Mojo on the morning show Okay, I gotta tell you guys this story Because it's so damn funny And I want you On what we're gonna talk about I want you to be as clean as you possibly can Because we still have kids that aren't done with school for the summer yet You know, we still get some kids that listen to the show So you gotta be careful And I think that this will be harmless But Misfit Victor's son Is starting A Adult, I forget what they call it They call it something different but it's like a sex education Class And you know you learn the birds And the bees in school And they always will tell you Ahead of time because they want to make sure That the parents are understanding Yeah and sign off on the fact that they're doing this thing um and it's actually probably a good thing because there was a time where victor's son would say to him hey dad why is it that every time the number 69 is said you always laugh 69 and victor's response to that was go ask your teacher which is probably not the the greatest response to uh to say and then of course when he said oh it's just a funny thing and kind of explains it to him his son that was when he was little um but it got me talking with my wife about when i was a kid I didn't get the whole birds and the bees talk. I didn't get the whole, you know, where babies come from talk from my dad. I actually got it from my neighbors, the Smetana boys. Robbie and Michael Smetana were the ones that told me about sex. Like, they were the ones that told me, like, all the details, the dirty details. And I still remember as a kid coming home and having a conversation with my brother, Tony, who is my oldest brother. and kind of like my big brother mentor and saying, I got to ask you a question. He was like, what? Well, Robbie Smetana told me. And my brother Tony was like, all right, hold on a second. Dad, you got to have a conversation.

00:04:02 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 6:

Did they always give you information that wasn't right too? Like you think, like they didn't really actually know about sex, but they just told you things making you believe that they knew about sex?

00:04:12 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 5:

Actually, Mike, these guys knew about sex. Oh, they knew all this. Oh, you should have seen. By the way, these guys dated the hottest girls, too, and they dated them at weird ages. Even Robbie Smetana at one point was dating one of the married women in the neighborhood for a while. Robbie was the man. So these were the guys you definitely wanted to get the sex talk with. But I have to be honest with you. I don't think that I have had the talk with my kids at a right age. I had the talk with my kids really later in their lives. Like, I just had the talk recently in the last year or so with Luke where I really wanted to explain to him about, you know, not so much things that you, you know, shouldn't do, because a lot of times people will say that, but honestly, things that you should do and the appropriate things, you know, and times to do them. what sex kind of what it means to people like because sex means something different to a guy than it means to a girl um and i think that in a lot of cases boys don't understand that and they don't understand the emotional aspects of of this which by the way was a very funny thing when i was going uh uh can you guys hear me on the air every time we do a war of the roses and we get bought put in a bad spot i'm like ah ah so ask your teacher yeah i feel like you got to start having

00:05:27 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 4:

those conversations earlier now especially with social media and the internet like things are waiting i am kevin you have yeah i got a 10 year old you got a 10 year old son if you don't have these conversations then the world will teach your kids for you yeah they don't always teach

00:05:43 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

them the right way i learned everything from the internet i grew up in a uber uber religious household i never had the talk ever me neither ever nope do you know that one in five kids

00:05:53 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 5:

nowadays learn from porn. That's how they learn about it.

00:05:56 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

It was Cinemax for me at grandma's house. One of the biggest adult websites has an educational series on there because they know that kids are learning from those videos and they're trying to teach them healthy sex versus what adults watch for entertainment. Because they're not the same.

00:06:13 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 5:

Is it healthy though? Have you watched it at all?

00:06:15 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

I have watched it. It's super informative. It explains that not all adult videos are respectful and how to be a respectful partner in the bedroom and stuff. I think it's super important, but I also think it's very sad. You have to go to the website to get it? Yeah, but they know that kids are going there anyways. Megan, just for

00:06:36 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

research purposes only, what's the website?

00:06:39 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 2:

Is it too early to say it? No, you could say it. It's Pornhub. Pornhub has an educational

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 4:

series. Interesting. I've never been to that part of the site.

00:06:48 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 5:

Is that the part you have to pay for? Because I don't want to pay for anything. I'm not subscribing. All right, I want to know, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want you to call us up and tell us, aside from your teachers or your parents, who taught you? Who was it that gave you the talk? And maybe there's a funny story behind it. Hold on, Misfit Victor's on the phone with us right now. Victor, will you be a guest speaker in Christian's class for this?

00:07:16 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 3:

I hope so. No, I was actually hoping to go learn something.

00:07:21 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 5:

You know what? Can I tell you, they should do that They should make the dads and moms Have to sit in the class and listen to the whole thing Because I bet you there's a lot of dads and moms That could learn from this I'd go

00:07:32 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 3:

I have a lot of questions that I need answered

00:07:35 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Why are you talking like that? What do you mean? You're like talking like this What's going on?

00:07:43 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 5:

You got the sexy voice going on I just woke up like that

00:07:48 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay

00:07:48 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to seduce

00:07:51 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 5:

the listeners right now um so uh is uh is christian excited for this or is he embarrassed by this because i know having a dad like you and how you have talked to him over time i think he's

00:08:05 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 3:

more embarrassed about it right now to be honest with you and uh understandable i guess yeah you

00:08:11 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 5:

know we i don't know if you told him how i found out about the no oh god so victor's who was it Your cousin or something?

00:08:21 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Cousin, yeah, my uncle's son.

00:08:23 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, his cousin made him watch a movie that might be the most vile. What was it?

00:08:28 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

He didn't make me watch a movie. We would always go to his house, and they had, like, I think the place was called Video Jack back then, and they had, you know, a membership there. And we would always find movies like Weird Science, Back to School, different things like that. And there's a movie in the VCR, and it was called Taboo Part 2. So let's see what this is all about

00:08:50 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 5:

You can't watch it without watching part one though

00:08:52 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah exactly I was lost in the beginning I was like wait is this the pizza delivery guy From last time

00:09:01 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 5:

That movie by the way I just read the synopsis Of it go read that Don't even say what it is Read the synopsis of Taboo part two Or whatever it is

00:09:13 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

I think it's from like 1982 or something like that

00:09:16 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 5:

You knew exactly the year that's correct Who was it? Was it your cousin that was watching it, or was it his dad, or who was it?

00:09:23 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

I think it was my cousin, obviously, but, I mean, he wasn't home. We were just hanging out there because we lived next door, and we popped in the video, and I'm like, it was like scarred for life. I forgot. It was like crazy. It was like the craziest. And now, I just looked up the synopsis or whatever you called it a couple days ago, and I think my cousin should be in jail.

00:09:46 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 5:

it's awful it is awful uh mojo in the morning what's going on dylan

00:09:52 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

oh hi there hey who taught you dylan uh so i learned from a

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 7:

The horn VHS tape that was behind the VTR when I was, like, six. I thought it was Pinocchio. Something was growing. I mean, in a way it was.

00:10:14 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

The nose wasn't the only thing growing. That's right. So, wait, so you put it in, and next thing you know.

00:10:22 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 7:

Well, what's funny about it was I woke up early in the morning on a Saturday. I wanted to watch before anybody else woke up. Pop it in there I'm sitting in the middle of the living room Eating cereal And Yeah, I put it in Started watching it You know, I had my head talked like a dog Next thing I'm a mom's walking in Smacking me up to the head Telling me to go back to bed

00:10:41 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god Remember the days of VHS That was the thing It would just automatically start From where it's, you know It was stopped recently

00:10:51 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Be kind, rewind Yeah

00:10:53 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 3:

It was either VHS or the Remember the Scrambly channel? It was channel Oh yeah Channel 95 or whatever. Not that I watch it all the time, but it was Channel 95.

00:11:02 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you that we ruined my family TV? We were told by a buddy of ours that lived in our neighborhood that if we put magnets next to the television, it would take the squiggly lines out.

00:11:12 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 1:

Are you serious?

00:11:13 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

And we put magnets next to the television, and my brother and I are trying to get it to go, and the TV ended up screwed up because of that. Vicki, what's happening?

00:11:22 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 7:

i learned about the talk from reading all of those uh harlequin romance books that like my mom and her aunt always like exchange oh yeah yeah the bodice rippers with like the fabio on

00:11:37 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

the cover did you think your mom was like really like dirty because she was reading these books no no i don't want to think that no no but i'm saying i i remember i remember a buddy of mine's mom read those books and he his mom would go i'm going to book club and he thought for sure that his mom was like at that time having like an affair or something on dad because of the book she was reading what's up mike hey mojo how's it going good man what did where did you everybody's talking with sexy voice today you got uh good morning mike i work third chef so yeah where did

00:12:14 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 6:

you learn the uh the birds and the bees so i actually uh used the old nintendo wii internet browser back in the day oh no there you go yeah they had the internet browser on there and i was just on the wii and that was just uh where i first looked it up i think i just typed it like

00:12:34 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 5:

naked girl or something like that yeah but i know that tv had to be set up in the living room there

00:12:40 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

was a high risk factor oh no it was in the basement can you imagine your mom walks downstairs to call you for dinner and there you are with the controller in your hands i'm playing golf mom i'm playing golf yo she did she walked in and you a couple of times i uh yeah actually

00:12:55 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 6:

exiting out of the uh street on the we is pretty difficult so oh my god that was the worst thank

00:13:01 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 4:

you for the call i appreciate you at least sharing your embarrassing story with you even at this age It gets embarrassing to say Amanda

00:13:09 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

Good morning guys, how are you?

00:13:11 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 4:

We're great, what's going on, how'd you learn?

00:13:14 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 5:

I was like 8 or 9 And we had gone to the video store To rent Rainbow Bright And I remember my mom and dad put it in And walked away and the next thing I yelled is Mom, I don't think this is Rainbow Bright It was Debbie Does Dallas

00:13:26 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

You know what would have been worse? Is if you did that and it was mom and dad Could you imagine?

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that'd be horrible

00:13:36 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

How many times has that ever happened to anybody where they just wanted to see what something was and pop either the DVD or whatever it might be?

00:13:44 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 1:

Or it was labeled wrong. You know how you'd always label the videos that you could make of like school plays and dance recitals? And, you know, mom and dad went over that but didn't rewrite the label.

00:13:54 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 4:

Or the greatest story ever was one of my cousins one time was trying to tape a dirty movie because of he had the Playboy channel at home. and he taped it over their family video and then they went and put the video in to go watch it. All sitting around at Christmas time and here comes the dirty movie taped all right over the family video. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing.
