My name is Patrick Pettway, and I am getting my Associates of Science and General Education with an emphasis in business administration. To me, it was a no-brainer. When you go out here and you're looking for funding to go back to college as a 40-year-old man, I got six people in my household. I think missing body parts fascinates me more than extra body parts, but extra body parts. I don't feel so bad talking about missing ones that could have been a bad

So yesterday Wes and I went to the gym, uh, in the evening and i i always put my purse and my coat in a locker so after we're done i go back into the locker room and there's two levels of lockers i'm a little short so i tend to put my things on the lower level of locker so i'm crouching down what'd you say i said imagine that yeah uh or else i have to stand on my tippy toes to get my stuff um but i'm crouching down to get my purse out of my out out of the locker and a lady comes right up next to me she has the locker that's above mine and and over one and I notice as I'm grabbing my stuff that she's wearing flip-flops so I thought okay she must have showered like this is all happening in like 10 seconds but I happen to glance at her feet and in her flip-flops she has six toes oh yeah actually i correct myself in her flip-flop she has five toes under the strap her sixth bonus toe is above the strap you guys i could not look away how do you do this little piggy with an extra toe i you the another piggy goes somewhere else How about the flip-flop? It goes home. It goes home. This little piggy rests on top of the flip-flop. I walk out of the locker room and I go, Wes, there's a lady in there and she has six toes. And he's like, okay, whatever. That's great. And I'm like, no, no, no. She was wearing flip-flops. And I'm fascinated at how she chose which five toes go under the flip-flop strap and which lucky toe goes above the flip-flop strap because she couldn't fit them all in the space underneath. Do you have to pay more on a pedicure? great question don't know and i he goes well did she have six toes on the other foot and i'm like dang it i didn't look i was so fascinated by just the one so i don't know if she had a letter

i was calling about the extra digits on your feet and stuff yeah which which one are you calling about where do you got an extra digit so it was my girlfriend uh she was born with an extra toe her cousin was born with two extra toes my girlfriend's toe was taken off her cousins

they kept them really did they live near like a power plant or something like where

Bessie. No, no, everything was normal. They just had extra toes. So when my kids were born, that's the first thing we looked at were the toes when they came out to make sure they had all 10.

No, no. So she couldn't wear regular shoes. They had to take the, her extra digit off, but her cousin was okay to keep them. So she still has extra toes.

When you're a nurse in a hospital and the person comes out with these extra toes, do you guys just sit there and all call each other over from other departments? Do you get to see this?

no because it's so common we talk about other very weird things wow anybody you know come out

with an extra nose or like is is this only the thing that happens with uh fingers and toes

i personally have only seen the extra fingers and toes in my career but i'm sure other people

Yes. When I was born, I had 12 toes. I had one extra on each foot. Wow. And then about six years ago, they actually had to go in and surgically remove what they classified as a 13th digit because it kind of regrew itself.
