sponsored jobs it is the mojo in the morning show phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 the text is 95500 so megan you guys are doing this on purpose

00:01:48 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 1:

oh are you talking oh yes the matching clothes yes oh let me tell you this is a new thing in my life and I don't know who I'm becoming I'm in a I'm in a new blooming phase you know how spring is here and life is coming back I feel like I'm entering a new phase of my life and I'm not sure I even enjoy being here but it is what it is and I don't think I can stop the train at this point i was gonna say derail the train off the tracks but too soon i live in ohio um oh geez

00:02:21 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 2:

oh i didn't even think about that but god all right let me say this megan and her family are doing something this summer on purpose to bring themselves closer together just to see what

00:02:33 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 1:

reaction will be what is that we're gonna be buying matching clothes this summer this is so not megan mick my brain feels like it's going to explode i know but i'm kind of really on board because it started as a drunken idea and it's turned into reality. I'm kind of here for it. So we found Mia Dress and the boys' button-up shirts that all match and go together. And we've decided that we will coordinate what days we will wear these and we will go out around downtown Toledo. We'll go out to dinner. And if anybody brings up the fact that we're matching, we will gasp. What? Oh my, you guys. Did anybody check before we left the house and make a very big deal out of the fact that we didn't mean to plan to wear the same clothes? And it's so stupid. I realize how dumb the joke is, but I want to do it so bad.

00:03:25 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 2:

This is not just a one-time thing. You guys are thinking about getting many outfits in doing this?

00:03:30 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 1:

So we went to this matching outfit website, and at first we were like, we're just going to get one. And then I found like four dresses I actually wanted. Who's we? You and your brother and your dad? Yes, and some other people as well. Some other, maybe significant others, maybe cousins, aunts, uncles. But this is becoming like a new trend for us. But here's the thing. Before you judge me too hard, y'all go to family reunions and wear the same matching T-shirts. What's the difference? You know what I'm like? I'm just spending a little bit more money to get nicer clothes.

00:04:02 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 2:

That is actually true. But I do find it funny when people do the matching T-shirt thing for the family reunions. And they'll all be wearing it. And there's the one person that didn't want to wear it, you know?

00:04:13 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 1:

That's always me.

00:04:14 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 2:

There's always the one. They're like, we have to wear this. That would have been me, too. But you guys are going to do not matching T-shirts. There's no purpose either. This is for fun. Where will the match be? Will the match be more than shirts for the guys? Will the guys actually match pant-wise, too?

00:04:28 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 1:

They just have button-up shirts. I couldn't find anything else. They were button-ups. But it's the same material that the dresses are made out of.

00:04:35 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Quick question to the listeners out there. Your thoughts on this one. first off give Megan you know your idea because I love it I think it's fun but are there any people that are listening that seriously do wear matching outfits as a family other than if you are mom and dad with your little ones like

00:04:52 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

like we do matching PJs sometimes

00:04:54 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 2:

yes for like Christmas or something

00:04:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

yeah but do you remember how awkward it was Megan when you and I

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 2:

wore matching stuff on accident at the Pistons game. Last week? Yes.

00:05:04 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 5:

So we did accidentally match at the Pistons game and we did look like an old married couple that if they ever got lost in the crowd just pointed out to people and said, they look like me.

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

Have you seen Merle? She's in the vest.

00:05:16 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

Please, please promise me, Megan, that one of the times that you guys all have matching outfits on, you go to a JCPenney and take family photos. Please.

00:05:25 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how expensive that is now? Is it really? Yeah, I tried booking one just as a joke, and it's a couple hundred bucks. No. Really? Yes, I'm not kidding you. A couple hundred.

00:05:34 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 1:

So the JCPenney Photoshop is still open, and it's expensive?

00:05:40 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's still open. I didn't know that. Oh, it's definitely open.

00:05:42 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

They probably own the market. I don't know anybody else that does it. There are some. There's stores, aren't there still, like, that just have photo places? There's one right down the street for us. Let's see. Yeah. Or photographers that may have, like, little studios. What's up, Taylor?

00:05:54 - 00:05:55 | Unknown:

Hello.

00:05:56 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on? What do you think about this idea of Megan's whole family matching this summer?

00:06:01 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 7:

I think it's awesome. I actually was at Target not too long ago, and they have a whole matching family set down to dresses for kids, for men, for your puppies. Wait, what?

00:06:13 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they do.

00:06:15 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 7:

Did you say? It's a whole set. I mean, the dress matches the dog's dress.

00:06:19 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 5:

You said there's dog clothes. All right, new plan. We're going to Target.

00:06:22 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

And the entire sections have different sizes for different people?

00:06:33 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 7:

Yep, for men, for women, for babies, toddlers, dogs, they all match to the T to each other.

00:06:39 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Megan, I just got you a Groupon, $27 for one JCPenney photography session with three digital images and one standard print. God, thank you.

00:06:50 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 1:

This might be my favorite text because Megan will get it and she'll love it. 586 says, Megan, you guys will be the Von Trapp family singers.

00:07:00 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We are alive with the sound of the mixed downtown drinking.

00:07:08 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 3:

I honest to God, though, can't believe that your brother was up for this.

00:07:14 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't really think he wants to do it. Okay.

00:07:19 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Danielle, you were the texter that did the Von Trapp one. You were on hold probably with Lydia just a second ago. She actually did The Hills Are Alive. What do you think of this idea? Do you think this is a good idea for Megan and her family to do it, just to kind of mess with people?

00:07:33 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 6:

I think it's a great idea. It totally made me think of The Sound of Music, where she took curtains and made matching outfits for everyone in the family.

00:07:42 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Don't you think that that's got to be Megan, though? Megan's got to be the mom that goes and does that.

00:07:48 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 6:

yes yes i'm sure she'll need to find some good curtains and some cute outfits but i think she

00:07:54 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 5:

could pull it off can i tell you you have completely made my day not letting this

00:08:02 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

reference go and i love you very much can i tell you can i tell you that i was the kid that never got to do matching uh shirts with like my brothers and stuff my parents never did it because we were all so different sizes and my parents just couldn't afford to go out there and try to find Are we feeling a show out now? I was a little bit. The only time I was even close was, you remember how every kid back when we were younger had those rugby shirts? So we always, you know what I'm talking about? They were like the striped shirts and stuff.

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

And they had the white collar.

00:08:30 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and they were real thicker. My brother and I both one time wore the same exact rugby shirt, and that was fun. But, yeah. What's up, Jeanette?

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 8:

Hi. Hey. Good morning.

00:08:45 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:08:46 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 8:

I match with my son every time we go out. Every time, to the movies, to the mall, out to eat, I match with my son. So if he want to wear blue, I wear blue, and we kind of like do a plaid because that's what he likes. So, yeah, I do it every single time.

00:09:03 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

How old is your son?

00:09:04 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 8:

My son is 11.

00:09:06 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Does he like it? Yes.

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's really good. At what age does he stop liking it?

00:09:11 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say soak it in now.

00:09:13 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

00:09:15 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 8:

And I'm not stopping it Because we do it every time We do it all the time and he loves it Like he picks the colors and we go out Oh that's so cute

00:09:24 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm convinced my wife does this too Like she tricks me Like cause she'll ask me what I'm wearing I'll tell her I'm gonna wear this if we go out for something And she won't wear the exact same thing But she will color coordinate What we're gonna wear basically And I think she is planning this the entire time To match every time we go out

00:09:41 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 5:

But you guys look like a power couple, and I just want to look powerful.

00:09:46 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't know about that. I think we look silly. I think we look silly matching.

00:09:50 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

It's cute when you guys do it, and you guys have the kids also with you. When you're together just as a couple, you kind of look like that couple.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm not trying to be that.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

i know it's it's ali it's ali's trying she's mark she's marking her man raven what's up

00:10:07 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

hey i was just thinking what if they called it mix matching day drinking oh and do like a pub

00:10:15 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 3:

crawl or something like that megan invite people actually what you need to do is you need the link out you need to send it out to all the listeners and then turn it into something but then you guys start off by yourselves as just the you know four or five of you guys and then eventually there's over a hundred people wearing the same exact outfit

00:10:34 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 1:

hear me out I think we just have to change this to Hawaiian shirts mom jeans and Crocs and we just go out as Scott Mix
