this of course when you get old you're trying to alter history and trying to change the the storyline of the family but it's true i've talked many times about how my mom would take all the mcdonald's straws home and she would wash them out reuse them over and over and over again and if we wanted a straw in our drink she would have wouldn't have enough she would cut them in half so the family would have twice as many straws and then of course they would fall down into the glass they were little straws yeah so obsolete you didn't the reason for the straw is to not get You'd have to hold it with your drink right there. Rinsing it out in this thing. She's like, what are you doing? Now, in my defense, it just held some pretzels, so it wasn't dirty. I was just getting the little salt things out of the bottom because it had pretzels in it. And here's the big difference. I'm going to reuse the Ziploc bag. I wouldn't make my kids reuse a bag, so it was just for me. So, well, maybe I would if they didn't know it was used, but the point is I would never do that to my children. I would never let them know I'm reusing the Ziploc bag, so I don't think I'm exactly like my mother.

I don't rip it apart. When somebody gives me a gift, I just open it. very carefully, and if it's really cool wrapping paper, I will save it and reuse it and rewrap a gift. I do the same with bows, by the way. So if you put a bow on a gift for me,

I have a whole bin of bows and ribbon that I reuse.

They let all these water companies come in, bottle our water, sell it back to us, and then they don't even give us the money back on all the horrible plastics.
