All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. I say this with all the love in the world. You lie. But Shannon, why did you get that goddamn dog? I knew this was going to come back. I actually should go back to the tape when you said, I got a puppy.

00:01:17 - 00:01:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, I love this puppy so much. He is so cute. So Bo is just about, he's just over a year old. He just turned one and he's a Cavapuchon. These like fancy dog names are so crazy. He's so cute. He looks like a teddy bear, but oh my God, he is naughty. And last night I thought I was going to have to sell him. Now I say that jokingly.

00:01:40 - 00:01:42 | Speaker 5:

Sell him. You may have to pay somebody. But I wanted to.

00:01:43 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 3:

So Lucy, my fifth grader, has her very last Girl Scout camp of elementary school this Saturday, which mom has a lot of emotions about. I'll be with her all day on Saturday. So we've been preparing for it all week. And if you are a Girl Scout parent or you are a former Girl Scout, you probably remember this. One of the activities that the girls traditionally do at camp is they trade something called swaps. And they're basically these little like crafty things that you have to make. And you have to make a ton of them because you have to make enough for like all of the girls at camp. and then during the day you trade them and then everybody pins them to their lanyard. And these things take a lot of time depending on what you choose to do. So we've been working on Lucy since Sunday, okay? So last night, everybody was home, but we were all doing something. Lucy was on a Zoom session with her therapist. Smith was taking a shower after his swim class. Wes and I were downloading the day. And so I walk into our kitchen after Wes and I are done talking and I see little bits and pieces, hundreds and hundreds of them, of Lucy's Girl Scout swaps.

00:02:59 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh no, Shane. All over.

00:03:02 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 3:

The floor. All over the kitchen. All over the living room. It was like confetti out of what we have been working on for the past four days. I wanted to cry. And I looked at that dog who got groomed yesterday and yes he looks exceptionally cute i wanted he's an a-hole i wanted to be like just go run away what did lucy do lucy just go cried bro oh well i wanted to cry because it's just as much work for me as it is for her we work on these things together um so yeah we're we're starting over no tonight i remember telling you when this thing came into

00:03:43 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 5:

your life what the hell were you thinking you you were getting married you were blending families you're adding people to this home already that you are you would even tell us we don't have enough rooms for the people that are adding to the home why are you adding animals yeah oh my god i tried to get my dog to eat homework and she wouldn't do it i used to say my dog ate

00:04:07 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 3:

homework i never had a dog this isn't even like homework cab because that's a sheet or two of paper i'm not joking when i say this was it was like oh my god you put blood sweat and tears in

00:04:20 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 5:

it is poor lucy poor i'm not even gonna say poor you because you knew what you were getting yourself

00:04:25 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 3:

into lucy didn't she's an innocent you want to know what's so crazy too is she and i had i always say to the kids if you don't want the dogs to get at it make sure you put it in something and somewhere where they can't go because Bo, he thinks he's human and he likes to sit at our dining room table. Like he just sits in a chair. Wait, hold on.

00:04:42 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 5:

He sits? Stop the music. I swear to God he does. He sits at the dining room table. Like sits in a chair at the dining room table.

00:04:47 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 3:

All the time. Perched it like a kid. Oh my God. Last night, he took that to a whole new level and got on the dining room table because that's where Lucy had very responsibly put all this stuff in like big Ziploc bags. Until she, you know, she could finish it. And, like, this is him every single night. Oh, my God. He sits, Jack.

00:05:05 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 1:

He's literally sitting there. He's, like, he thinks he's human. He does look cute. I don't know.

00:05:09 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What did your GD dog eat? What did your, what was the thing? And when, I want to know, not only what did your dog eat, but how close to the Girl Scout event did it happen? Because usually that's when it happens, is when you're actually working on it for last minute stuff.

00:05:27 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 3:

And poor Luce is like, it's my last one. It's my last Girl Scouts camp. Like, she was just so upset.

00:05:34 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. And I will tell you that, you know, yeah, I get it. They're dogs, you know. I mean, I have to think about this all the time. They don't know better, even though we all think that our dogs are the smartest dogs in the world. They're just dumb dogs. I hate to say it. No offense to anybody who's a dog that's listening to the show. But they're dumb dogs. Anybody that goes, oh, my God, my dog crapped on the floor. Yeah, I'd crap on the floor, too. I'd be a dog. You know what I mean?

00:06:03 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes it's like these dogs know what they're doing, though. And they almost use that, I'm a dog. You think so? They're smarter. You think that? He just said, there are four days until the event. He knows exactly where this stuff is. He knows what he's doing. He doesn't want them going to the event.

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

We've been working on it for four days.

00:06:18 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 1:

He's watching.

00:06:19 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

It's two days until the event.

00:06:20 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on, Olivia? How you doing?

00:06:23 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys doing? First time, long time. Hey, there. Olivia is on the phone.

00:06:28 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Nice to talk to you. What's going on?

00:06:30 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so I have an 11-month-old puppy, golden retriever, and for the first time yesterday, he decided to eat our carpet.

00:06:37 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:06:40 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that was a great picture. We have a puppy sitter, and I'm a school teacher, and I got a great picture of it when I was on my lunch break, and it was fabulous.

00:06:49 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wait, so the puppy sitter was there and didn't stop the dog from eating the carpet?

00:06:55 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. Our puppy center, he just comes and lets him out during the day. He only lets the door down.

00:07:00 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

By the way, call our buddy Joey over at the Carpet Guys. He'll help you out, okay?

00:07:04 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 3:

He's the best. He really is.

00:07:06 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I'm sure my landlord would like that, but now our security deposit's all messed up, too. I was like, oh, my God.

00:07:11 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

There it goes. Out the window. Thanks for calling. What's up? Is this LaDonna?

00:07:16 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:07:17 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:07:17 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

First time, Long time. Yes.

00:07:19 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

LaDonna on the phone. Two in a row.

00:07:22 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Your turn. So my dog ate my whole couch. The whole thing. The whole couch? The whole couch. We came home. She was there for, we had her for two weeks. And when we came home, she ate the whole couch.

00:07:35 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how big is your dog if it's eating a couch?

00:07:38 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 5:

It's a German Shepherd.

00:07:39 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, my gosh.

00:07:41 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 5:

Dressed out.

00:07:42 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what does a couch look like getting pooped out by a German Shepherd?

00:07:46 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 5:

She scratched the arms. Like, the whole thing was just tore apart. She was there. We left her out because we're like, we're not going to crate her. We're going to see how she does. Came home from work on lunch break, and she scratched at the whole thing. The cushions were everywhere. There was foam everywhere. It was just destroyed.

00:08:04 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

That'd be the last day that I had a German Shepherd. What's up, Maggie? Hi.

00:08:08 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning, you guys.

00:08:10 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. We're talking about Shannon's dog, Bo. What's your name of your dog?

00:08:15 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Her name was Arella, and she came to our wedding on Mackinac Island. And after the wedding, you know how you get to keep the tablet of your wedding cake? Oh, yes. Somebody brought it to our room to help us, like, unload and stuff like that. And it was just at the right level where she was able to get it. And we came back to the room after going out to the bar. And there was just crumbs everywhere.

00:08:39 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Ate the wedding cake. Oh, my God. The people that have their dogs in their weddings are cute. Like, those are some of the videos. It is very cute. They don't ever show you the video of the post-wedding when the dog is a little bit too crazy. What's going on, Andrea? This is a good one. Andrea, what did your dog eat?

00:08:58 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

Our dog ate a box of condoms while we were out one night. And we came home and found the box and all the cardboard and wrappers and everything shredded all over the floor. and so then it kind of like turned into like how many were in that box and how many did he actually

00:09:17 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

eat and like trying to figure out i can only imagine you having to pull it right out of its butthole uh when it's starting to come out that little we called the vet and they told us to give

00:09:30 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 4:

him peroxide to make him throw them off oh so then my husband was in the yard like literally picking through the dog yes oh god thank god they weren't used condoms because that would be

00:09:44 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

even grosser but lexi this is a wild one your dog is definitely alert after this what did your dog

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

eat he ate my bottle of adderall i almost died so it was mother's day last year and i heard my husband leave with my 3K.

00:10:00 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 1:

And I was like, okay, cool. I stayed asleep. And then about like an hour later, I get out of bed to go let the dog out of his crate. And my bottle was, like my shelf above his crate had fallen, I guess. And the bottle was in his crate. And the bottle was like eating up and everything. And I saw vomit. I was freaking out, crying. But then he was fine.

00:10:20 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was wide awake forever. What did he do, clean the entire house afterwards?

00:10:24 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 1:

He's a healer. So he's so hyper. this dog was laying on my back deck watching the grass I'm like, oh my god I'm like, he needs Adderall every day

00:10:36 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:
