Hey there, I'm Kat. I'm a college athlete. I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, which caused back pain and stiffness every day. With Cosentix, I'm able to stay active.

Mojo in the Morning Show. What do you do when you're Shannon? What happened last night?

00:01:52 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 6:

So it was such a beautiful night. Like we have to take advantage of this crazy weather, right? And so I had said to Wes, I'm like, let's go out to eat and let's try to go somewhere where there's a patio so we can sit outside and, you know, just enjoy the 80 degree temperature that we're getting right now. And we have our two older kids with us this week. So it was four of us that decided to go out. And so we're driving and I kind of had a restaurant in mind. So we pull up and the patio was totally crowded. So I'm like, oh, that's fine. And now I have my heart set on like one specific menu item, you know. So we walk inside and I see a table of people, a group of people that I don't care to be around for various reasons. They are not nice people. And so I looked at him and I was like, go back, go back, go back, go back, go back. And we turned around and walked right out and didn't say anything to anybody. and got in the car and went to another restaurant. Oh, my gosh. You knew that garbage truck like beep. It was. It was. And a lot of times, if I see somebody that I'm like, oh, you know, it wouldn't bother me per se, especially if I really wanted to go to a certain place. You know, sometimes you're in those moods where you're like, I don't feel like being around negativity today. So that was last night. I was like, nope, and we went somewhere else,

00:03:21 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 5:

which wasn't as good. Was Wes and his kids Were like what the F Were they understanding

00:03:29 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 6:

Wes understood his kids Don't have any idea who these people are Because I have to tell you

00:03:35 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 5:

That I've had that happen before With people where you go somewhere And they're like oh my god my ex is there See like that doesn't bother me I don't want to go in this way I don't want to see my boss I'm like but I want the burger and fries

00:03:49 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 6:

I know trust me I was so mad especially after we ended up eating at the place we did which i'm also not going to say and i was

00:03:57 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 5:

like that sucked i don't care i don't care how bad how bad these people are food is more important than these people i'd eat it right in front of them but i wonder if people because we didn't

00:04:07 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 6:

ask for a wait time like i did not even talk to the whole nothing yeah we literally walked in and

00:04:12 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 5:

walked literally backwards right back out what do you do what do you do if you walk into a place and when you walk in you see somebody that's either like your ex or somebody that you blew off recently or a client that you don't like or a co-worker you don't want to sit next to what do you do when that happens to you we all know what you do you confront them i just go say hi to walk up and go hey hey although i will say this i'm so happy i wasn't

00:04:45 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 6:

with you because I feel like that's you that's exactly what you would have done I would have

00:04:49 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 5:

been your secret service I'd have had one ear all right Shannon keep walking keep walking keep walking I would have kept you from getting shot in the ear it is satisfying to watch from an

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

outsider perspective you can

00:05:00 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 2:

front somebody i'm like oh he really gives no blame because my my thing is i feel like as uncomfortable as i am with them there i'm gonna make them equally as uncomfortable i'll walk up and go hey what's going on um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 have you ever had this happen to you where you walked in anywhere only to see somebody that you didn't want to see or you know what do you do would you go in and eat your meal and eat it proudly or you know or do has anybody ever gone in or maybe you're any any service industry people like waiters waitresses hostesses have you ever had somebody say please sit me across the room i can't tell you why but like

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 3:

yeah i can't sit in this vicinity yeah did you have to wait on somebody you didn't like oh yeah

00:05:45 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

yeah did you have to what you know what i mean they're in your section i was gonna say i'm more

00:05:49 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

in the server's perspective with my situation because I didn't walk in on them, but I did have my ex deliver my mattress two weeks after we broke up. Are you waiting on a mattress? Shut up at my front door and I said, you will never be sleeping on this bad boy.

00:06:03 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

What was that like? Were you getting rid of the mattress because of the relationship?

00:06:07 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. I used to work with a company who I absolutely loved who was just delivering me a nice new one. Denver mattress? It was. I remember you doing that on Denver. He showed up at my front door and I went, You gotta be effing kidding me. I know you saw my name on that delivery list. I got this one. Yeah, you know he did. I was like, get out of my room. Yeah, that's a good one. Yes, yes. He already knew where to go. Yeah. I know where you are. He was like, up there. Second door in the room. I told my shirt that you never get back.

00:06:41 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Have all your underwear laying around. What's up? Is it Carly or who is this on the phone?

00:06:48 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 4:

No, it's Carly.

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

Carlos, what's up, Carlos?

00:06:51 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes, yes. I wanted to let Shannon know you got to learn how to start owning your space, your area, your situation. And the best revenge is to show them that you will have a joy no matter what, even if they are there.

00:07:04 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:07:04 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

You are 100% right, Carlos, and you are the second person to tell me that this week.

00:07:09 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

Who was the other one, Wes?

00:07:10 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

No, it was not Wes. But I agree with you. It's just, excuse me, I'm choking on something. I was not in the mood last night. Like, I just, I was not in the mood to be anxious through an entire dinner that I wanted to enjoy.

00:07:25 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Next time, laugh harder. Smile.

00:07:30 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

No, just walk by with your middle fingers up.

00:07:33 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

You know what the problem, though? The problem, though, with having this happen is you can't eat the way you want to eat. Yeah. Because you want them to think that you're eating healthy and stuff, too. Oh, I don't care about that. Really? Oh, well, as me as a fat guy, I would do that. I was going to say. You change your order? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. I was telling Chelsea that that's the one thing with DoorDash that has ruined us. DoorDash has ruined me to a point where she's like, hey, do you, you know, we try to go out and like, hey, let's go out to dinner and something. I'm like, can we just order? Can we just order in here and stuff? It's like so much easier sometimes. I've been eating chicken sandwiches from Red Robin like every day.

00:08:15 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Really? Those are very good. Oh, my God. Wait, do you get the healthy one? It's on their healthy menu? I know that sounds weird. I don't think so.

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

It's the something clock.

00:08:23 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 1:

Let me Google it. Let me see. Can we still have the bruschetta chicken?

00:08:27 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Wait, you are back full-fledged chicken.

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

I told you, Robin's going crazy.

00:08:31 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

This guy went from being a pescetarian to now. Red Robin got me in the chokehold. And I told you that was going to happen. The moment that you took Josiah to get chicken wings and you gave in, you were done. It's over. You're done for. It's called Let me guess Because I order it a lot Is it the clucker or something What is it called Crispy chicken sandwich What's their grilled chicken called That's what I'm saying It's a healthy one It's a California chicken They got a California chicken one

00:09:07 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm not getting either of them

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 4:

I'm getting that crispy chicken

00:09:11 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 1:

They got a sauce on them

00:09:13 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 4:

I might get another one today

00:09:14 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

When I stopped working there, I stopped eating there. You ate at Red Robin? Have you worked there? Oh, for years. Let her sing the birthday song to you. There's six of them. Which one do you want? You want the Flintstones wine? You want the Boy Girl Alouette version? Do you want Oscar Mayer?

00:09:30 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

Diller's Choice.

00:09:32 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Come on, come on, come on. Birthday, it's your birthday. And we're here to help you celebrate. Break, break, break from the good Robin. And we hope your day is really great. Great, great, great Sunday. That's the treat you're going to eat. It's free. So the price can get me beat when you're at my robin. You'll have a happy, happy birthday. Oh, what a happy birthday. Oh, what? You'll have a great old day.

00:09:51 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 4:

That goes to Jacqueline.

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

There you go. That's for you, Jacqueline. Let me tell you, though. I stopped eating there. Cyrus Moon. Every day when I.

00:10:00 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 3:

00:10:20 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

once loved because you'll never want to go back there again as a customer afterwards it genuinely

00:10:24 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 3:

00:10:54 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:
