see after full terms hey this is your home of war of the roses second date update in the dirty on 30 it's mojo in the morning shannon had a very forgetful moment yesterday actually so forgetful that wait till you hear what she forgot what happened so you know those days that are just

00:02:32 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 6:

so crazy with all of the stuff that you pack into your calendar so like between picking up the kids from school i had a meeting for lucy after school i had a play date at our house for smith um loose had some appointments later in the day the kids had swim practice i mean my brain was spinning about how to get everybody where they were supposed to be on time. And Bo, my one year old, I say he's a puppy. He's technically not a puppy anymore. But the puppy had an appointment to go to the groomer, which is like 20, 25 minutes from my house. But I had to try to fit it in. Like he had an actual appointment, but I still had to kind of finagle it into everything else that was going on in the day. So I'm trying to piece together how I'm going to do this as I make the drive to the groomer and I get about four minutes from the groomer's house and I realize I forgot the damn dog. I forgot the dog that was going to get groomed. So I had to text her and say, I'm literally about to turn down your street and now I have to go all the way back home, get the actual dog and then come all the way back.

00:03:37 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 2:

Who let the dogs out? I felt like I love the Bahamut. Have you heard?

00:03:49 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. How did you forget? Where was he? Was he just like at the door waiting?

00:03:55 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

The funny thing is, Kev, because when I leave the house, I put him in his crate. So I had like given him a treat and put him in his crate and then got in the car and like my brain was just not working.

00:04:09 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 5:

You know what it was? It's called the routine. You're so used to what your routine is when you leave the house, not realizing the routine is changed up because you're taking part of your routine with you. By the way, I have heard of people that have forgotten their children or forgot to pick up their children. And I'm not talking about, and listen, I don't want to get into because I know it's child endangerment, but the people who just like leave the kid in the backseat of the car, you know what I mean? Like, you hear those stories where, well, no, I've heard people that in hot weather and stuff that are horrible. Those are tragic. Like, we want the funny. Let's give me the funny.

00:04:43 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 6:

It's just, it's 6 o'clock.

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Anybody ever forget? Because I remember Mike told the story one time on the air. Mike told the story about forgetting to pick up his kids. And Kev, I think you've done that too, right? Didn't you have one where you had Josiah hanging out in the office? Yeah, I mean, I'm on both sides. I've left my child in the car.

00:05:00 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes when you go into the grocery store, it's just easier to crack a window and leave them in there as opposed to trying to wake them up and try to get them to go. I'm just being honest with you. By the way, text and calls for Kevin on that one to iHeartRadio at- You've never left your kids in a car for a quick little story run? As far as Chelsea knows, no, but it's running into 7-Eleven. I'm going in there just to grab a couple of things. It's a lot easier. Thank you. Okay. Go ahead. Okay, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:05:34 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 4:

He did get groomed. He looks real cute today. Okay.

00:05:36 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

Somebody check and see if Mercury's in retrograde for Shannon on this one here. Precious, what's happening?

00:05:42 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Rise and shine.

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 1:

Rise and shine, yes. What's happening?

00:05:47 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so I had a kid. Well, she's still here, but she's 17 now. I had to take her, get her from preschool, then take her to the daycare. So I drove to the daycare, and I pulled up and looked in the back seat. And I forgot the kid at preschool. Oh, no.

00:06:05 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

Wait, luckily the kid was with somebody at daycare, right? Somebody was watching?

00:06:12 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 5:

She was at preschool.

00:06:14 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Her preschool? Yeah.

00:06:15 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

I forgot. She didn't care. She doesn't know. Yeah. But that mom guilt will creep right up on you. That's the thing.

00:06:22 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

You can't let them know. Because if you ever let them know, it then becomes something that they will bring up until the day you die. You know what I mean?

00:06:31 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, but she forgets homework all the time.

00:06:35 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 1:

How old is the kid nowadays, Precious?

00:06:38 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

She's 17. I just dropped her off at dance practice at 5.30 in the morning. Yeah.

00:06:43 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 1:

You should have left her at preschool 17 years ago. We love you. Take care of yourself. 844-MOJO-LIVE, text 95500. What's the most forgetful thing that you've ever done? And I've done the go Kroger shop and forgot my groceries in the store. Like, I literally did a whole thing. You stop one time on your way out to go look at something. Go walk to my car. I'm driving home. I'm like, oh, my God, I didn't put the groceries in the car. There they are all sitting in the plastic bag, you know, waiting for me to go enjoy them. What's going on, Brooklyn?

00:07:18 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

So I'm a cheerleader, and I was going to one of my games one day. I forgot my whole entire cheer uniform in my closet at home.

00:07:28 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Yep, you might need that. How do you explain that to your cheer coach? Because I heard cheer coaches are nuts.

00:07:34 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, my cheer coaches don't like me already. So I had to walk up to them and tell them that my mom was going to have to bring it because it was at my house.

00:07:43 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's great. By the way, Joey Carballo, my son, the Joe Show, gets constantly razzed by Jeff Zaqua, who was his coach back in Alpha Wolf days. Do you remember Alpha Wolf? And Joe came to a game with no shoes on. Jeff made him play in his socks. He did. The referees didn't want to let him play, and Jeff's like, he's got to learn.

00:08:05 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

00:08:06 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, completely forgot his shoes. It was either that or in his boots that he wore to the game. Or bench him. Remember those moon boots? Remember those? Madonna just had those on.

00:08:17 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

So ugly.

00:08:18 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

They were so bad. But when we were kids, we loved those things. A couple of texters here. Shannon, don't feel bad. I left my dog, just like you did, at Doggy Daycare. I bet you the people at Doggy Daycare aren't happy about that one. Another couple of texters here. Can't talk to you guys this morning. I'm working on the line, and it's way too loud here. Shout out, by the way, to the people working on the line. Thank you. She says that she went all the way to work and forgot the uniform that they're supposed to be wearing for their job. What's up, Jessica? How you doing?

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good. How are you guys?

00:08:54 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

We're doing okay. Shannon, not so much. But what do you have to say?

00:08:59 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 4:

So when I was younger, there was seven of us kids total. My parents took us to Chuck E. Cheese, and when we left, we had left one of the girls behind. Oh, no. We were already on the highway back home before we had figured out that we were short a child.

00:09:16 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what do the Chuck E. Cheese people do at that point if there's a kid there?

00:09:19 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 4:

um they just waited they didn't call or anything because she was so young she didn't know a phone number to call so they just kind of had her waiting for one of us like for my parents to

00:09:29 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 1:

show up to come get her you know what extra like tickets yeah if you're going to be left anywhere chuck e cheese's would be the place that i want to be left i want i want to know why i was that child though you know what we know right christina what's up good morning good morning what's going

00:09:45 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

on not a lot so my trademark move which has happened multiple times is to pay for gas and

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

then leave you go in and prepay and then take off huh oh yeah i pay and i get back in the car and

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

i'm out there and

00:10:00 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 8:

then the dinger goes off again and i'm like gosh darn it that's classic uh becca what's up hi hi good morning everyone good morning what's going on so i drove to work last week without my car keys make it make sense i i don't even know how i made it it's 22 miles i started my car like with my my keyless bob and then i went inside i got my kids i went back out to my car and I got to work and I didn't have my purse or my car keys. My lovely mom. My mom had to come back to my house, give my keys, bring them.

00:10:39 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 5:

I thought your car wouldn't go into gear, but I guess it does, huh? What kind of car is that?

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, it's a blazer.

00:10:45 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

I always wondered how that would happen.

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, so I guess my car can get stolen now. Hooray!

00:10:52 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 6:

By the way, you do have a child. I could hear the child go, la, la, la, la. Don't forget that child.

00:10:57 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 8:

I will not forget them. There might be safe and secure.

00:11:01 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 6:

That's great. Jason, I think everybody's done this at least once. What's going on?

00:11:07 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 7:

How's it going? Good. Yeah. Yeah, I was on my phone talking to somebody, getting ready to leave to go meet up with them, explaining to them how I couldn't leave until I found my phone as I was talking on it. No.

00:11:21 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

That is the worst. Isn't that?

00:11:24 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 6:

You know what? That actually is one of those things where it's like, I can't find my sunglasses. They're on the top of your head, you know? What's up? Last one here. Megan, hi.

00:11:34 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 9:

Hi. I got all the way to work one morning, worked a few hours, and realized I didn't have my bra on.

00:11:41 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Whoa. I don't see that. Don't worry about that.

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 9:

My husband was home, thankfully, and actually came up and brought it to me.

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 6:

Oh, he'd probably love that. By the way, free the nipple. Let's just free it. Come on.

00:11:53 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Boop, boop, boop, boop.

00:11:55 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. All right. By the way, your husband, can you imagine that? That's like a guy going out to buy you, you know, tampons and stuff. I got to bring a bra to work. Like, did he put it in a bag or something when he came into your – Yeah. Did he?

00:12:07 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, he brought it in a grocery bag.

00:12:10 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 6:

I would have done the opposite. I would have carried it and handed it up so everybody knew. Take care. Have the best day.

00:12:18 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:
