Call us. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:42 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 9:

Mojo in the Morning. shannon um you are secretly doing something to your fiance that he's gonna find out about on the radio right now or does he know well he's out of town oh okay so he's not talking about this so

00:03:00 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 5:

don't anybody share this with them okay okay so tell him so wes's house is very cute i give him so many props he he got divorced um several years before i did and so he he has a house that he has made very comfortable for himself and his two kids there are some things in there that drive me a little crazy one of them being the glade plugins that he loves you guys they smell so bad yeah i

00:03:28 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 9:

can't find one that i actually would want my house to smell they just like megan you know because you

00:03:33 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 5:

made that noise what scent what a scent is i don't even know because i've never seen the box for him he just has them plugged in everywhere it's like a maybe like a sea breezy type of scent yeah i

00:03:44 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 6:

don't know what it is about most men who think that that's acceptable it is not acceptable they were taught we have to make our house smell good and candles and plugins are the way to do it but they won't spend money and they're not even that expensive to get like the good stuff instead they go as cheap as possible and it smells worse than if you didn't have anything at all it smells so

00:04:06 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 5:

bad combine that with the scented trash bags that he gets and i'm like i just so i felt at first i felt bad saying this is making your house smell super stinky so i every time i would go to target i would just buy a candle and bring it to his house and so he had like all these nice can well then that backfired on me because then his house smelled like the good target candles mixed with the awful Seabreezy Glade plug-ins. So I have now taken to hiding the Glade plug-ins when I go to his house.

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 9:

But you have not said to him, I don't think they smell good?

00:04:43 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 5:

No, I have said that to him. But he still has them. But it's so funny because he, I will hide them. He will go out and buy more and plug them in. And for a while he acknowledged.

00:04:54 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 9:

What are you going to do when you guys move in together? Ban him from buying Glade plug-ins. Never let him plug them in.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

It's so funny you say that, too, because now that we're starting to talk about, okay, you know, we're going to obviously blend our families. And the plan, at least right now, that we've talked about is he is going to be moving into my home, which will become our home. And so if I am at his house, I'm like, that lamp right there isn't coming.

00:05:22 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what does he get to come with him? Just him and his kids?

00:05:26 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 3:

Just doing your children. He actually has really good taste. I really love his couch What does he bring in? Come on But the couch The couch himself The kids and his clothes

00:05:37 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

She's going to be standing at that door With the moving truck Keep it, got it, lose it

00:05:45 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 4:

By the way, there's going to be a great estate sale At Wes's house Glade plugins for all Alright, question for you What did you have to get rid of from your significant other because you couldn't stand it. Like when you guys first got together and you guys decided that you were going to either get one place together or you're going to marry each other or whatever. What was it that you didn't like? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 because you never think about this. You think about furniture and you think about stuff like that but you don't think about Glade plugins what kind of laundry detergent do they use? Scented trash bags. Scented trash bags.

00:06:26 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 1:

All my stuff that Meg doesn't like graduates down to the basement, which I think is purgatory till she realizes I don't remember it, and then she's going to get rid of it. She'll go buy something new, and I'll go, where's that pan I wanted? She's like, well, I already had one, so I put that one down the basement in case we need a spare. So she's sneaking my cleaning supplies go down the basement.

00:06:48 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:

The basement, aka, it's already gone. It's probably at Salvation Army. Yeah, it's gone. What's going on, Kim?

00:06:54 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Yeah, so the upgrade plug-ins can be really, really, really bad for animals. So you guys have pets, right? Yes. There's your excuse. It can cause, like, asthmatic issues in animals, and, like, there's warnings about it.

00:07:09 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

Is there something that we can cite on that one? Like, is there a study or something? Google it. Google it. It's always a good one. Study in Tim. Yeah. Mojo in the morning, hi, what's happening?

00:07:21 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

00:07:22 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 4:

How you doing? What did you have to get rid of?

00:07:24 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 5:

um i had to get rid of two things i had a stay stay puff marshmallow man that i used to keep on my mantle that my girlfriend did not like and i also have a beer horn that my dad got me that i used to carry around at the house i wear on my neck and my uh girlfriend absolutely hates it

00:07:44 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

and i had to get rid of that as well did she tell you to get rid of it or did she just relocate them and say it doesn't match the decor?

00:07:52 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, I moved the Stay Puft Marshmallow to my office. I had this really cool statue I used to keep above my fireplace. And then the beer horn, I actually put that in my office too, but I actually brought that home recently. She thought I threw it away, but I actually kept it.

00:08:10 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

It reappeared.

00:08:12 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 5:

It reappeared. She thinks it's the most embarrassing thing, but I love it.

00:08:16 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Ian? How you doing?

00:08:18 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

It's the weirdest, Mojo. So my mother and my father had, because my father, well, this was before the divorce, a squirrel table that was about three feet high, real slim, two dead squirrels that had been whatever it's called.

00:08:35 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Taxidermy.

00:08:36 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Yep, there you go. And when I got married, my dad said, do you want this? And I asked my wife, and she was so game for it. And apparently it had gone through all of my brothers And my wife was the coolest one And so she ended up We still have it sitting next to us We're moving into a trailer in a month It'll stay with us

00:08:56 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

So what are these two squirrels doing Stuffed on the table They just chilling?

00:09:02 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're just crawling up So it's like a real slim side table And they're crawling up one thick log of wood

00:09:09 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:

I think that's a talking piece right there What's up, Laura?

00:09:14 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 6:

Hi When my boyfriend and I moved in together, he had to get rid of anything that had the cinnamon scent to it. So any apple cinnamon, wax mouth, or Glade plug-ins, or anything like that, everything cinnamon.

00:09:32 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 4:

He was a cinnamon guy. He liked cinnamon.

00:09:34 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I can't do it. It gives me a migraine, and it makes my stomach upset.

00:09:39 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. So he obviously wasn't wearing cinnamon the first night you guys met.

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hell no.

00:09:45 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 4:

Stacy, what did you have to ditch?

00:09:49 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 5:

Well, before he was my husband His mattress, because it was a very expensive mattress And a TV And some of his clothes

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that was the only stuff you let him move in with?

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

That was it

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so a mattress, you liked the mattress, they were fine with that, even though he might have been with other girls on that mattress?

00:10:06 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, it was expensive, and I'll take it. You'll take it. Okay.

00:10:09 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

All right. Yeah. And Misfit Nicole, what's going on? What did you have to get rid of, of that good-looking guy you call your husband?

00:10:18 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning. What's up? So, Ed used to wear this hideous Nautica jacket that he thought was cool. Like, I thought it was a varsity jacket, and it was horrible. So, like, I got rid of it. Like, if you guys ever see, you remember Seinfeld? You guys Seinfeld people?

00:10:36 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I like Seinfeld.

00:10:38 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

You remember, it was an episode where Putty kept wearing the same jacket that he thought was cool. That was it. And I, like, totally got rid of it. And he still asks me about it to this day. Like, it's flying. I'm like, dude, that's bitch. It's some homeless man right now.

00:10:53 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm wearing it. I'm wearing it.

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

I was like, it was a good wheel years ago.

00:10:57 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

thanks nicole we'll talk to you later bye uh what did your husband olivia have to get rid of

00:11:05 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 10:

so my boyfriend is obsessed with like the bar look he loves bars that have the neon signs so he had two huge beer neon glow-up signs in our kitchen for a year oh no even i know that's wrong

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 4:

How old is he, though? Because it could be an age thing.

00:11:27 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 10:

He was 25.

00:11:28 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he's 20. So 25 years old, you're still in that phase.

00:11:32 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 12:

Olivia, did you give him, like, a man cave? Like, usually you give your man one little corner of the room of the house, and that's where all that stuff has to gravitate towards.

00:11:39 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 8:

Those would look great in the garage.

00:11:41 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 12:

Yeah, yeah. That's a great line.

00:11:43 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Cindy, your husband made you get rid of things. Usually it's the women that get to bring whatever they want.

00:11:49 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 9:

He came in and started rearranging my stuff And telling me which pictures needed to go And the couch over there And I mean, it was hilarious

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 4:

What did he get rid of that you were upset about?

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 9:

There was a couple pictures that he said had to go They didn't match anything

00:12:07 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, what does Wes not like of yours?

00:12:11 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's a good question I gotta ask him

00:12:13 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on

00:12:14 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 8:

You know, he's never really said anything Really? Yeah Look at this crazy woman

00:12:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 11:

You think he's going to point it out to her?

00:12:21 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 8:

The clutter drives him, like all the kids stuff, but that's just like he, you know.

00:12:25 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, he's on line number 10 right now, Wes. Thanks for the call, Cindy. Have a great day.

00:12:32 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 13:
