And then the sexy, ever so sexy and gorgeous Charlie Keegan is getting things going in Grand Rapids. Made it into the S&X Studios, the palatial palace there on, what is it, the 100th floor in downtown? I forget what floor it is. What floor are we? What are we on, Charlie? Like the ninth floor or something like that? I don't know. Sixth floor? It's good to have you guys here. Stayed downtown last night. Ended up staying downtown in the hotel that I stayed at. Thank you guys so much. You guys were accommodating. It was beautiful. I set my alarm for 4 o'clock, which normally my alarm is at a 3.30 wake up. I said, I'm going to wake up 30 minutes later because I don't have to drive very far. At 3 o'clock in the morning, the fire alarm went off. Can't get away from me. Oh, my gosh. I jumped up. I go, am I late? I figured out. And then I wondered, do I get up and go out of the hotel? Like, do I leave? And I'm like, well, the last thing in the world I want is to die in downtown Detroit in a hotel fire. And so I'm like, I'm getting out of here, but I'm taking everything with me. So I grabbed my coat. I put that on. I had my shorts on and, you know, like my aloe shirt on. And I put my coat on. I grabbed my wallet and keys and all that stuff. and I'm walking towards the exits and there's all these people walking towards the exits with pajamas on and things like that and we're all going towards the stairwell and as we're getting towards the stairwell, I'm like, can I still take the elevator? I really don't want it to go down. If I'm going to die, let me die at least without puffing and puffing.

At least not being out of breath, yeah.

So I end up waiting for the elevator. They're all like, I don't think you should be taking it and then the alarm went off. So thank God I did that.

Like actually went off, stopped?

it stopped yeah yeah and i uh i picked up they had a hallway phone i picked up the hallway phone hit zero and a person answered the phone and i said they were all good they're like all good sorry about that false alarm it's always a false alarm it's great but you know what one time that

it's not i know but uh that was so did you go back to sleep then at that point or were you up

i couldn't i was up shannon it was three o'clock i i turned on i watched the news from last night then you know how they replay the news the night before they were replaying it so do you do like when i hear a false alarm i never grab all of my stuff immediately i walk out of like the room and i look to the left or right and try to see if anybody else is panicking and that's usually like my gauge yeah

I kind of try to see what people look like out there. But then I also say, I don't know, the one time, you know, like that's what I keep thinking. And I have had this happen numerous times where I've stayed, you know, in hotels and that happened to me, bud.

How bad is this, though? The one time it happened to me at my apartment in downtown Detroit, you get the dog ready because that's like first priority, right? Like the leash on, you get everything that you need. And then I looked at myself and I went, a lot of hot people live in my building. went and i changed and then i changed that is so good um so it so it's interesting that uh

you know to stay downtown first off uh it was a ghost town yesterday in detroit i was all excited i'm like oh this is kind of cool i get a level staycation uh get done with work i did a lot of extra stuff here and left here finally at like 2 30 or whatever and i'm like i'm gonna walk up and down woodward and see what's going on you know woodward every business that has a business there had some kind of makeshift sign saying because of the weather we're leaving and it wasn't bad like the storm really didn't happen until late yeah it got really nasty overnight but everybody used this as an opportunity to like not have to work i mean you were saying that you tried to get a car wash yesterday and all the car washes were closed which sounds dumb but like it's just i

always get gas and always get a car wash before a snowstorm just so i feel like i have a clean slate to clean off my car yeah uh and every like all the jack's car washes were closed at five it was five o'clock when i was taking smith to swim practice i was like i'll get a car wash all the

guys were like i'm gonna go home yeah don't use this and then schools were close and so early so all the schools are close uh lydia you stayed at at a different hotel you where did you stay to where in greek town or something like that i stayed at greek town casino and uh how was your

stay how did how did that go for you uh well i woke up at 1 30 in the morning to some girl banging on the window next to me like she was in the room next to me banging on the window stomping her feet back and forth so she was running up and down and she was screaming at a guy who's like whoa whoa whoa and she's like i told you to stop talking to her and i'm like oh now i have to stay up because i have to hear the tea but then it got too annoying to the point where i had to call security because i could not fall back asleep and they kept screaming wait so lord so they were wait who is he talking to who's her you no he was talking to the girl that was in the room oh oh so she must have caught him cheating or something so he was talking to something so oh and they're staying down at the casino yeah they probably just had gotten back up from the casino and then she must have looked through his phone or something valentine's day week yeah

oh my god everybody thought on the post i posted last night of being downtown everybody thought Kev was nice enough to let me stay over at his house. No. Really?

Dude, if you had that view from your window, Kev, every party would be at your place.

You should see, Megan, and I don't know what downtown Toledo is like. You'll have to tell us, but the streets around here aren't even look like they're plowed at all.

It's not snow. Well, I mean, there is snow here, but the snow's on top of a layer of ice. It's very scary.

I was surprised that 75, I take only 75 in, and I would say 80% of it was totally snow covered. It looked like they're nothing. They'd done nothing.

Did you guys see how I drove here this morning? No. I'm almost embarrassed. I made a meme. I'm so embarrassed I put it on our Facebook page. My ice creeper broke so I couldn't get the ice off my car. And so I literally used my hand.

to make a hole in the windshield where i could see out of and i literally drove to work just like how big of a hole circle like the size of a softball or the size of a basketball a basketball oh my god you're so lucky a police officer didn't see you i know i know what happens if that hole gets filled up while you're driving i literally thought that i'm like what if like comically a trash can lid like covers up my windshield and i can't see anywhere the windshield wipers didn't They were going, but they were not getting the ice off. I had my car in, I think, for 15 minutes, and the ice did not thaw, and I didn't have a scraper, so I literally was using my coat, and my hands got so cold, I had to take a little break in my car, but no, I ended up getting here with just that little circle.

I always love the people that are so smart, and I never figure out why they do this, but they take their windshield wipers and push them out, like they pull them out, so they don't get stuck in there.

See, I'm too scared to do that, because I'm scared they're going to snap when I try to pull them off.

It is true, though, by the way. When we were kids, like, it took, like, 12 inches of snow in order to get a snow day. But now they have the virtual thing. We didn't have that, so that's good. Actually, I'm waiting for the schools to actually start doing no snow days, just we're on virtual today.
