What happened?

Well, since my divorce, my dog Dublin, who everyone remembers as being a big internet superstar, Dublin lives at my ex's house because there's people home there all day. And it wouldn't be fair to him because I'm not home until late in the afternoon every day. So I take him on random weekends to see him. And when I do, Megan gets kicked out of bed so he can sleep with me. And she is sent in to sleep on the floor in her son's room.

Does Dublin get jealous of your relationship with Megan and that's why Megan's not also in there? Or what's the story?

It's more of a sleep through the night thing because he's not at my place every day. He gets restless and then he wakes up and then he wants to move around. He starts scratching and he wants to explore at three o'clock in the morning. So I said, listen, because Meg's not the best sleeper either. So between the two of them, I'm the only one that's getting interrupted to my sleep. I said, why don't you go get a good night's sleep in the other room? but she has to laugh because she's like preparing the bedroom for me and she's like making the bed and putting because we'll put a little blanket on on top of the bed for him to lay on and it's like his comfort but also it keeps his dander and fur and everything off the bed and then she's making the bed like okay here's the beds already for you and your weekend date should I put a

little treat on the pillow for him I always like when you say dander and fur you sound like a commercial for like some pet commercial like it's very scientific if you would like to get rid of

your dog's dander and fur well because i'm i'm not a huge sleep on the bed person anyway because once it's just like a kid once you start that then they want that all the time but because the house is so unfamiliar to him and there's so many noises he's not used to and he's just a cranky old dog now that it's just easier to just let him sleep in the bedroom so he sees me if he wakes up in he sees me and he goes back to bed hopefully are there any other listeners that get kicked out of

bed for a dog because i i will tell you this that if the dog starts taking priority over over uh the bed that's when you know it's all over that you gotta you gotta stop that right from the get-go

but this is the best is she can't say anything because she's lobbying for us to get a dog right now so i'm like oh oh really yeah so she can't complain about the dog's behavior but that dog

A new dog would sleep in a crate. You would make sure that the dog didn't sleep in bed and cause this issue?

Yeah, obviously we would start from scratch with training in the dog. Right.

What is keeping you from wanting to add to your family?

Nothing's keeping me. I just said, let's wait. We have a couple big travel plans coming up in the next year. So I said, let's wait until...

Are you hoping that she forgets about it?

Oh, she hasn't forgotten. She's not going to forget about it. No. Nicole was spending the whole day Saturday Googling which breed of dog we should get. I mean, she's got the kids working against me.

And this new dog, I know, but this new dog, though, is going to feel slighted. This is what happens in divorce. The stepkids and the stepchildren. Dogs love other dogs. Stepdogs. No, but if Dublin's on the bed and Scruffy is in its crate.
