All right, it's Mojo on The Morning Show. You know how, speaking of earlier this week, This week we were talking about how Kev did not narc on the old man that had the cart at Kroger and yet still had items underneath and he basically shoplifted. Well, we talked about thieves and stuff. Thievery amongst our own Mojo in the Morning family. Shannon discovered a thief. She's going to call them out right now.

00:01:49 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 2:

So I had a busy day yesterday and my day culminated in I had a girl's night, a Galentine's that got had gotten postponed because of the snowstorm. And so went to that, had a great time, got home. And while the kids were getting ready for bed, I was like, oh, I'm going to just try to clean up and throw in a load of laundry. So I'm in my seven year old son Smith's room and I'm put I don't know why this child thinks that the floor is a good place for his clothes. So I'm like trying to teach him that the clothes actually go in the hamper, but whatever. So I was picking up all of his clothes and putting them in the hamper. And I felt a bulge in the pocket of one of the pairs of sweatpants that I was throwing into the hamper. I reach in and pull out a ton. I'm talking a stack about this thick of, it looked like credit cards. Okay. Probably, I don't know, 15, 20 of them. Okay. And I'm looking at them going, what are these? And they each had a value of $50 on them. They were from my dentist's office. They had my dentist's office on them. And they were for non-insurance covered services. Now, I never got one of these. I never saw one of these at my dentist's office. So I was confused as to how Smith got so many of them. And so I asked him and he looked at me like a deer in headlights. And he was like, well, because I brought him and Lucy to my dentist appointment two weeks ago. And he said he thought they were free. He took them from the desk at the dentist office. You guys, he had $650 worth of these credit cards from the dentist office. So if anybody needs teeth whitening, whatever you want. But I have to call the dentist office today and be like, is this something that you give out? are these i wonder who gets these well they're they're each worth fifty dollars i know i know

00:03:50 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 3:

but i wonder you know if they're like loaded well you know how yeah you go to the target and stuff and they say 50 bucks but you got to load them on there but you should you should try them you

00:03:58 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 2:

should try no that's the problem i have to either go to or call my dentist's office today and

00:04:03 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 3:

explain the situation because that's i mean you're gonna rat out your son well i don't know that

00:04:09 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 2:

that's necessarily writing him out i i don't know i guess it is but i'm also not going to let him keep 650 worth of these things if they're really worth and have 650 loaded onto them you're a

00:04:23 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 3:

better person than any of the rest of us they had to see him do it there's nobody in that waiting room yeah we would have never talked although if they saw him do it wouldn't they call you and say hey excuse me i i think you need to because it's been a you said it was a couple days right or how

00:04:38 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 2:

long ago was it? I mean, it's been my dentist appointment was the week before last.

00:04:42 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez. Yeah, if they saw

00:04:44 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 2:

it, they would have called it. Which means he's been carrying them around in the bags of crap that he carries around and then just happened to put them in this pair of sweatpants to get

00:04:51 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

discovered. Do you ever remember taking things out of your mom's purse and then you would give them to your friends and stuff like that when you were at school?

00:05:00 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 6:

like gum or anything like that like you take candy i remember there was a kid that i went to saint michael school with go wildcats and the kid would bring things in from his his mom and dad's purse and i will never forget the day that this kid brought his dad's american express card and he thought it was so cool because he's got the american express card and he has this card and i'm thinking nothing nothing of it like i'm thinking oh man that's kind of cool that's like a cool little thing and like looking at the logo and stuff on the thing and he had the card there then he gets called down to the principal's office because somebody i guess called i don't know if it was his mom or dad or whatever and said did he take the thing so he actually got called down and his dad noticed that his credit card was missing out of the deal oh i wish smith

00:05:47 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

would steal his dad's credit if i found that i wouldn't narc on him if if smith is listening

00:05:56 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 6:

feel free to do so if you do will you just call us up and tell us then and then we'll go to somerset my sweet boy what's the three digits on the back three digits um that's that's wild uh that uh you know it's funny as a kid shoplifting i feel like would you tell on you know kev you said you wouldn't tell on the old man but if josiah stole something would you make it a learning

00:06:20 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 5:

moment oh for sure for sure we would walk in there we would apologize we would have a full conversation we would do all the necessary things i remember one time we were in the store this is when i was probably younger than even josiah so i was probably like eight or nine and i have a younger sister melinda who's three sometimes four years younger than me and melinda wanted Remember Mentos, the fresh maker? I love Mentos. Bro, they had the fire commercials. They had, like, different colors, and Lynn wanted some Mentos. And my mama went by and said, we go in the store, don't ask for nothing. So we already had to talk. Melinda brought the Mentos, asked my mom for them. She said, what did I tell you? Melinda went back to put them up, but not before she opened it up and took, like, two or three out of the Mentos, Mark. My mama beat that ass, boy.

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 6:

oh that was a good day for me by the way kenyatta did text us just now and uh say that

00:07:15 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

long in the tooth is a saying so i just know she did not kenyatta i googled it no girl even if he

00:07:22 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 5:

was right don't tell him you know like when you google words and then they have that bar graph that tells you like if they're popular or when people say it yeah the bar graph has been going

00:07:30 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 6:

down since 1834 urban dictionary says that it's now a sexual position

00:07:38 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

i feel like you would also say good morrow long in the tooth good morrow what's up chris how you

00:07:46 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 6:

doing not too bad how are you good what's going on it's mojo in the morning not much i was just

00:07:53 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

thinking those cards normally are like the good rx cards you see at pharmacies where people without insurance it just helps them get services at a discounted rate yeah but they're not really worth

00:08:06 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

anything i'm hoping that's what these are is like something like that like a coupon not necessarily

00:08:12 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 6:

like a gift card it is by the way it is uh funny though as a kid you always wanted credit cards because you saw your parents with credit cards. So, yeah.

00:08:20 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

When I was younger, I used to take those off of the desk at the doctor's office and then ask for stickers. Oh, yeah.

00:08:31 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 6:

By the way, speaking of stealing, we used to steal the dum-dums and things like that. Oh, yeah. They always had bad candy at the doctor's offices that I went to when I was a kid. Look, Kenyatta's calling us.

00:08:43 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Kenyatta? Good morning. Good morning. And Megan, don't do me and Mojo like that. Don't do that. That is a saying, saying that they're older. But Kenyatta. No. No. We're not going to do this on a Thursday.

00:08:59 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 1:

We as women are supposed to uplift each other and support one another, and we don't do that for him.

00:09:07 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 4:

But us, 45 and older, have to support each other even more.

00:09:11 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

Do you know what it is, though?

00:09:12 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 6:

Kenyatta, Megan is still young. But Megan lives old. She lives old.

00:09:18 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she feels more like Similac. She's just a baby. Exactly.

00:09:23 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 6:

I love you.

00:09:23 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

Love you so much.

00:09:25 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Amy? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:09:28 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys? Good morning. What's going on? When we were younger, my sister went through a little klepto phase when she was in kindergarten, and she had taken stuff from her classroom, and my mom found that out, and she got in trouble or whatever. And then we had to go with her to my brother's orthodontist appointment. And my sister swiped the, do you remember Magna Doodles? She missed, she swiped from the waiting room, like the piece of, for the Magna Doodle that we were missing at home. and my mom, I don't know if it was me or my brother, but one of us snitched in the car on the way home and my mom drove my sister right to the police station and drug her butt inside. And that was the last time my sister ever stole anything.

00:10:13 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh. I thought you were going to say that's the last time we saw my sister.

00:10:17 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no.

00:10:19 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

She's locked up still. The first season of the X Games League is ending in New Orleans and only one team walks away champion.
