All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. Shannon, how was your weekend? How was that concert, by the way, that you went to? Wes's favorite group or favorite artist of all time.

You went to it. Who's his others? What'd you say? You said one of his favorite artists. I'm wondering what's his others' stuff.

He's like an old school rap and R&B guy. Okay. So like that whole genre of music would be all of his faves. But he loves Maxwell. And so Maxwell was playing at Little Caesars Arena on Friday night. And I had gotten him tickets for his birthday. But I told you guys this. I had never really heard of Maxwell minus like one song that I knew. And so leading up to the show, I had been trying to listen to his music. Just because it's more fun to go to a concert when you know some of the songs and you can sing along, right? I just and Kev I know you love him too He's just not my kind of music He's not my cup of tea He's very talented and very good looking by the way But I You guys was exhausted On Friday night It was just a long week And a long day and I didn't really get to take a nap Before the show and we had dinner plans And so I Not helping my case by the way I had a glass of wine at dinner And then I had a glass of wine once we got to LCA to watch Jasmine Sullivan, who was fabulous in one of the openers. And so by the time Maxwell took the stage, I was wiped. And not to mention, really nobody stood up during the show. Most of the people sat down unless you were like right in front of the stage. And we were kind of off to the side in Section 110. Can I tell you, I love concerts like that. Oh, well. I love it. But when you're already tired, and you're sitting down, and Wes was sitting to the right of me, closer to the stage, so he was sitting, facing the stage. Okay. I was sitting next to him, but slightly behind him, and so I had my arms wrapped around his shoulders and neck, and my chin was resting on his shoulder. I got an hour and a half nap.

Oh, no.

And I don't think he knew. You pulled a mojo. don't think he knew i pulled a mojo because he anytime he kind of stirred a little bit like he was singing and swinging which also was not helping my cause because he was essentially rocking me to sleep but if he would turn around i knew well enough to like open my eyes and pretend that i was watching it but i just couldn't i felt so i i he's sleeping i don't think he knows that that happened because he's like how did you like the show i'm like i mean it was good i couldn't tell you how many songs he sang. Is Maxwell's

music like low-key, like R&B? Is it like Usher Neo-ish or something like that? He's got some slow songs, but he has some upbeat, rhythmic songs as well. Because Megan's right. I hate that I have to stand. I bought a seat for a reason, and I hate having to stand the entire show. If I was at a show like that, man, I'd take a nap too, a little siesta.

There are concerts made for dancing and just

and cheering and singing and there are other concerts made for sitting and listening and Adele is a sitting and listening kind of concert yeah I think this might have been more a sitting and listening or sitting and sleeping which was me I was so scared that the people around us were gonna out me when it was when it was done because we stood up at the end after all the lights went off and Wes was like thank you so much that was the best birthday gift that was bucket list for me and as soon as he said that was bucket list for me i'm like crap i like really should have

tried harder it's funny megan says that she pulled a mojo and it's because i've fallen asleep at shows but most infamous one was uh an avenged sevenfold uh rage against the machine show wow two of the loudest awful music my uh joe wanted to go to it my son wanted to go to it and i was like all right i'll take you it was the worst ever but i fell asleep i can't so uh did maxwell or anybody notice like did any people notice or did we get any uh anybody see i mean maxwell

couldn't see me because i wasn't that close but um i'm sure the people around us knew that i was

was it one of those sleeps but i was smart enough that when i was awake i was taking videos and so then i sent him all the videos on saturday morning he was like thank you so much was it was it one of those sleeps that was the 38 seconds i was awake one of those sleeps where

you need a chiropractor because you jarred your head back so fast like you're pretending i'm not

sleeping no because i was leaned up against him it was perfect but i always when i fall asleep in

So I took my five-year-old son to see Meghan Trainor, and we were, like, listening to you guys just now. And he's, like, in the back, and he goes, oh, yeah, I fell asleep at the Meghan Trainor concert. Because he was, like, laying out on the yard or whatever with his blanket. He was all snuggled up. That's right.

The lawn is actually a good place to go fall asleep there. Exactly. Yeah, it's a late night, too. and it was probably a contact high from the weeds. What's up, Joey? Hi.

Shannon fell asleep at a concert this weekend. What concert have you fallen asleep at?

Well, it wasn't me who fell asleep, but back in March, went to an NF concert, me and my wife and two sons, and we're having a good time about halfway through, standing up, and I look down to my left, and my one son is just curled up into a ball in the chair, and he's just asleep. and then have a concert loud as could be and you're just sleeping.

Yeah, that is actually kind of a loud concert. It's amazing that you're able to sleep at it, but you know what? It's good background noise for you. Brandy didn't fall asleep at a concert. What did you fall asleep at?

I fell asleep at a Kevin Hart show. Oh. Oh, wow.

I would be worried that he'd call you out. Right.

Well, we were way up in the back and I used to get up at 3.30, quarter to four to go to work. So even on Saturdays, I was ready for bed by 9 p.m. The show didn't.

until then, so I was just

closing off. I could see that. Did it start slow, or were you just tired fast?

No, I thought it was a good show. I was just exhausted. I mean, getting up at, you guys get up that early, and I just have to stay awake.

I get it. Yeah. No, it's brutal. Tim, where did you fall asleep?

I fell asleep at WWE WrestleMania. Oh, wow. At MetLife Stadium.

Wow. In front of like 60,000 people. Yeah, it's the big one. So you fell asleep at a WWE WrestleMania, like one of the biggest events ever. Do you think it could be the altitude from how bad the tickets were, or what do you think it was?

I was up early that morning. We went tailgating there and everything. So it was like, the event itself was like five hours.

The worst is when you fall asleep at one of your kids' musical concerts. Like if you go to your kids' stuff, and your kids are now in band, right? Or Lucy is, right?

I fell asleep at a musical in Chicago once.

Those field trips with long bus rides are exhausting. You never sleep on the bus, but you can sleep when the lights go down.

Well, my wife was the only one awake, and she just looked over at both of us, and we were both nodding off and just trying to stay awake.

I don't think I've ever watched any kid movie that I've taken them to, I'd imagine. I think I've fallen asleep all the time with my arms around them, holding them. Ari, what's up?
