Megan, I saw that you were pretty active this weekend. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see Megan out and about two in a row.

00:02:15 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Two nights in a row. It's crazy.

00:02:17 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 3:

So we definitely need to talk about Lewis Capaldi later because your lover was here in town. But I want to talk to you about this pedal pub because I understand that you almost did a little cheating on Lewis Capaldi.

00:02:30 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was a real... I was so desirable this weekend. I'm sorry. I love how humble you are. I can do it again. It's the hair. I had to fight men off of me all weekend long. Wow. And it was so hard to do that. I can't say it was a straight face. But I did go out on this pedal pub, and I had never felt so wanted as I did on Friday night. Now, first of all, I was feeling hot because it was 8,000 degrees outside. And I don't know what the hell was happening, but putting me on a bicycle in that humidity, straight to jail. Whoever booked that straight to jail, you are not a friend. You are a foe. But, yeah, no, we were out and about and it's getting pretty lit because why not? I even think I texted Mojo and I was like, getting hammered, expect a weird call. Like, get prepared. And, yeah, I met this guy who was very adamant that by the end of the night we were going to kiss.

00:03:33 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 3:

But I found a red flag, you guys.

00:03:34 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. First of all, who, like...

00:03:37 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she kind of, like, throws that in there.

00:03:39 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

Who's the guy? Listener. not cute cute okay yeah uh not your not your type cute why do you say it like that i'm zero

00:03:50 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 4:

interested in dating i am zero interested in anything right now like i really truly and this is going to sound funny because how much i say i don't i truly enjoy my life right now like i like not having to deal with anybody else so for me uh was it fun yeah do i want to go on dates and like start seeing somebody not particularly was he good at flirting because that's i would i don't know if it's good or just persistent and maybe persistence is key wait so what was the red flag though that came about so when you're at a pedal pub you have to well you don't have to but there you can make your own playlist right everybody can choose to listen to whatever they want to listen to and everybody was fighting over the ox cord and we there were four of us in our group and we had 12 strangers with us and he was a part of the stranger group i did not know who this man was okay and we were all fighting over what song to play next and he just starts lifting off country song after country song after country song after country song. After country song And I was adamantly saying F now We are not listening to country Not tonight Not tonight Not tonight Can't handle it Will not do it I will literally jump off this bike And run away Like we are not listening to country music And he pulled up his streaming services And literally every single song Was a country song And I just said That is your red flag sir Absolutely red flag And we started fighting over it But I think If you only listen Exclusively to country music Red flag

00:05:27 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 2:

So because the guy was a country music listener

00:05:31 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

Couldn't do it KP is like I'm not even saying a word Because I'm just going to start throwing hands If I say anything I think KP and I were going to come to Fist On Saturday night after this

00:05:42 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 1:

Because you're saying just country though Not like if they have Because I listen to country every now and then But I also listen to everything

00:05:49 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 2:

But wait, you need to be well rounded In your musical tastes

00:05:54 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 4:

Exactly, he wasn't Maybe this is just your missing piece, you know? Absolutely not. I paid my dues. My dues are paid. I've listened to enough country music in my life. So did you say this out loud to him, by the way? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I posted it. I literally mocked him on my Instagram about it. Literally.

00:06:16 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Here's the question. I'm going to throw this out there to the listeners right now. Could you date somebody that didn't have the same musical taste as you?

00:06:22 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Mm-mm.

00:06:23 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Oh, really? What's his musical taste?

00:06:29 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 4:

It's like old school, like, rap and R&B.

00:06:32 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's kind of fun.

00:06:34 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 4:

But not my, you know me, not my taste at all. Okay, so you're saying your partner doesn't have to share, you share a space. So if I wake up on a Saturday morning and my partner is playing country music for an hour, I'm going to burn the house down. That's not good for my mental health.

00:06:49 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh, hold on a second, hold on a second, hold on a second. And we may have said man on the phone with us right now. After the five at 6.55, we are going to talk to him.

00:07:01 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay? You Ryan Seacrest. Stay right there.

00:07:05 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Can you date somebody without your musical taste? Chelsea's a huge country fan. I wasn't a big country fan. I actually have grown to love any song that gets played a thousand times on top 40 radio stations like Morgan Wallen. I'm sorry, I was just looking at my phone lines the entire time, hoping that this guy doesn't hang up the phone, because I wanted to be able to get him on the phone and talk to him. He called up during that 5 at 6.55. The guy that Megan was talking about is on the phone with us right now. Country guy. What's going on? Your name is Andrew? Yeah, what's up? Hey, Andrew. Hi, Andrew. What's up, bud? So, Andrew, say hello to Megan, the love of your life.

00:07:54 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Megan. Hey, Andrew. It's nice to know what his name is. Wait, you didn't even know his name? I definitely did not just say that, Shannon. Oh, okay. Yeah.

00:08:09 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. How do you not know my name? You made me follow all your socials. Oh, I did.

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

I did. I forgot I did that.

00:08:19 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

So, Andrew, you're a big-time country music fan, huh?

00:08:24 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I listen to Jolly Roll, like Jolly Roll, Tova Keith, Beckenridge. Yeah, okay. You know, all those old South country guys. I listen to, like, some Sean Twain, some Britney Spears. I will admit, I listen to Britney Spears. I will get down to Britney Spears. He'll get down to Britney Spears, Megan.

00:08:48 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 4:

Do I detect a little accent there or no? Am I just imagining that? That's just Ohio. Yeah, that's a Toledo accent. Oh, okay. That's just Ohio. My apologies.

00:08:56 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

So, question, Andrew. What do you think about the fact that Megan says that she won't date you because of your musical taste? Do you feel like she's discriminatory towards country music fans?

00:09:11 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, she hasn't seen all of my musical tastes. That's the thing. Okay.

00:09:16 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so you just told us your musical taste. The only thing that I heard that was not country was Britney Spears.

00:09:23 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I was from Kevin Gates. I mean, Kendrick Lamar, Tupac.

00:09:29 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I can sound Tupac.

00:09:32 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 3:

Hell, before I was on a kid rock.

00:09:35 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. There you go. All right. That's still around. Yeah, yeah.

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

Not a helper.

00:09:41 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

All right. So, are you a guy that also dresses country? Because I know you guys were at a pedal pub. I'm assuming that you weren't wearing Wranglers, though.

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

No, I was wearing a local jean brand from Black Swamp Boot out in Waukean. My friend.

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 9:

and went to the company so it is a country style jean what about what about shoes what did you have on shoes wise uh my steel toed uh boots he had steel toed boots on okay your country boy yeah

00:10:13 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

and were you wearing uh like what the new country guys do now where they wear trucker hats or were

00:10:19 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 9:

you wearing were you donning a cowboy hat i was wearing a black columbia hat with my sunglasses and a button-up shirt.

00:10:29 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Wait, was it flannel? Or was it too hot for flannel?

00:10:34 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 9:

It was just a...

00:10:36 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Plaid? Was it plaid, Megan?

00:10:38 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 6:

It was plaid.

00:10:40 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:10:40 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 6:

If I remember correctly.

00:10:42 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 9:

It was just a shirt from TST.

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:10:46 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Why is it that when Megan goes out, she finds the country boys? When I go out, I can't even find them anywhere. I think you need to come to this great place.

00:10:54 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 6:

It's called Toledo. No. Where everybody thinks they're a farmer.

00:11:02 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

This is interesting because I'm looking at all the text messages and the calls that are coming in, and they're all saying that they would not discriminate against somebody just by their musical taste. But there are then those people that are saying that they wouldn't date someone if they liked, and there's a whole bunch of different types of music.

00:11:16 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 6:

But I don't believe this because if somebody's passion was opera, and you had to come home to opera all the time, it's because I said country music and people like country. If I would have said some other genre that most people don't like, everybody would be like, that makes sense.

00:11:31 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what to call it, but my wife's only into, like, Nora Jones and Twilight songs, so it can work, I promise you.

00:11:37 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Check on Allie, she's upset. Do you ever worry that you're going to sleep with one eye open?

00:11:46 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Sarah brings up a really good point. Sarah, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. We're on with the country guy and Megan.

00:11:53 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. I do like country, however, Megan, I'm with you, because I could never do screamo or hard rap. Oh, screamo would be, yeah.

00:12:04 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

One of my really good friends dated a guy who was in a screamo band. Oh, my gosh. So not only did she have to listen to it, she had to go to the shows. It didn't last.

00:12:15 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I guess that that would be kind of a difficult one. Like, I'm thinking to myself, you know, I'm not a huge alternative music fan, and I know that there's great alternative artists, but if, like, Chelsea was really into alternative music, I probably would probably have a difficult time.

00:12:29 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

I will say, and I talked about this last week, I dated somebody who was older than me. I didn't know that when we first met because he lied. But that's besides the point. So everything that he listened to, he would be like, oh, remember this song, remember this song, remember this song. And there was such a disconnect there because I didn't. I didn't.

00:12:47 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

It was all songs from his genre.

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:50 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 4:

Right? Yeah. All right, so what do you think, Sarah? Should Megan give Andrew a chance?

00:12:58 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 8:

See, I like country, and he sounds like a good old boy. So I would say, you know, if he listens to some Britney Spears, you could probably introduce him to some new stuff. So if you like him as a good, persistent guy, I mean, let him shoot a shot.

00:13:14 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys have a connection other than the music red flag?

00:13:19 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 4:

Andrew? Yeah. Did you have a connection? Do you think that Megan had a connection with you Other than the music

00:13:24 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 9:

Yes

00:13:26 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 4:

For sure

00:13:28 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 9:

Absolutely hands down

00:13:29 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

She was taken by you Mojo in the morning What's going on Joel hi

00:13:35 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey I mean music can be a little bit judgy But if somebody was listening to polka music all the time I don't think I'd be I would date that person

00:13:45 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

How about if the polka Was to Harry Styles songs

00:13:50 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 8:

Wait

00:13:51 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 4:

yeah yeah yeah do you know do you know who that guy is andrew who what what's up harry styles have you ever heard of him what which guy exactly all right you're in trouble toya what's up it's mojo in the morning

00:14:10 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 7:

hey mojo hey good morning what's going on so i am married and i am the music person In the relationship My husband is the movie guy So I'm not really into movies But I listen to everything Country, pop, R&B Rap, like everything So it turns out Like he'll listen I'm the one who drives So he has to listen to whatever I listen to And Most of the time he ends up liking my music So it worked

00:14:45 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 4:

Would it be more upsetting Musically that you guys are different or movie-wise that you guys were different? Like if you have to sit through a four-hour movie or, for instance...

00:14:57 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, the movie thing. I would say it's unfair because I typically fall asleep on every movie.

00:15:04 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 6:

Same. Let me tell you.

00:15:06 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 1:

I feel that.

00:15:07 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 6:

Let me tell you, the person I couldn't date, I would have a hard time if Chelsea were into the theater and musicals. Okay. People who are into those. Crazy. Crazy. Yeah, awful.

00:15:17 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 4:

I would say, I could not date somebody who wasn't into that because they're not cultured. Andrew. They don't respect the arts.

00:15:27 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 6:

Andrew, what's the last musical that you've seen?

00:15:30 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 7:

Black musical I love it

00:15:37 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 6:

Alright well listen Andrew

00:15:39 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 1:

We need a picture of you Because a lot of people Are texting in Saying they are down For a country boy

00:15:44 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 6:

Maybe we can also Have Megan Will you Or Lend you To KP Our producer Who's the country Music fan

00:15:53 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

We need an Andrew reveal Yeah

00:15:55 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 7:

So Can I tell Megan My proposition For a second date

00:15:59 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 6:

Okay, go ahead.

00:16:00 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 7:

Was this a date? This wasn't a date, was it?

00:16:03 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 5:

We talked for three minutes.

00:16:05 - 00:16:05 | Unknown:

00:16:06 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 7:
