Google is a trademark of Google LLC. Mojo on the morning show. So I've been kind of teasing this along.

00:01:20 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 4:

I've been waiting for this all morning. You are such a lie.

00:01:24 - 00:01:36 | Speaker 3:

Why is it that we get so excited over people's weddings? You know, like you'll see celebrities getting married and celebrity weddings and stuff like that. We go all crazy over this one. She's our co-worker, for goodness sakes. I know.

00:01:36 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 5:

I am like boring old news. Don't you think it's because they don't happen often?

00:01:40 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know. Unless you're me. I'm just joking. She's had some weddings. And you've had wedding dresses. How many wedding... No, that is true. Shannon purchased a wedding dress and doesn't even have a date for this wedding. She's engaged now. How many wedding dresses in your lifetime have you owned?

00:01:58 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, I called off a wedding many, many moons ago. So I had that one. And then I had the one that I wore to my wedding with Andrew, my ex-husband, my husband. And now I have this one. So three.

00:02:11 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 4:

Do you get a discount? Like is it a punch card? A punch card.

00:02:15 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 5:

Will you send me a picture of it? No, I'm not sending that. It's a secret. I have to tell you how this happened though because truly, so I got engaged in January. And if you're a new listener, this is going to be my second wedding. I'm divorced and my fiance, Wes, is divorced as well. And so it's a second wedding for both. So we're not having like a traditional wedding. Our plan right now, we don't have a date or anything. It'll probably happen next year. We have some other things that are way more important than actually having a wedding right now, like blending our families and figuring out where we're going to live and all of that important stuff. But what we're probably going to do is get married just the six of us. And when I say just the six of us, I mean myself, my fiance, and then each of our two kids somewhere. I don't know where. And then just have like a big party. Like have a big celebration. Will you be wearing the dress at that? No. This dress is for like the party.

00:03:12 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 3:

For the party. For the party. So is it more of a party dress or more of a wedding?

00:03:16 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 5:

It is more of a party dress. It is white. I am obsessed with it. I have been looking at this dress online for, I haven't even tried it on. I mean, I hope to God it fits. But I've been looking at it for quite some time. And a couple of nights ago, I was looking at it and I showed Wes and I said, oh my God, it's on sale right now.

00:03:38 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Wait, is that good luck or bad luck to show?

00:03:40 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 5:

I feel like second wedding, all the traditional stuff's out the window. So he knows what it looks like and he's like, buy it right now. So I bought it. I actually think it's coming today. I hope it fits because like I said I haven't seen it in person nor have I tried it on I'm so excited about it but I have a dress but I don't have a date and my dad goes wait a second because Wes was telling my dad about this he went and hung out with my dad the day before yesterday and my dad's like you can't wear white for your second wedding and I go dad I feel like that's like an old like you said all the traditions

00:04:12 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 4:

are out the window

00:04:12 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 3:

so we were just talking to Georgia and Morgan from IDLU Morgan has a wedding dress because Morgan was going to get married and just called off. Is that right, Morgan? Did you?

00:04:24 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 5:

I sold mine when I canceled my wedding. I sold it and made the same amount of money I paid for it.

00:04:33 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 3:

You just called off? How soon before the wedding?

00:04:36 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

So the wedding was supposed to be in August. I called it off like three weeks ago. That was literally my same situation, same timeline.

00:04:43 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 3:

So what are you going to do with that wedding dress?

00:04:45 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

It comes in May.

00:04:46 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

probably won't alter it try to sell it yeah we asked why yeah mike just asked why he's you can't hear him he's going to have headphones um just wasn't right that's what i'll say really so you were you the one that

00:05:00 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Made the decision?

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

I made the decision, yeah.

00:05:01 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 7:

Got to trust your gut. Yep, absolutely.

00:05:04 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

So you're going to have a party anyway?

00:05:06 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, we can't get our deposit back, so that's the plan.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 4:

Might as well just throw one.

00:05:10 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 1:

We'll come.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 4:

Wait, are you friends with him?

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely.

00:05:15 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 4:

So you guys aren't, like, angry with each other?

00:05:17 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 5:

No, we'll probably always. It was five years, so hard to put a cold turkey on.

00:05:21 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 4:

Think about that. What happens, though, if you should hold that trust? Because by the time August comes along, you guys might start wanting to do this again. No, we're good. Are you sure? Yeah. I'm not putting anything in there. You guys are on the same size, you and Shannon. Maybe, huh? I just bought one. Show Shannon what it looks like. Maybe Shannon might have another option here. Just in case you said you haven't tried it on, it might not fit. That's true.

00:05:47 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 7:

That's true, and I can't return it. Oh, no.

00:05:49 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

Deshaun wants to make a comment about Shannon buying a wedding dress without a wedding date. What's up, Deshaun?

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 6:

Hey, hey, hey. How y'all doing? Hi, Deshaun.

00:05:58 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, buddy?

00:05:59 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Shannon, don't get mad at me when I say this. Okay. But you working on a third dress? Yeah. Look, real talk, this stuff is expensive.

00:06:11 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 7:

You should just get married in your last dress. Oh, I can't. First of all, first of all, I can't. Because when Andrew and I got married, we got married in an old car factory, the Paquette plant. And so my dress got ripped, covered in oil, and Fletch, if you remember Fletch from our show, spilled a glass of red wine down the front of it. So that thing is gone. Destroyed. Yeah. Yeah.

00:06:33 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 6:

I didn't even know that.

00:06:36 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

Wait, he's not even worried. This is funny. Deshaun's not even worried about the fact that the marriage didn't last. He's worried that the dress got spilled on. I know. He was like, you're going to give him a cap.

00:06:46 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 7:

I kept it. I have it, but it's not wearable. Deshaun's like, oh, the dress. Oh, I'm so sorry about the dress. But congratulations.

00:06:53 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 6:

I need you to tell. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, Deshaun. I appreciate that.

00:06:57 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 4:

Do you think we should be offended that we're not part of the six, that none of us are?

00:07:02 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. You guys are a family. Oh, no. Thank you.

00:07:06 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, you'll come to the party. Yeah, I'm glad I'm not. Thank you. Just invite me to the party. Yeah.

00:07:12 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

I already bought my dress for this. I did, yeah. Why are we not getting to be part of this? Deshaun, you take care of yourself, okay?

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 6:

You too. Love you guys. Love you. Love you too.
