All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. So, Spike, you kicked your girlfriend Meg out of bed this weekend.

00:02:06 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 6:

It's a true story.

00:02:07 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 4:

She didn't kick you out of bed?

00:02:09 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 6:

No, it's shocking, isn't it?

00:02:11 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 4:

What happened?

00:02:12 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, since my divorce, my dog Dublin, who everyone remembers as being a big internet superstar, Dublin lives at my ex's house because there's people home there all day. And it wouldn't be fair to him because I'm not home until late in the afternoon every day. So I take him on random weekends to see him. And when I do, Megan gets kicked out of bed so he can sleep with me. And she is sent in to sleep on the floor in her son's room.

00:02:41 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 4:

Does Dublin get jealous of your relationship with Megan and that's why Megan's not also in there? Or what's the story?

00:02:47 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 6:

It's more of a sleep through the night thing because he's not at my place every day. He gets restless and then he wakes up and then he wants to move around. He starts scratching and he wants to explore at three o'clock in the morning. So I said, listen, because Meg's not the best sleeper either. So between the two of them, I'm the only one that's getting interrupted to my sleep. I said, why don't you go get a good night's sleep in the other room? but she has to laugh because she's like preparing the bedroom for me and she's like making the bed and putting because we'll put a little blanket on on top of the bed for him to lay on and it's like his comfort but also it keeps his dander and fur and everything off the bed and then she's making the bed like okay here's the beds already for you and your weekend date should I put a

00:03:33 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 4:

little treat on the pillow for him I always like when you say dander and fur you sound like a commercial for like some pet commercial like it's very scientific if you would like to get rid of

00:03:42 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 6:

your dog's dander and fur well because i'm i'm not a huge sleep on the bed person anyway because once it's just like a kid once you start that then they want that all the time but because the house is so unfamiliar to him and there's so many noises he's not used to and he's just a cranky old dog now that it's just easier to just let him sleep in the bedroom so he sees me if he wakes up in he sees me and he goes back to bed hopefully are there any other listeners that get kicked out of

00:04:08 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 4:

bed for a dog because i i will tell you this that if the dog starts taking priority over over uh the bed that's when you know it's all over that you gotta you gotta stop that right from the get-go

00:04:20 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 6:

but this is the best is she can't say anything because she's lobbying for us to get a dog right now so i'm like oh oh really yeah so she can't complain about the dog's behavior but that dog

00:04:32 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 5:

A new dog would sleep in a crate. You would make sure that the dog didn't sleep in bed and cause this issue?

00:04:36 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, obviously we would start from scratch with training in the dog. Right.

00:04:39 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 4:

What is keeping you from wanting to add to your family?

00:04:43 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 6:

Nothing's keeping me. I just said, let's wait. We have a couple big travel plans coming up in the next year. So I said, let's wait until...

00:04:49 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 4:

Are you hoping that she forgets about it?

00:04:50 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she hasn't forgotten. She's not going to forget about it. No. Nicole was spending the whole day Saturday Googling which breed of dog we should get. I mean, she's got the kids working against me.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

What will happen to Dublin, though?

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

And this new dog, I know, but this new dog, though, is going to feel slighted. This is what happens in divorce. The stepkids and the stepchildren. Dogs love other dogs. Stepdogs. No, but if Dublin's on the bed and Scruffy is in its crate.

00:05:20 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

No, you know what will happen then. I'll get kicked out of the bed. There'll be Megan and a bunch of dogs in our bed.

00:05:25 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

That's actually kind of fun. That would be kind of fun to see you have to sleep on the couch. Your house, right? This is my house, and I have to sleep on the couch for dogs. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

00:05:43 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

Man's best friend takes priority.

00:05:46 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, it sounds like it's man's best friend, right?

00:05:48 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

This is making me feel like a really bad dog parent because just last night, Wes stayed the night at my house, And I don't really love having Charlie in bed When Wes is over for a lot of reasons So I put Charlie on the ground Like in his little dog bed Which normally he sleeps with me if Wes isn't there And that poor dog looked at me like What the F? You kick Charlie out of bed

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 3:

For another man?

00:06:11 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 2:

I do Well it would be rude to keep him in bed with things that happen So I feel like he shouldn't see that So he goes on the floor Can you sleep with the kids at all? Well, the kids are at Andrews this week.

00:06:24 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Poor dog.

00:06:25 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

And he won't sleep with the kids anyway.

00:06:26 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Monica?

00:06:29 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Oh, my husband's hunting dog kicks me out of the bed all the time. Although, he does lock him out just long enough for us to bake.

00:06:37 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hopefully, yeah, he would do that.

00:06:40 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Monica, how does that make you feel that there's this hairy beast that is kicking you out of bed?

00:06:48 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:

You're talking about the dog or the husband? which one's

00:06:53 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

hairier yes exactly who do you think that he loves more

00:06:58 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 5:

well I hope he loves me more but if it's on hunting season he probably loves Hunter more for sure

00:07:04 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

and his name is Hunter isn't that a great name what an appropriate name thank you for the call

00:07:11 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Spike what kind of daughter are you guys thinking about getting

00:07:12 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 3:

I don't know hypoallergenic don't you know I got some sniffles

00:07:17 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm trying to limit that conversation because I don't want to get the girls any more excited.

00:07:22 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you should use your bad back against this. I'm sorry. Say that you got a bad back and you can't have a dog.

00:07:28 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 4:

No joke, because Dublin, getting in his older age, has to be carried up and down stairs. So it was killing me this weekend. Yeah, he had his knees operated on. So I'm the a-hole carrying him around like some foo-foo limousine. I'm a dog limousine.

00:07:43 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

Megan, I cut you off. I'm sorry. What were you going to say?

00:07:45 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 7:

A bad joke about Have you heard of Italian greyhounds? It's not a big deal

00:07:50 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Maybe you should get the same breed As Coraline

00:07:55 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 4:

I like Coraline but She's a little too little Are you saying Megan's dog's ugly? No, I said little My dog is ugly I realized I realized when the weather was zero degrees Friday and I had to take Dublin out Like five times to pee I'm like, you know what? I'm getting a bigger dog that can hold it longer.

00:08:17 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 7:

Bro, it's normal for my dog's breed to get, like, gum disease and, like, tooth issues. They all lose their teeth, and then their tongues just hang out all the time.

00:08:24 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

You're really selling it. Lisa, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:08:30 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi, yes. I just called to say that my 10-pound chihuahua kicks my husband out of bed all the time.

00:08:38 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

That is not fair.

00:08:41 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 1:

It's hilarious. I love it. And he's just a 10-pound little thing.

00:08:46 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Isn't a chihuahua just small enough that you guys can all fit in the bed? What's up with that?

00:08:52 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Yes, we all fit in the bed. My husband's a beanpole. I'm a little on the heavier side, and my 10-pound chihuahua sleeps between us sideways. And my husband goes on the floor.

00:09:06 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

Listen to that laugh. I love you guys. No remorse.

00:09:09 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

My daughter's on her way to school Just smiling and laughing What's her name? Her name is Gabriella

00:09:17 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Hi Gabriella Have a great day at school

00:09:19 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

That chihuahua's not going to be pushing you around in your old age Taking care of you when you're a senior citizen

00:09:25 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Gabriella is That's true Madison, this is a big dog to have in a bed

00:09:32 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes So every time that I come home late She finds her way On my pillow

00:09:42 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Tell everybody what kind of dog you have

00:09:44 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

She is a great game Oh wow She's 130 pounds So opposite of Lisa With a 10 pound dog Wow But I do have to agree with you With

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 2:

the fur in the dandruff with having such a big dog because there's a lot of hair that comes off

00:10:07 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 1:

of her is it almost like a punishment because you came home late like now you miss your spot in the

00:10:12 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 2:

bed yes and although whenever he's not home i do she's like a she's the size of a human so it's

00:10:20 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 3:

kind of nice that she likes to cuddle wow all right that's a big animal to have in your and And I'm talking about that man of yours. That is a big.

00:10:30 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yes. And she's like a pony in the house. So. Yeah.

00:10:35 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 3:

God. Those things are, those things are monsters. Thank you for the call. Remember the second date update that we had where the, they went back to her place and he thought, oh, this is going to be great. I'm going to actually spend the night with her. And she made him a bed on the couch because the dog slept and the guy's like, wait a second. I thought this was going to be great. I would have just gone home to my own house.
