00:03:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. I'm going to start off the show by telling you that within like 20 minutes, if you stick around, you'll hear obviously Shannon's Dirty and get a chance to win some cool prizes back in the day, but you'll also have a shot to win Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Drake tickets. so we've got all three coming up in just a little bit for one winner and it could be you so make sure that you're listening again listen at right around 6 30 also at 9 30 we'll do that post malone tickets next hour war of the roses coming up at its traditional seven o'clock time and a wife suspicious because she just noticed that her husband's ex has access to some very personal information about them and why would she and did he

00:05:00 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Give her that access. We will find out coming up in just about, I don't know, 40 minutes or so. So 45 minutes. It's Mojo in the morning. Nice to have you here with us. Mojo, Shannon, Mike, Megan, Kev, KP, Lydia. And the phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, Texas 95500. Megan's in the studios this morning with us in the Toledo studios.

00:05:28 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

I feel this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. I knew it. You should have saw how excited I was when I saw the Wrangler in the parking lot.

00:05:35 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 4:

I was like, yeah, I know whose car that is. This is the first time you guys have met in person. Yes, yes.

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 2:

And to the listeners out there, if you've loved Megan, I can honestly say she's everything and more.

00:05:46 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 3:

It's a lie, but I'll take it.

00:05:49 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

The first meeting between you two guys, because you just started on Monday with us, Kev. And you still haven't met Mike, so we've got to get that to happen here sometime soon. Um, and, uh, Megan, when she's in here in the studios, usually is because Shannon is not, or she's got something going on. But today, uh, Shannon, you have to leave the show a little early because your, your little one, your superstar, uh, Smith is graduating from kindergarten today. From preschool. Or preschool.

00:06:18 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 4:

He's going on to, you know, you, normally I think they do a kindergarten graduation. Yes. But he'll be joining Lucy at her school next year. So he's going from like a Young Fives preschool program to actual elementary school to kindergarten.

00:06:30 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

That is so cool. And they have a ceremony for that.

00:06:32 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

They have a big ceremony. He's singing a song or two. Oh, that's awesome. So he was practicing yesterday.

00:06:39 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 1:

So it requires that you will, what time do you have to hop out of here?

00:06:43 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

I'll head out like just after 8 o'clock.

00:06:44 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:06:44 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

Now obviously your son is the star of the day. But for all the moms that are there, they better watch out. Shannon's going to be the best looking mom in the entire room. Oh my God. I'm just being honest. I'm just being honest. I'm just being honest.

00:06:59 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 1:

You know that you're sucking up when you're so excited to see Megan and you're telling Shannon how great she looks.

00:07:05 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

I like it. What's wrong with that? Yeah. Oh, my God. The truth isn't hard. It makes you ask, though, what do you want? Yeah, what is it? I want good vibes, man. I just want good vibes. You can have it.

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

We'll take it. All right. You got anything else to say to anybody? What about me? Look at me.

00:07:22 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 2:

This is what I will say to you. The music bed choice that you had yesterday, I was feeling the vibe. So you got to live up to it today.

00:07:29 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

I got to tell this story. So at the end of the show, so we always will talk about, oh, that was a good break that time. You know, that was a good topic. That was, you know, that topic kind of stunk, whatever, you know. And we'll do that at the end of the show. We go to the end of the show just kind of recapping what everybody thought of the show. And Kevin's compliment to me was, I thought your music beds that you played in and out of commercial breaks was fantastic. I thought it was just, I had, I had good music beds that were, uh, that were rolling. So I, I, I appreciate that, that, that actually bring, you know what, that, that's sometimes that's part of the plan, right? We got to have good stuff and our deep voice guy, announcer guys got to have some good stuff to say. So everybody's part of this thing. Um, Megan, you had something happen to you yesterday in, uh, in downtown Toledo. First off, the weather is perfect for this, but for those that don't know this, the Toledo iHeart stations has one of the coolest vehicles ever.

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

It's a golf cart because they're street legal in downtown Toledo.

00:08:34 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

They have their own golf cart.

00:08:36 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and it's all logoed up and everything. It has a big iHeartRadio logo on it, or it did. It's now kind of morphed and hard to read, and I think that's my fault, but I'll tell you why in a second. But it is funny that it has a license plate, and I had to park it yesterday, and I couldn't find the license plate, and I didn't know what to put in on the parking app. I was like, golf cart. It's a golf cart, guys.

00:08:57 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do you have to pay a full meter for a golf cart?

00:09:01 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, which is kind of BS when you think about it. Well, you're taking up the same space. Well, am I, though? I'd park it on the sidewalk if they'd let me. I'll hop curbs. It's not mine. I don't care. And that's really the mentality I had when I went to this coffee shop yesterday. we had a brand new one open up in downtown if you didn't know brew house opened up downtown so i think this is their second location you're welcome um i really wanted to try it because i actually had never been to the one out mommy and so i i went over and uh this woman was leaving and she was parked right in front of me and it was parallel parking because we're in downtown and um she rolled down her window while i was walking in she goes i'm so sorry to bother you but this is a massive truck and I have a new hitch and I can't see it on my backup camera. Can you help me back up? And I said, absolutely. And I went behind her car and I expected her to do what normal people do when you back up. And that's like slowly let your foot off the brake and just roll. Not what this woman decided to do. She must have been in a rush because she full throttled backwards. I could not tell her to stop at time. And her hitch smashed into the golf cart. She was like, oh, my God. And I went, it's not mine. I don't care. And I just walked away. And she looked so confused. Like, did you not drive it there? I was like, no, I drove it, but I just don't care that you hit it. I just walked away because it's not mine. Yeah. It's not mine. I don't care. Is the golf cart okay? I mean, he's got a big dent in it, but I don't care. It's not mine.

00:10:33 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 1:

You're not going to say anything? You're not going to forewarn Scott or anybody like that?

00:10:37 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

This is a good reminder to all of us to never let Megan McBorrow anything of ours.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

I didn't hit anything. Who cares?

00:10:45 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

I didn't hit it.

00:10:46 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 1:

This is why we can't have nice things around here.

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

Correct, but if I hit it, I would have told somebody, but I didn't hit anything.

00:10:51 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:

You do that thing when somebody notices and goes, what? There's a dent in it? Oh, my God. How did that happen?

00:10:58 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say it was probably the new guy.

00:10:59 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 1:

By the way, did you know that in, we were talking about this, Shannon and I were with you guys before a break, but did you know that if you like guide somebody to back up or, and Shannon, you brought this up, if you wave somebody into traffic.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Like if somebody's coming out of a gas station and they're trying to like cut through, you know.

00:11:19 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 1:

And they get into an accident or they hit something that you are actually at fault just like they're at fault.

00:11:24 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. You're liable. No way. That can't be reasonable.

00:11:28 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 1:

No, so technically, Shannon and I are telling you, Megan, that you are the reason why this woman is not going to have to pay for that golf cart. You are going to have to pay for that golf cart. Well, good luck. They're going to take it right out of that check of yours. With what money?

00:11:45 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

What money do you think is in that paycheck?

00:11:46 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

You thought that your college loans were the only thing coming out of that check. A golf cart payment is coming out of that check.

00:11:53 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 3:

What is it called when they garnish my wages? What are you going to do?

00:11:56 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Yep, they're going to garnish it, and they're going to make sure that that thing gets paid for, or they can bring it into a body. Do they bring golf carts into body shops? Do you bring that in there?

00:12:07 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

No. You know what you do? You lift the hood, you punch it from the bottom sign, and you say, good enough. You close it, you walk away.

00:12:14 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 1:

Pop it out. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. By the way, has anybody ever had that happen to them? Because I've always feared that. I let people in all the time. I don't care about the whole libel thing, but I'll do the whole thing, let them in. But I fear that I'm not going to see something that, you know, is going on, and then the person's going to pull out and get themselves into an accident. If that's ever happened, you'll have to call us up. What's up, Jackie?

00:12:40 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I used to work for my mom at a restaurant. We had, like, a John Deere gator, like a little golf cart type thing.

00:12:48 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those things are badass. I always wanted one of those, but the people on my street would probably not like it.

00:12:54 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they wouldn't appreciate it. We had one that I ran into the side of the building with it. I just kind of pretended I did it. I just brought the sock back in and left it go. And she came out and was like, what happened? I don't know. Wasn't me.

00:13:07 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 1:

The new guy. Those things, by the way, are so cool. Those and then, what is this, Polaris or something like that?

00:13:13 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 2:

Polaris is my girlfriend. Julie has one because she lives on a farm.

00:13:17 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 1:

Those things are so cool. I've always thought to myself, like, that would be the coolest thing ever. And then to talk about, like, parking spots with the golf cart, I always wanted to get a moped, because you can then park in moped parking. Have you ever seen that?

00:13:30 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 4:

There's moped parking? Yeah. I've had a moped.

00:13:34 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine me on a moped? Would that not be the funniest thing ever? The moped would be riding me, not me riding the moped.

00:13:41 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

I think Kevin should get a gator because then he can just throw the cone in the back like yesterday and just park that way.

00:13:51 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right. Look at you recalling something here right now. That's unbelievable on that. Kevin doesn't even know what you're talking about. Oh, there we go. They see that? Kevin just had this look on his face like, was I here yesterday? I got to turn my headphones on. I don't remember exactly what you're saying. Jackie, say hi to Kev. Hey, Kev. Nice to meet you. What up, Jackie? By the way, way too positive. I don't know if this is going to be a good fit for us, but we'll have to figure this thing out. I like a texter 231 that said that Megan being uncomfortable when Kevin was saying hi to her and good morning and all the compliments is so Megan because she still can't take compliments.

00:14:29 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

00:14:30 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Stephanie? How you doing?

00:14:33 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you?

00:14:34 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's up?

00:14:36 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 5:

So I was actually hit by somebody that was waved out into traffic.

00:14:40 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez. What happened? Tell the story.

00:14:43 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 5:

I was driving down Telegraph Road in Flat Rock. So, like, it's a bunch of restaurants, all fast food. Well, this girl was getting Taco Bell before she went to breakfast. And then somebody waved her at a Taco Bell that was in the right lane. But I was in the left lane, and they didn't realize that I was coming. She didn't see me, and I'm in a big SUV, and she's in a...

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 8:

little car and she pulled out right in front of me oh my gosh did did they figure out did they figure out anything with the accident like did they say who it was or know anything about it

00:15:10 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 7:

so she got the ticket because nobody else was literally there like the guy that waved didn't even stay and i ended up like comforting her she was 16 she was scared she was crying she was worried her parents were going to be upset you know so yeah but you hit me

00:15:27 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 8:

I know I'm so sad that you're sad Thank you for the call I appreciate it Stephanie Poncho this happened to you?

00:15:37 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 5:

Yes it did I was trying to turn into a gas station The inner lane stopped I didn't see the outer lane I ruined the ladies Perfectly good driving record Oh jeez

00:15:49 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 8:

That's the problem with some of the Roads having so many different lanes Coming in different ways and you can't figure out exactly where somebody is or they're in the blind spot, and you've got to be careful. What's up, Dustin?

00:16:03 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 9:

How's it going this morning?

00:16:05 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 8:

Good. Turn your radio down because if you're here.

00:16:07 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 9:

I'm walking away from it. Okay.

00:16:09 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 8:

What's going on?

00:16:10 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 9:

Not much. I'm just at work this morning. I had a 96 Blazer, and I was pulling out of a parking lot one time, crossed both lanes and through the turn lane, and I had both lanes stopped, and the turn lane didn't realize it. And as I went out, they barely caught the back corner of my bumper and ripped my rear bumper right off.

00:16:32 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. Wow. And how much damage? How much money was it in damage?

00:16:40 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 9:

I put it back on myself. It was an old rusted-up blazer, so I didn't take it in. But it would have probably been about $1,000 to have it fixed.

00:16:47 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 6:

No way. No way. $25.

00:16:51 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 8:

$25. Megan just says, just open it up the trunk or the hood and pop it out.

00:16:56 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 4:

No, you just get a hole punch and some zip ties. You're fine.

00:16:59 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Listen, Officer Marie on with us right now. How are you doing, Officer Marie?

00:17:04 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 6:

I'm doing good.

00:17:05 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 8:

Can we make sure Megan gets a ticket for what she did yesterday?

00:17:09 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 6:

I'll mail everyone.

00:17:12 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 8:

How dare you? Do you guys ever have to write tickets for people like this?

00:17:16 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 6:

All the time. I try to make the best determination of who caused the accident. But at the end of the day, it's kind of like if you're waved on or not, you have to make sure it's clear regardless.

00:17:31 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. I'm the person that backs into a parking spot like that person did and backed into the iHeart Toledo golf cart. And I'm the person that doesn't stop until I hear the boom. No, it's not even the.

00:17:46 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 4:

Does your Tahoe have the. It does.

00:17:48 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 8:

It has the warning beeps, but the problem with the warning beeps on my Tahoe, it's way too sensitive. Like, it warning beeps, and then I get out of my car, and I'm like, wait a second, I've got, like, too much spot, and I've got to go back in and do it. So I just kind of at least give it a little love tap. You know, nothing too harsh, just a little one. Just a little kiss. Yeah, exactly.

00:18:08 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:
