I graduated from Michigan Mathematics Science Academy.

So after graduating from Michigan Math and Science Academy, I'm going to Harvard University. Whoa! Incredible.

And by the way, if you haven't heard me talk about this incredible place, it's a free charter school. Free? Free, pre-K to 12th grade, yes. That's amazing.

How is it free? First off, the kids that go to school there, they all go to do great things in their lives, don't they?

So, Marie, where are some of the other schools that you were looking at going to?

I was looking at attending Northwestern University and U of M, University of Michigan. I know.

Did you know that I barely got into Spex Howard School of Broadcasting? Man, that's amazing. Your parents got to be so proud of you. Where were you looking to go to school if you didn't go to high school at Michigan Mathematics?

Michigan Math and Science Academy.

I was looking at going to either Cranbrook Schools, Detroit Country Day, or International Academy East.

Oh, you had to pay for those schools, right?

Yeah, but International Academy East was free.

Oh, wow.

Well, let me ask this question, because we hear Shannon talk about this school all the time, and everything she says sounds amazing. But from someone that actually went there, what was your favorite part about the school? Lunch.

I really appreciated how the school Really tried to have the parents be engaged with the students And make sure that the parents were always Supporting the students even at home

Oh, actually We didn't, I'd say it was like a regular school lunch It was okay
