hey. There was not a lot of haze there going on there. Wow. What's going on, Nico? Nico, are you good with Macy, Or are you having issues with just time right now? You just don't have time on your hands to be able to do another date?

00:03:01 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 7:

Well, I mean, the issue is she had guys just, like, blowing up her phone.

00:03:06 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 1:

How do you know that?

00:03:08 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 7:

Well, I mean, I drove her home, and I let her use the CarPlay in the car. And, like, basically, I just kept seeing, like, the same names pop up, particularly one name, over and over again.

00:03:19 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 5:

okay so wait first off this is interesting you you drove her home but you let her connect her phone to your that's the gentlemanly thing to do that is give me the aux cord by the way that seems more intimate than having sex with a person no i yeah you i you let people put your car your phone in your car place more intimate than your privates um and and what what particularly bothered you about this one guy that keeps sending her messages?

00:03:50 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 7:

Well, I mean, it's just weird.

00:03:52 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 1:

But we don't know it's not a brother, dad. A best friend. And also, you said guys. And now the story changed and it's just one guy.

00:04:03 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 7:

Well, no, there was multiple guys, but there was one guy that was, like, a lot. Okay.

00:04:08 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 1:

And who is that guy, Macy?

00:04:12 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 6:

I'm a teacher and those are my students. you what you have students that text you yeah they i have students i tutor them and i let them text me about their work what's wrong so yeah what time i mean i'm a teacher because i'm a teacher during the week and then i tutor kids after school and yeah a lot of them are older so i let them text me i don't really understand why that's hard to understand.

00:04:43 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 5:

After 10? What night of the week are you guys going out? This was a Friday. So Friday night, you got students that are texting you for help?

00:04:55 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we have a close personal relationship. I don't, I don't really feel like explaining this, honestly. Honestly, that's a bigger red flag than you texting other people when you first start dating a guy. It's like, you're on a first date. It's less of a red flag to me that you're texting other guys than you are your students at 10 o'clock at night.

00:05:17 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Like, I don't know what else there is to say. I have students. I let them text me. Okay. I honestly don't feel like defending myself anymore. So I'm going to hang up.

00:05:28 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, I didn't want you to hang up. I would get it. Oh, she hung up. I get it.

00:05:33 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 5:

If that's really the story, then.

00:05:35 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 4:

But still, though, it's like we're all we're doing is asking questions. And it does seem odd that on a Friday night you're getting a bunch of texts from a bunch of your students. But also, if she was getting texts from a bunch of guys, doesn't matter. I don't know. Chelsea wants to make a comment. What's up, Chelsea? Second date update.

00:05:52 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, she would have definitely hung up after she heard this. She did that on purpose. And she 100% did that was a power play that backfired on her because that was the type of stupid thing that I used to do when I was an annoying high school pick-me-girl going on a date with some high school boy and trying to make myself look like I was in high demand. Oh, this guy won't leave me alone. Oh, this guy won't leave me alone. All these guys want me. That's exactly what she was doing. And what kind of students does she have? that she's going to be the next teacher on the news who ends up arrested for doing something inappropriate with her students. She did that on purpose, 100%.

00:06:33 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

See, I go back to what Mojo said a minute ago, though. You've gone out on one date. She might have other guys texting her. And guess what? That's okay. That's allowed. There's nothing wrong with that. Right, but you keep that to yourself on a first date.

00:06:45 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 10:

You pay attention to your date on your first date.

00:06:48 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 5:

But she was. You're not understanding. It was just coming up on the screen of the car because her phone was plugged in. It's not like she was sitting there answering them.

00:06:57 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 10:

But aren't there certain settings to where, like, you can be? So I know that.

00:07:00 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

I am not turning off my phone if I'm out with somebody for the first time. That phone is staying on. No, not that.

00:07:06 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 10:

Absolutely not. No, no. I'm talking about you don't let the car have access to your messages and your phone calls.

00:07:11 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 4:

When it connects, you can do it. But I don't know the technical aspects of that. Oh, I wouldn't even know how to do that. I think we're getting in the weeds. I do think that this, I do think it's interesting that you use that as your play to let other guys know that other guys are calling. But Natalie, what's up? It's Mojo on the Morning, second date update. What'd you want to say?

00:07:28 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, so I'm definitely someone who is guilty of texting. I guess it's a little bit different because I'm in college, but I would text my professor really late because I just wasn't aware of what time it is because I'm in college and I'm up late.

00:07:40 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

On a Friday night, though?

00:07:41 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 9:

But that's even different. College is different.

00:07:44 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And I don't know what she teaches, did she say? I don't know. What's up, John? Hi.

00:07:50 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey. I'm not saying she's lying about it being students, but I do know students don't worry about class work after 10 o'clock on a Friday night, so they're trying to get extra credit.

00:08:03 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah. I think either that is just the greatest story ever she could use as an excuse, or she's a hell of a teacher. What's going on, Dom? Hi. She teaches sex.

00:08:17 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 7:

I'm just confused on how she calls for a second day updating gets mad and hangs up.

00:08:22 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I know. That's true. She's wanting us to figure out what's going on. That's crazy. But she doesn't like what his reasoning is.

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, like, I don't get how... Like, what's that about?

00:08:34 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

00:08:35 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 7:

How are you mad? Because somebody asked a question about a bunch of people texting you while we're on a date.

00:08:42 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. That is interesting. We're trying to call her back and she's not returning any of our calls or messages.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 7:

Probably because she's embarrassed because she got caught in a lie.

00:08:52 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It is wild, though, that you let her use your CarPlay, Nico. I'll be honest with you. That is a very personal thing. I would never let anybody. I don't even like Kevin.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 7:

I think it's wilder that she actually wanted to hook up to it.

00:09:06 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's the wild part. Because it shows everything that's happening on your phone.

00:09:12 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 4:

I know. Yeah. I would honestly be more embarrassed about the last played songs. That would probably be the one thing I'd be worried about.

00:09:18 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 5:

For you, yes.
