are you not interested well uh see it seems that gerald uh he's a very nice guy he he is But Gerald's a little stuck on high school. We were talking a lot about, you know, high school, and he referenced his high school coach I don't know how many times. And really, the topic just kept coming back to high school, high school, high school, and that was so long ago. I wanted to know, you know, who is he now? I don't want to date high school Gerald.

That makes sense to me, though, because that's your that's your one thing you yeah that you have in common and you both would have a lot of things to talk about as it relates to being in high school together. That wouldn't bother me that much. He still wears his class ring. OK.

i i i don't wear it all the time i you know well it's not like i don't ever wear it i wear it every now and then but i did think it would be you know kind of to bring us back to that time i put it on did you have your letterman i was just gonna ask that

I have two of our friends that we went to high school together that reconnected and now are married and Jeff Obradovich and Jonah Polito and by the way they were they kind of saw each other like in in high school in even in grade school reconnected now i have a family together it's wild to see them together and then to know that they around their house i wonder have pictures of like when they were in school together like dances and stuff because i always thought that would have been kind of an interesting thing to to see like couples that do reconnect and if you are those couples do you find yourselves talking a ton about it like is he out of line for talking a lot about his high school because You and I, Shannon, feel like it's not that big of a deal.

It's just one date, right? Or did I miss here? It's just been one date. It was just one. Yeah, that's like, of course you're going to go back to that because that's where you guys know each other from. I get that. I get that.

But it would also be a big turnoff for me. Like, I don't even remember everybody's name from high school. So, like, when people try to reminisce with me and they're like, you remember so-and-so? And I go, no. We had a class with this guy.

We did? I don't know who that is. Have you ever been out and bumped into somebody and they say, hey, remember me from high school? You're like, I have no clue.

There is a reason why Kiki Palmer's, I am sorry to this man, but I don't know who he is, is my most quoted line because I don't remember anybody.

I just feel like this is very premature that you're ghosting him because if this was the second date or the fourth date or, you know, a few dates in and this is still all he harped on was your time in high school, I would be a little nervous. But first date, meh. That's fair.

I mean, yeah, like I said, he is a very nice guy. You know, I didn't really know him in high school. I mean, you know, we knew of each other, but I didn't know him.

So I dated my high school sweetheart. We were separated for like 12, 13 years. I moved later to California, moved back. We got, we were kindled, got married. We'll be married 20 years tomorrow. And what I will say is we never talk about high school. We never talk about people out of high school. It's a wrap on that. I mean, it's fun and we see the people out, but yeah, no.

I just guess I feel like when you go out on a first date with somebody, especially you, you tend to talk about that one thing that brought you together more than you normally would. Right. Like I think about the first time that Wes and I went out and we talked about the mutual friend that we both had. We don't talk about that guy at like hardly at all anymore. Right. But that was the one thing that we had in common.

I think. I'm getting embarrassed now. I think Gerald sounds like a hot, older man, and she should give him another chance.

anything wrong with talking about it on a first date do you guys go back and do anything like at your school like have you guys gone to a reunion together as a couple uh no we're not really

interested in seeing any of those people really because i always wondered yeah how that would be

and our friends that are in this situation, everybody gets excited about it because we all kind of remember everybody together, you know? So it is kind of neat to see people still kind of being friends with everybody. But I think Gerald seems like a nice guy. I really do. And I think that Gerald, I'm hoping that maybe Kimberly will just think that it's just one time.
