disease all right it is the mojo in the morning show somebody on this show has me blocked and i would like to call them out because I've been trying to call them and every time I call I get voicemail and when I mean voicemail I'm not talking about it rings a whole bunch of times and they're just ignoring my call I'm talking about I'm going right to voicemail and I actually did a google on this one I did the google search I went to the googles as Kevin always says and I found the ways that you can tell if somebody has blocked you so I'm going to read those coming up here in just a second but i would like to ask this question before i tell you who this person is who do you have blocked or who has blocked you will you call up and share with us at 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i have been blocked by one megan mick do you guys know her at all Have you guys heard of her?

00:02:40 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 7:

It sounds familiar.

00:02:42 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 8:

You want to? No. Oh, I know exactly what happened, but I'm going to let his boomer butt keep going.

00:02:50 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 6:

I have been calling. I told Megan, I said to Megan, I said, hey, I'm going to give you a call. I wanted to just catch up on a couple of things. And I had actually one thing specifically to talk to her about. That is that she was going to win a money contest. Unfortunately, she didn't answer my call, so she doesn't win. Oh, I was like, wait, what? And I call her phone, it goes right to voicemail, and yesterday it came to a point where I let myself get to the level of leaving her a voicemail message, and the voicemail message that I left was, I'm bringing this up as a topic, every time I call you, it goes right to voicemail.

00:03:35 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 8:

Do you want me to play the voicemail? Please, please. I should have grabbed the audio, but I'll just play it into the microphone. Hold on.

00:03:42 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 6:

That's good.

00:03:43 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 8:

Is this on speaker? We'll do it on speaker. Block people's phone numbers. Oh, wait, wait. Hold on. Shoot, shoot, pause. Stupid iPhone. Who's the boomer now? Apparently it's me.

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 6:

Watch the dumb button just in case.

00:03:54 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

00:03:55 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 6:

I'm convinced that you have my number blocked. Because every time I call you, it fast goes to voicemail. Maybe this should be a topic. I should make this a ton of people who block people's phone numbers because I've tried to call you the last three or four days. It always goes, hi, thanks for calling. Leave me a text message. Okay. That was really good. I love, by the way, I love the text message people. You and Shannon both have this. Don't leave me a message on the machine that is meant for messages. Just send me a text message that I won't return.

00:04:31 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 7:

Because if I listen, first off, I'm not going to listen to your voicemail. I just won't. And so I am, anything you need from me, you're not going to get.

00:04:40 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 6:

So Megan, what's the story here? What's going on? What did I do?

00:04:43 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 8:

So the story is I was on the personal, you cannot block or you cannot send me any notifications from anybody yesterday when you called. So I have it set up to do not disturb while I'm at work and while I'm on the premises of.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 4:

Like you can do where you physically are. And so I have do not disturb on and you called me yesterday while I was here.

00:05:06 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 1:

Did you have it Friday afternoon?

00:05:09 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

You didn't call me Friday afternoon. You are a liar. You're a liar. I just sent you my call log. And the last time I have a missed call from you is August 14th of 2024.

00:05:20 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so a question for you. On do not disturb, you can still see if somebody called you during the time period you have it on that. Because I usually do airplane mode if I'm napping. Yeah. So I was actually scared that this topic was going to be about me. Because if I take a nap. I thought it was about me. I put it on airplane. Holy jeez. He called you that many times?

00:05:37 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 4:

No, this is Halloween. This is 9-7, 9-5. You can search by people who call you in your phone logs. So I just typed in his name and it gives me every time we've ever called each other.

00:05:48 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. What, did you think I was stalker calling her?

00:05:50 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, honestly, there's like 27 missed calls on this thing.

00:05:55 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

But the last time I have a missed call is August 14th of last year.

00:05:59 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, all I know is this. All I know is that I'm lonely without you.

00:06:08 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 5:

You are such a liar. You are such a liar. This topic has really just made me jealous of like, why haven't you been calling me? Right.

00:06:16 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was going to call you and ask you to have her call me.

00:06:19 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

But does it feel good that he just lied the whole time?

00:06:23 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

No, I did not lie. Here, by the way, are ways that you can tell, how you can tell if somebody has your number blocked. Number one, calls go to voicemail after one ring. Number two, text messages fail to deliver. Interesting, because I've had that happen to me, Ms. Megan Meg. Number three, they don't appear in your suggested contact list. Number four, you were blocked on social media apps. Now, that I don't think so. I don't think I'm there. Number five, a different number or device gets through. I have not done that. I should have done that. I should have grabbed like Chelsea's phone and said, oh, give me your phone. I'm going to call her right now.

00:07:03 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

Now, unfortunately, because you didn't follow the instructions on my voicemail, if you would have texted me, it would have sent you a notification saying her notifications are currently turned off. Would you like to push this through and notify anyways, which you didn't do, which is why you text and you don't call.

00:07:21 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Here's the deal. I'm going to call Scott Mick and I'm going to say, Scott, can you call your daughter for me? Oh, his calls go through. What's up? What's up, Rachel? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning. Can you believe

00:07:32 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Megan blocked me? I can't believe it. Megan, come on now. Good morning, guys. Good morning. I'm going to block him for real after this. So I have, um, I had a friend, a female friend and her boyfriend randomly messaged me or gambed me on the gram and was super flirty and then showed a uh a d-pic i'm like what so i don't know why i didn't think of this at the time but i didn't screenshot it and i deleted it and sent the message to my friend i was like hey just so you know your dude's like being really weird i'm inappropriate yada yada well she blocked me she didn't ask any questions she just straight up blocked me that's wild that was she didn't believe our friendship no obviously not no that's not a good that's that's not a good friend i know exactly good riddance right yeah but yeah that is that is kind of crazy that she did that i wonder

00:08:32 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

if he tried to make it seem like you were the one that was being flirty with him well it turned out

00:08:38 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't the only one that he was doing this to, so eventually it all came out. So, karma got it.

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Unknown:

So, yeah.

00:08:45 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

But still, it's crazy.

00:08:47 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call, by the way, Rachel. Grab C's call on line 22 there. C, what's going on? How you doing? C, line 2. 2-2. Nobody there? They hung up the phone?

00:09:01 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 5:

No, they're there.

00:09:02 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

They're there. Go ahead. Pick it up. Hello. Hello. Did we block you? What's going on?

00:09:08 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 2:

hey so i had this person i was talking to we'll just call him mark and we were we were not dating or anything we were just in like a platonic you know relationship you know i had my thing he had his name and eventually i was you know fill out you know i found somebody i was talking to at work and i told him i was like you know i'm trying to talk to this person i'm not in a relationship with this person i'm talking to him and he's like i thought you didn't want a relationship I'm like, I don't, but, you know, it's not just me and you. So he got mad. I guess he started following my Instagram and my Facebook page. He started seeing me being happy with this guy going on dates. He started blowing my phone up. So I had to block him. But blocking him did not help. He just started calling from random different numbers.

00:09:57 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's so scary. He showed up at my house. He had bought me this stuffed animal. He asked for the stuffed animal and I demanded it. I wasn't even home. My mom was there. And she was like, why is this guy? I'm like, I don't have no idea. Like, I told him what it was. And he's convinced that I'm going to come back and we're going to be in a relationship. But he still calls me to this day through different numbers.

00:10:19 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 9:

Question for you. Was the stuffed animal a Build-A-Bear?

00:10:22 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 5:

No, it was one of those seven-foot animals. Oh, okay. But again, I didn't tell him to buy it for me. he bought it for me because i told him i don't want to be in a relationship and he thought he was trying to win my affection god these guys are crazy blocking people doesn't really even help you know like i yeah and then like when i blocked him he like he found out and he was even more furious i have like seven different numbers of him that i have to save perfectly like okay this is him don't answer this phone because blocking does not help oh my god i'm sorry that's that

00:10:53 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 3:

you're going through that there's nothing worse than having that happen to you michael uh you actually michael had to block somebody that was just like that was it a crazy ex michael

00:11:04 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

yeah so um i said someone uh one uh first time call a long time i had someone who was literally obsessed with me for about two years it got to the point where like when we were in the thick of it he was calling over a hundred times a the day um and when i finally i mean it got crazy got to the point where i had her blocked on everything she'd even send me emails like literally emails with like paragraphs of stuff um different you know different numbers different social media accounts so luckily i've moved on from that and i don't have to worry about anymore but god man i mean when you're sending someone an email she sends like paper letters too at one point like on my car window at my apartment it's just bad I feel bad for anyone who's been through that type of stalking

00:11:59 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 3:

what was that Netflix show?

00:12:02 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 8:

Baby Reindeer

00:12:03 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 3:

you got you a little Rudolph on your hands bro yeah it's crazy I'm going to resort to sending emails now to Megan that's how I'm going to get her on April who blocked April oh hi

00:12:20 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 6:

so my son My son has me blocked. He lives in the backyard in an apartment garage. And in order for me to reach him, I have to either have my daughter text him or send him an email because he has me blocked. Why?

00:12:37 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Because she's annoying.

00:12:39 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 6:

I voted for someone he didn't like. And we have different political views. And it's been downhill ever since. Ma'am, you can evict him. Evict him. I know, but all my kids are living in my rental property, so I just let them live back there. But here's the kicker. He's on my phone plan, so should I just get disconnected?

00:13:03 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 3:

If my kid doesn't pick up my phone, I cancel his phone plan. If you got Xfinity, you can do that.

00:13:10 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's what my daughter said. I should just cut him off.

00:13:12 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, cut his ass off.

00:13:13 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 6:

I wonder why he doesn't talk to you.

00:13:16 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Hold on. Brandy's got some advice.

00:13:18 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 6:

He talks to me. I just can't call him. He has me blocked. We talk, but if I need them to... You got to yell out your window. You got to go all day. Pick up your phone.

00:13:27 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Brandy's got some advice for me. Brandy, what's your advice that you have on getting Megan? Pick up my phone calls.

00:13:34 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo. First time, long time. Hey, Brandy, on the phone. So, the easy way to do it is just star 67, Megan. Just star 67-er. That's the little piece right in it. It'll go through every time.

00:13:48 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 7:

He just had a call again. You don't even have to star 67. Tim, you just have to call again or shoot me a text. And it says, do you want to push through notifications? True that, homie, but it works. Start 67.

00:14:00 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 8:

Also, I'm pretty sure everybody on the show has my location. You could see that I was at the office.

00:14:06 - 00:14:06 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:14:07 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, have a happy day.

00:14:09 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 7:

You too.

00:14:09 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I appreciate it. I'm going to call your secretary, Shannon, there. I'm going to say, Shannon, can you do me a favor? Can you see if Megan will return my phone?

00:14:17 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 9:

Can I tell you something? Oddly, she has been responding to text very quickly, almost too quickly lately. And it's throwing me off.

00:14:26 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 3:

It is throwing me off. She doesn't like me anymore. She used to love me. I don't know what it is. Maybe she's mad. Maybe she's mad at me or something like that. Yeah, I actually, you know what? I think there's a secret crush, maybe. Secret crush, yeah.

00:14:38 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Oh, my God. Chelsea, you better watch out. Hold back, Chelsea.

00:14:44 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 1:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:15:51 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 5:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center. But it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years, were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State, with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

00:16:36 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:
