the person that no i usually tells everybody the ending i usually get mad when people throw spoilers out there and i was laughing because our office manager julie was telling us somebody left a nasty message on the company voicemail because somebody ruined the ending of a movie on the air, but they didn't say what DJ or what radio station, so we don't know who to blame, and they were so angry, they yelled for 20 minutes, but didn't even say who it was that did it, so I always, you know, nudge everybody to give a spoiler warning, some people take a little while to catch up on things, but this was different, I tolerate the bachelor it's my girlfriend's guilty pleasure she loves watching the bachelor so on monday nights and sometimes tuesday nights um it's on in the house everybody has to be quiet and i will just sit on the couch and work on my laptop and occasionally make smart ass comments and annoy her with my commentary and um i got so bored halfway through this season of the bachelor that i just googled who won the bachelor and i looked it up and found out pretty quickly there's a lot of sources and then i confirmed with shannon here in the dirty she told me i said is this who wins she said yep so i kind of knew two months ago maybe and i kept it quiet but um i got home from the pistons game last night and this was the the finale last night and she's been looking forward to this for the whole season and i was looking forward to because it would be over and I wouldn't have to watch The Bachelor anymore. Well, I made a joke thinking they were down to the final three girls, and I said, oh, my God, how did this girl even make it this far? And I did all that. Well, I didn't realize there was only two left, so I gave away the ending before it happened because it was very clear when I said about the one girl that she, I can't believe she even made it this far, and I didn't realize, well, that means automatically the other girl is the Bachelorette that gets chosen. Not all the time. Not all the time. Nope. Just had to clear that up.

Well, I told her I knew two months ago And I was doing a good job of keeping a secret I told her I wasn't going to tell her She said I started making comments like three episodes ago Where I'd perk up and be like, is that the nurse? And which one's that? Is that this? So she knew I only knew certain people Because my comment was that when I found out who it was Which woman was being chosen at the end i was surprised that she had a public instagram and it still only had 7 000 followers i was telling her like we've had like intern billy had more followers and we've had like people in in the office that aren't even on the air have more followers and i'm like i thought when this show

kicked in that more people either must not be engaged by her or the show maybe yeah maybe the shows.

Well, now they do, because when it got down to the final three last week, everybody started paying attention.

Here's the thing, to be honest with you, with all the spoiler alerts. You're my best friend. Does anybody really care, honestly?

No, you know. I would be mad if you spoil the end of a movie for me or a show, because you invest a whole season watching. you don't want to know what the finale is going to be before it happens.

How long do you have to wait for that kind of stuff then, too? Because I want to talk about a movie that I saw this past weekend very, very, very badly. But I also understand not everybody can go to the movies the first opening weekend. But at what point do you go, okay, but we need to talk about what happened.

I think you let it go for a couple of weeks.

Well, not in our jobs. I'm saying when you're, if you're in, like, if Megan's talking about a circle of friends, yeah, you let it go for a couple of weeks.

Or you just say, or you say spoiler alert, and then you give them a second to kind of back off and, you know. Right. Because there's some shows that are really talked about.

Well, there's a lot, some are talked about a lot. So, like, my daughter rushed to watch the final episode of The Last of Us because she knew everybody was going to talk about it immediately.

And you know it's going to get spoiled. Yeah. You know the people are going to be talking about The Bachelor ending today. so if you don't want it to be spoiled you better just sit in your bedroom and not come out of the house or watch it when it happens

that's why my girlfriend watched it as it was happening because she didn't want it to be spoiled except her dumb boyfriend comes home from the Pistons game and starts making comments before it's over and by the way they got smart with that show this season because apparently they used to do the whole finale and show who wins and then they would do an hour of interviews and have them reunite And do all this And she told me that nobody would watch that final hour It was just dreadful All the interviews and the garbage recap stuff Last night was the first time They interspersed it all throughout And you had to watch all three hours They did not show you the ending Until the very end

And remember I said, I don't know, at some point, I said the next day, like, oh, you know, he lost last night. People were actually sending me death threats to the point where, remember, we had to go on social media and on the air and say, please stop. Like, it was over Jeopardy, guys. Well, I do understand that No, it had already happened But it didn't air yet Yes, it had aired

Then it's fair game Yeah, people are crazy If they're that passionate, they should have watched But you just played that clip, it's not even just TV shows You were just talking about the person That went on, the listener said Somebody ruined a pregnancy announcement At a wedding, and you're just like How do you not understand Your place to make those spoiler alerts Like, that's not your announcement to make.

It's always my girlfriend. Every time we're watching the show together, she'll finish the show before me, and then she'll tell me, oh, I'm about to tell you the end. I'm like, don't tell me the end. I don't want to know. And she's the type of person that she'll watch a movie, and she'll want to know the end before it even ends.

Oh, I hate that. I can't do that.

I'm like that. I actually, honestly, I have no problem watching the end of something and then going back and watching, because I look then for little clues.

Clues, yeah. The whole movie. Yeah, Stephen, that's my five-year-old son, Smith. Can't watch anything with him, literally. I finally just got around to watching Coco a couple of months ago, and two minutes into the movie, he goes, eh, the grandma dies at the end. I'm like, what the heck? Spoiler alert. Guys, that movie was released in 2017.

You actually just reminded me, though, that my girlfriend does that with other shows. she looks ahead like she she decided to start watching Grey's Anatomy earlier this year well she started looking ahead into and watching the shows out of order because she heard oh like oh I heard about the death of George and Izzy so let me watch go ahead a whole season to watch that so I'm like wait now I'm realizing I have a way out of this argument that I didn't spoil it for

her she would have just spoiled it for herself what's up Tony hi um my now ex-boyfriend ruined the last season of Stranger Things for me.

It made me dislike him because here's the thing. So he wasn't caught up yet when the new season came out. So I rewatched the last season for him and waited for him to watch it with him. And he spoiled it in a text while I was at work. He said, I can't believe Eddie dies. I said, what?

Yeah, so I went in for my 20-week ultrasound, and I told the nurse, I told the doctor that we wanted to keep the gender a surprise until the delivery. So she does the ultrasound, and she was having trouble with something, so another nurse came in, and she's like, oh, he's not hiding this, Jones.

Oh, no. I would have been so mad.

I didn't find out for both of mine. I would have been so mad.

And they apologized, and, I mean, mistakes happened, but it definitely was my biggest surprise ruiner.
