The World Cup is underway, and it's been incredible. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Is it a red flag when somebody starts liking the old pictures? They start spam liking your pictures. Oh, gosh. So Lydia, who is our phone screener, has now been hit by the same person who has hit every other member of this show, every other female of the show. DJ New Era from Alabama's show down in Birmingham, Alabama. DJ New Era, for those that have heard before us talking about him on the show and those that haven't, He does mornings in Birmingham, Alabama on a radio show that is very popular. It's Alabama in the morning. And he, for some reason, has a thing for all of the women on the Mojo in the Morning Show. And what has he been doing with you? Oh, I got to put you on this mic. Okay, there you go.

Sorry. Lately, he's been spam-liking my pictures on Instagram. So the other day, I woke up to a bunch of notifications, and all it was was DJ New Era, DJ New Era, DJ New Era. Liked your photo, liked your photo, liked your photo. But here's the catch. This was not his first time doing it. He's done this before, so he'll just like three of my pictures at a time. And it'll be probably once a month that he does this. And I have no idea why.

Well, because he wants attention.

But he doesn't follow me. He doesn't message me. Nothing. Wait, he doesn't follow you when he's doing that? Yeah. Yeah. So I'm wondering, do guys do this because they want attention in the terms of wanting me to follow them or do they want me to like photos back? Is this a like for like, a follow for a follow?

I don't know. What does that mean when somebody starts liking all of your photos and yet they still don't follow you?

Yeah.

Well, I don't know about the follow part, but I've always thought that when someone's doing that, like they just want their name to flood your notifications feed. you know they want you to notice to notice them um oh really yeah i always thought that they they

liked you and they're just liking the photos and they're trying to flirt a little bit but that's

what i mean they want you to notice that they're doing that oh okay i thought you meant that they're just wanting you to follow them or or no like they want it to be very apparent that that's what they're doing yeah it always creeps me out if somebody likes something from a couple of years

ago because you know they're doing a deep dive i know right yeah i was like oh maybe he's looking back at photos from when i was like i was just gonna say please call him what's worse so

embarrassing i still have them up what's worse the spam or you like a bunch and try to get the attention or you go back and go back is it i think so yeah i think like you took that time

i think if you if you like a bunch like a bunch like if you go with a ton of them then he's just going back and he's just spending a lot of time deep diving but if he just specifically chooses a couple like of your sexier photos then he's just you know he's looking out for something oh oh my god maybe you know what i don't think that alabama knows it's here i'll dial on my my cell phone the only problem is mike and uh megan won't be able to talk because of it's on the cell phone uh or maybe you guys can you guys can hear right yeah mike and megan okay

he's probably on my instagram right now liking pictures you think so yeah he's not gonna i love it i love dj new era he's just he's special just start liking his photos then it'll get his attention oh my well no because the problem is that that's like uh It's like feeding a dog. They'll never stop. That's like you give him one little taste of that, then he all of a sudden says, Ara, we're on the radio right now on the Mojo in the Morning Show. How you doing?

I'm going to give you a little clue on this because these guys do morning radio like we do I can't believe how many of our people that are you know fellow radio people that during a song or a break or even while in a conversation are on their Instagram or TikTok or whatever commenting and doing you're doing a radio show trying to talk to your listeners and you're not even talking to the listeners you're just hitting up Like in Ara's case, you know, Lydia, another, you know, beautiful radio person.

Yeah, it's the technology. The phone's always in their hand.

It's the technology or... As Alabama said, is it the cleavage pictures?

Probably both.

DJ Arrow reminds me of this guy I used to DJ with who would literally shoot his shot with every girl that walked up to the DJ booth. And I said, what are you doing, man? You're going to do that at the club with all these different women in the same area? He goes, it works one time out of a thousand. And that's all I need it to work.
