Kevin's like really pissed at Shannon for ruining something that was really good to him. We all witnessed it in the hallway. What was the story?

00:02:16 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 7:

Man, so we were, forgot what was going on. We were all talking about places to go eat and someone was asking for a suggestion. And people gave their suggestions and some restaurants I knew, some restaurants I didn't. And there has been a place that I have been to for years, like over a decade, I've been to this place and have had a phenomenal, phenomenal experience every single time that I've gone there, whether it was drinks, whether it was early drinks like mimosa vibe, good omelet, a little burger at the end of the night. Like every time I've gone, it has been a great experience. So I shout out the place. And within three seconds, like as soon as I say the last syllable in the title, which I won't say, Shannon says, oh, my God, I hate that place. Don't go there. No, no, don't go there. And now my experience is forever ruined because. What was her reasoning for saying don't go to that place?

00:03:13 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 8:

I didn't say I hate that place. I said don't go there because.

00:03:18 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 6:

Because I love it.

00:03:19 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 8:

No. no because and this was years ago that i witnessed this and i still have not gone back ever and nor will i i was there with a bunch of friends and this is one of those places where you can be standing at the bar having a drink and you can see into the kitchen okay and so i was standing there drinking and there was a guy who was cooking over a grill he was cooking hamburgers and the sweat was pouring off of his forehead onto the burgers on the grill gross and i was i even told my friends that night i was like everybody finish your drinks we are leaving we are nobody is eating here because and look i know disgusting things happen at every single restaurant i don't care if it's cheap or really fancy but when you see it with your own eyes you can't unsee it and so now anytime somebody says the name of that restaurant i'm like don't go there it was the sweaty chef in the back that's what it was like a constant drip onto the beef patties he would love um but it added

00:04:33 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 6:

salt and seasoning to it i mean you know what i mean that was i was like i don't care if you ordered we're going i you don't think that the the places that we don't see those people have

00:04:45 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 8:

things going on hence my comment i know this happens at every restaurant but when you say that on the dude's favorite place because it comes up involuntarily mike when someone says the name of this restaurant you can't say that don't do it okay okay i'll say this too and i Followed it up.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

with this comment there is a pizza chain which i won't say that i love to death but there is one location it's on royal oak or it's on woodward in royal oak that i will not go to and there are a lot so you can't figure this out because one time i was driving by and i was stopped in traffic right there and there was an employee from this pizza chain and he had his hand down

00:05:20 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 2:

his butt while he was talking on the phone and i thought i know he probably doesn't even work

00:05:24 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 6:

there anymore but i can't go back tasty mojo can i can i um by the way who who doesn't love the taste of butt right i mean can i two flavors of crust can i tell you that this does affect me when i go to a restaurant and the person from the kitchen goes into the bathroom and as soon as i see them not that they didn't wash their hands because some of them do and some of them don't i don't want to see them pooping like i don't want to see them going to the bathroom and i know they do that's why i think restaurants should have their own employee restroom in the back because you should never see the the the kitchen chef cooking and uh going duty in the same meal so even if he washes his hands you're judging on how long

00:06:17 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

How good did you scrub under your fingernail?

00:06:19 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 6:

All right, so 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who ruined it for you? Who was the person that ruined it for you? Because Kev's favorite restaurant just got ruined by Shannon. And when you did that, Shannon, I thought to myself, there ain't no way Kev's ever going to be able to go back to this place. Oh, I'm for sure going back. You are? Without a doubt. Are you going to wipe the sweat off of the chef as you walk in? I'm going to just pray over it like I do. Excuse me, sir. Can I get you a headband like Cliff Robinson used to wear when he played for the Pistons? What's going on, Juliana?

00:06:52 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. So just recently, a friend and I went to go try this new taco place by her house. And I went to the bathroom, and one of the lady cooks was in there. She came out of the stall with gloves still on her hands, bypassed the sink, and went right out the door. did you stay and eat oh i didn't eat we bought our food because we felt bad but i didn't eat

00:07:21 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 6:

yeah you can't go in and not wash your hands unless was there a sometimes they have sinks in like the handicap stall was there a sink in there maybe she washed um she wasn't in a

00:07:33 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 5:

handicap stall oh no that's awful uh what's up kayla hey um so it's not like a bad experience that i've seen but i used to work on a restaurant i won't obviously mean the restaurant but um like i know what um when servers get mad they'll do crazy things like i had a girl um put ice between like her bosoms i guess she spit in their cup served in their their pop with a smile like it's crazy what people will do

00:08:02 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 6:

when you're not looking she put ice in her bosoms what was was the ice thing going back into a drink or something or what was she doing she was trying to cool herself down

00:08:11 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Well, she scooped it, like, for the drink because the customer was being really rude to her. Yeah. Then put those there first.

00:08:19 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 6:

You know what I hate? I hate when you go to a bar and the waiter or the bartender, it digs into the ice, and you know they take the cup and they dig their cup into it, and they dig it, and their hands are touching the ice, too.

00:08:33 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, you're not supposed to do it, right? Yeah. I'm going to be upset about it. Oh, thank you. Yeah, thank you.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 6:

We appreciate you.

00:08:45 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

00:08:46 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 6:

You wouldn't be upset by the bosoms in the ice. I still drink it. I mean, that one isn't the worst one in the world. Wait, what was the sign? Where is it at? What was the saying that they used to say all the time that a girl was so fine that you would do what? Drink her bath water. Drink her bath water. Drink her ice on her boobie water. Her boob water. What's up, Landon?

00:09:04 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

hey i actually had a zip tie baked into my pizza at a restaurant

00:09:10 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 6:

a zip tie they left it inside there yeah yeah it was insane yeah i'm one of those people like if i find a hair in my food i just take the hair out like i'm not gonna assume that they're okay you don't think that a hair one hair that's the cleanest thing probably that touched that food well i mean maybe you just don't want hair in your food i'm just not gonna go back you don't

00:09:33 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't matter if you give me the free food or not. I'm not finishing it, and I'm not going to have it.

00:09:36 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 6:

I would rather see them without hairnets. I think hairnets, to me, just remind me of middle school cafeteria. What's up, Chris? How you doing?

00:09:45 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Morning. I explained to the call screener, I picked up a carryout at a local, I'm not going to mention the name, a local family diner. And in fact, I know the rest.

00:10:00 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 3:

I saw my daughter used to work there. It's a very clean restaurant. But I brought the carry-out container home. I opened it up on my kitchen counter, and a live roach jumped up. Oh, that's awful. Shut up. I would never go back. A live roach? I mean, instinct, automatically, I smacked it with my hand because I did not want that thing in my house. Yeah. I called down to the owner, and I told him about it. He was so apologetic. He said, you know, and I know they keep a clean restaurant, But he said we get all of our stuff from Eastern Market, all of our carry-out containers, all of our supplies. They could have come from anywhere. And I know they exist everywhere. I just don't need to see them.

00:10:40 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yay, that's where we're moving.

00:10:41 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I'm the first thing I heard, too. I'm telling you, though, that you do not want to see roaches or rodents or any of that stuff. That right there will get me out of there.

00:10:54 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 7:

Have you heard about Megan's new pet? Oh, my God, there's a rat stalking me in Detroit. Really?

00:10:58 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 8:

It stalks me, and it has, just like the pigeons, has no fear of people and will run at me. It is the scariest thing.

00:11:06 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 7:

I see it a couple of times a week, and my brother and I do this thing on FaceTime. When I'm walking downtown in this specific street where I always see it, we go, rat watch. And we turn the camera, and we look for the rat.

00:11:20 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 4:

Somebody just was on the phone line, and they got disconnected. You heard the guy hung up there a second ago. He said that he saw the employee tasting the person's food that he was cooking at the time with a spoon, tasting it, and then putting the spoon back in there to stir the stuff. Is that gross? And then another person that was on there, and they just hung up. Why are those people hanging up? Don't hang up. The person who had an employee dropped a bucket of ranch, and the manager of the restaurant made him put it all back in the bucket and use it. Bro, are you serious? And then, Derek, we were talking about the bartenders that put their arms in the ice bin. What did you see? You're being voice disguised. Hello? Yeah.

00:12:02 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I had worked at a pizza restaurant for about two years where all the seasonings and all the tomato paste was mixed by your arm, like up to about tricep.

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 4:

I worked in a restaurant. That's how we did it, too.

00:12:19 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 1:

Yes. What?

00:12:20 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 4:

You would dip your arm into it and stir it like a spoon. Yeah.

00:12:24 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 7:

What?

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

That's how they would do it.

00:12:25 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 7:

You wash your arm beforehand.

00:12:27 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:12:27 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 8:

I don't care. But a chef is cooking with his hands, and his hands are dirtier than the rest of his arm.

00:12:33 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What? You would dip your arm in there and use it as a ladle, basically, to stir.

00:12:38 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 8:

When you go to fancy Italian restaurants, you make their pastas in-house. It's all on their arms. Yeah. It's draped across their arms. It's the same thing.

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

God.

00:12:46 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy, isn't it? And you guys are worried about a hair in a salad or something.

00:12:50 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:12:52 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:12:52 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the hair out.

00:12:53 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, all right. Well, you know what? If you don't like it, then guess what? Eat at home. You're right?

00:13:01 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 3:

I guess that's what we're going to do. No, because my arms are probably dirty.

00:13:05 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 6:
