00:01:41 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 2:

oh yeah it's like smell and taste and it's not covid like where you lose it completely no you just can't smell as as good as you used to yeah i really can't smell much at all yes exactly so

00:01:52 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 5:

So Smith, my five-year-old, is obsessed with pickles. And for Christmas, our fabulous boss, Tony, got me a Costco membership. I am obsessed with Costco. So we were at Costco a couple of days ago, and Smith wanted to buy, have you seen them, those huge Costco-sized jars of pickles. And it was two jars together. So over the weekend, Smith wanted some pickles to snack on. So I'm trying to get this dang jar open. And it was so big, I couldn't even really wrap my hands around it. So when I finally cracked the lid open, the juice ended up spilling all over the counter, all over the floor, and apparently down the front of the very thick sweater that I was wearing, but I missed that part. So I clean up the floor, I clean up the counter, I get him his pickles. We head to a birthday party for a little boy in his class, okay, at a gymnastics place. So Smith's off playing and I'm, you know, standing with two or three moms and we're just talking or whatever. And I see one of the moms make this face and she goes, do you guys smell pickles? Something smells like pickles. I couldn't even say anything. I realized it was me. I had, I was covered in pickle juice and didn't realize it, didn't change my shirt. And she kept going, something smells like pickles. Both of these moms I was talking to, I'm like, oh yeah. Yep, that's me. Just walked around all day smelling like pickles. Nobody said anything to me.

00:03:19 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 2:

You could earn a nickname that way that'll stick for a long time. It could be worse.

00:03:23 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 5:

No, it could be way worse, for sure. Oh, yeah.

00:03:25 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 2:

You could be smelling like something else that would be not so good.

00:03:28 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 5:

But still, I mean, I was trying to think. I'm like, I've been to a couple of places this morning already.

00:03:32 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:03:32 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 5:

And I probably reeked, hugged a few listeners, said hello to some people, and people were probably like, why does she smell so bad?

00:03:39 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 2:

You know what this is like? This is like when people actually have something on them and people don't tell them. Like is it bad to tell somebody When they smell like something Because you know how you always say A true friend is somebody that will tell you That you have like something in your teeth

00:03:53 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 5:

Right

00:03:53 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Is a true friend somebody that will tell you

00:03:56 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 5:

Well I don't really I mean like I'm not friends I don't know these moms that well That was their way of saying it Yeah it's you

00:04:02 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Does anybody have pickles? But if you're good friends with somebody They would say Jesus what the hell You smell like pickles Why do you smell like pickles? Like what's that all about? I will say this I have a friend of mine Johnny Who eats raw garlic Like for health purposes? He thinks it's health purposes He does it Because he never wants to get laid Ever again in his life Yeah That'll come out of your pores And then he'll tell me This is the thing He'll tell me the story He's a great looking guy And he does You know Tinder And he does Hinge And all that stuff And he'll tell me He'll go I went on a date with this girl She's not calling me back I go well you know why Is he not calling you back? You smell like an Italian restaurant, my friend. Like, seriously. He smells so bad like garlic, it comes out of his pores. And it'll stay that way for weeks after. I mean, for days at least. And the worst.

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, but it's so worth it. That garlic sauce from Mezza. We talk about this all the time.

00:04:59 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the pastry sauce. It's the best thing in the whole entire world. Did you guys ever eat it in a Middle Eastern restaurant? They had that white stuff that you dipped your kebab in. Yeah, the garlic. The problem with that stuff is that you-

00:05:10 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 5:

You smell like it for days. It literally comes out of your brain.

00:05:12 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 2:

And honestly, it messes your taste buds up for a couple of days, too. Everything you taste feels like that. Yeah?

00:05:18 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

That food is usually more satisfying than people anyway, so- You know what, Megan? You're right. I'll take the food.

00:05:25 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 texas 95500 um you ever step in your dog's poop or somebody else's dog's poop and you don't realize and you're like the whole day you're going and then you look at the bottom of your shoe and you got it in your boots i picked doubling up and

00:05:46 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

carried him and then i didn't realize i went through the whole store and shopping through the mall and realized i had a stripe down my arm because his butthole wasn't exactly clean oh my god and i didn't notice when i was picking him up and putting him back up oh my and then did you did you walked around all day with a stripe did you sniff it no i didn't have to sniff it i knew what it was by looking at it they call that the hershey kiss oh god it was so gross yeah don't

00:06:13 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

think by the way parents haven't had that happen right you change your kid's diaper and it gets on

00:06:17 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 3:

you uh what's up carol hi hey um shannon those moms at the birthday party probably didn't want to make you self-conscious because i always say that if someone can't change something in 30 seconds or less you don't want to bring it up yeah well and i couldn't change i mean that was

00:06:33 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

all i was wearing so totally thank you for the call appreciate it um somebody called and said that they smelled like their cat's poop. Do cat's poop smell? I've never known that cat's poop smells.

00:06:49 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, poop smells. The kitty litter usually masks it. Really?

00:06:54 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

For some reason, I always thought it was the pee. Rachel, you smelled like your cat's doody?

00:07:01 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, my morning actually started off with my stepdaughter being sweet and watching my two-year-old daughter. She gave her a bath. and she had diarrhea in the bathtub oh that's fun so she came to she came to wake me up and the bathtub was just full of water and her poop then later we went to go shopping at walmart to go get fabric and the three of us are standing at the fabric counter and i look at my stepdad i'm like do you smell that and she's like yeah it smells like poop and i checked my daughter's diaper she was fine there was poop on the floor in front of the fabric counter at walmart oh my gosh wait where did that come from i i don't know i mean i had been track i was standing there like you know kind of walking in circles in front of the counter just tracking it absolutely everywhere

00:07:49 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 2:

wait did did somebody just randomly poop in the in the aisle i mean it was walmart so

00:07:56 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

oh god yeah so then we finished that i go i go wash my shoe in the bathroom luckily with just little flats. Went home, ended up throwing those away. Then we walked in the front door of our house, and our cat had gone to the bathroom on the carpet right in front of the door, and then I stepped in that. Oh, God. Yes, it was an awful lie,

00:08:22 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

to say the least. You need a new pair of shoes. No, you need a new day. A new day.

00:08:27 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 5:

I'm just really trying to figure out the poop in the floor at Walmart. How did that

00:08:31 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

happen? Oh, I bet you that that happens a lot. I bet you that

00:08:35 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:

So are you not wearing pants? Yeah, is it falling down like you're loose pants?

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

00:08:44 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just so many questions.

00:08:46 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, that website and Instagram, people of Walmart, they should actually have the people that work at Walmart tell all the stories instead of just the people of Walmart. I bet you there's more poop stories with people that work at Walmart just randomly having to clean up kind of stuff, Or people that like change their child and just leave the diaper just sitting right there in the middle of the aisle.
