guarantee mojo on the morning show spike ruined the end you're one of those guys are you the

00:02:08 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 5:

the person that no i usually tells everybody the ending i usually get mad when people throw spoilers out there and i was laughing because our office manager julie was telling us somebody left a nasty message on the company voicemail because somebody ruined the ending of a movie on the air, but they didn't say what DJ or what radio station, so we don't know who to blame, and they were so angry, they yelled for 20 minutes, but didn't even say who it was that did it, so I always, you know, nudge everybody to give a spoiler warning, some people take a little while to catch up on things, but this was different, I tolerate the bachelor it's my girlfriend's guilty pleasure she loves watching the bachelor so on monday nights and sometimes tuesday nights um it's on in the house everybody has to be quiet and i will just sit on the couch and work on my laptop and occasionally make smart ass comments and annoy her with my commentary and um i got so bored halfway through this season of the bachelor that i just googled who won the bachelor and i looked it up and found out pretty quickly there's a lot of sources and then i confirmed with shannon here in the dirty she told me i said is this who wins she said yep so i kind of knew two months ago maybe and i kept it quiet but um i got home from the pistons game last night and this was the the finale last night and she's been looking forward to this for the whole season and i was looking forward to because it would be over and I wouldn't have to watch The Bachelor anymore. Well, I made a joke thinking they were down to the final three girls, and I said, oh, my God, how did this girl even make it this far? And I did all that. Well, I didn't realize there was only two left, so I gave away the ending before it happened because it was very clear when I said about the one girl that she, I can't believe she even made it this far, and I didn't realize, well, that means automatically the other girl is the Bachelorette that gets chosen. Not all the time. Not all the time. Nope. Just had to clear that up.

00:04:08 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

And you said you already knew?

00:04:10 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, I told her I knew two months ago And I was doing a good job of keeping a secret I told her I wasn't going to tell her She said I started making comments like three episodes ago Where I'd perk up and be like, is that the nurse? And which one's that? Is that this? So she knew I only knew certain people Because my comment was that when I found out who it was Which woman was being chosen at the end i was surprised that she had a public instagram and it still only had 7 000 followers i was telling her like we've had like intern billy had more followers and we've had like people in in the office that aren't even on the air have more followers and i'm like i thought when this show

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

kicked in that more people either must not be engaged by her or the show maybe yeah maybe the shows.

00:05:00 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Which one are you talking about?

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't want to say the ending if people get it.

00:05:02 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, because I was going to say, both of the final two have like 100 plus thousand.

00:05:06 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, now they do, because when it got down to the final three last week, everybody started paying attention.

00:05:12 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

Here's the thing, to be honest with you, with all the spoiler alerts. You're my best friend. Does anybody really care, honestly?

00:05:20 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 3:

No, you know. I would be mad if you spoil the end of a movie for me or a show, because you invest a whole season watching. you don't want to know what the finale is going to be before it happens.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 4:

What?

00:05:33 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 1:

How long do you have to wait for that kind of stuff then, too? Because I want to talk about a movie that I saw this past weekend very, very, very badly. But I also understand not everybody can go to the movies the first opening weekend. But at what point do you go, okay, but we need to talk about what happened.

00:05:50 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

I think you let it go for a couple of weeks.

00:05:53 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

No, not in our jobs.

00:05:55 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, not in our jobs. I'm saying when you're, if you're in, like, if Megan's talking about a circle of friends, yeah, you let it go for a couple of weeks.

00:06:01 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Or you just say, or you say spoiler alert, and then you give them a second to kind of back off and, you know. Right. Because there's some shows that are really talked about.

00:06:10 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's a lot, some are talked about a lot. So, like, my daughter rushed to watch the final episode of The Last of Us because she knew everybody was going to talk about it immediately.

00:06:18 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

And you know it's going to get spoiled. Yeah. You know the people are going to be talking about The Bachelor ending today. so if you don't want it to be spoiled you better just sit in your bedroom and not come out of the house or watch it when it happens

00:06:29 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

that's why my girlfriend watched it as it was happening because she didn't want it to be spoiled except her dumb boyfriend comes home from the Pistons game and starts making comments before it's over and by the way they got smart with that show this season because apparently they used to do the whole finale and show who wins and then they would do an hour of interviews and have them reunite And do all this And she told me that nobody would watch that final hour It was just dreadful All the interviews and the garbage recap stuff Last night was the first time They interspersed it all throughout And you had to watch all three hours They did not show you the ending Until the very end

00:07:09 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

I didn't watch this season

00:07:11 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Okay so real quick No complaints on Shannon ruining the Masked Singer all the time For you guys Because honestly If you're watching The Masked Singer, you should be ruined.

00:07:25 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when, I can't even remember if it was Ken Jennings or if it was somebody else. There was somebody on Jeopardy that had like a streak, right? And Jeopardy's taped. And remember I said, I don't know, at some point, I said the next day, like, oh, you know, he lost last night. People were actually sending me death threats to the point where, remember, we had to go on social media and on the air and say, please stop. Like, it was over Jeopardy, guys. Well, I do understand that No, it had already happened But it didn't air yet Yes, it had aired

00:07:57 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 3:

Then it's fair game Yeah, people are crazy If they're that passionate, they should have watched But you just played that clip, it's not even just TV shows You were just talking about the person That went on, the listener said Somebody ruined a pregnancy announcement At a wedding, and you're just like How do you not understand Your place to make those spoiler alerts Like, that's not your announcement to make.

00:08:20 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I want to know who was it that ruined or was the spoiler alert or that didn't alert you ahead of time, and what was the thing that they ruined? Like, what was the number one thing that would have driven you crazy? The worst is not necessarily, like, you know, like, to me, if you watched, like, seven seasons of something, like I don't know like Breaking Bad I give as an example and somebody saw it and then told you at the end like what it what it was and you put you invested a lot of time into it you guys that's worse that's worse than that's worse to me than even like a two-hour movie Lost was the Lost was

00:09:04 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

that for me I was on season three when it ended and everybody was like crazy ending right I was like well no point in finishing the next four seasons I know how it ends yeah but yeah but you

00:09:16 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 4:

have to understand something though with this you almost with these shows have to understand that there are people that are watching lost now yeah right so right like i never watched lost that's

00:09:28 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 3:

kind of on my list but now i know the ending but also lost wasn't streaming where you can watch eight seasons in a row you had to tune in to regular tv back then so it's on you if you just decide to start it four years later than the rest of the world you can't be mad people are talking about the ending you just have too much targeted but it's true you can't you can't be mad the whole world's talking about that's why you're watching it because the whole world was talking

00:09:50 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 4:

about yeah you got to understand that you know you need to have more time on your hands like us to be able to watch what's up steven

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 6:

Hey, man, what's going on? Who's the person that always ruins the ending?

00:10:03 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

It's always my girlfriend. Every time we're watching the show together, she'll finish the show before me, and then she'll tell me, oh, I'm about to tell you the end. I'm like, don't tell me the end. I don't want to know. And she's the type of person that she'll watch a movie, and she'll want to know the end before it even ends.

00:10:16 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 9:

Oh, I hate that. I can't do that.

00:10:19 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 6:

I'm like that. I actually, honestly, I have no problem watching the end of something and then going back and watching, because I look then for little clues.

00:10:26 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

Clues, yeah. The whole movie. Yeah, Stephen, that's my five-year-old son, Smith. Can't watch anything with him, literally. I finally just got around to watching Coco a couple of months ago, and two minutes into the movie, he goes, eh, the grandma dies at the end. I'm like, what the heck? Spoiler alert. Guys, that movie was released in 2017.

00:10:44 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. You think Ken Jennings got you some hate mail? No, go ask yourself.

00:10:48 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

You actually just reminded me, though, that my girlfriend does that with other shows. she looks ahead like she she decided to start watching Grey's Anatomy earlier this year well she started looking ahead into and watching the shows out of order because she heard oh like oh I heard about the death of George and Izzy so let me watch go ahead a whole season to watch that so I'm like wait now I'm realizing I have a way out of this argument that I didn't spoil it for

00:11:13 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 10:

her she would have just spoiled it for herself what's up Tony hi um my now ex-boyfriend ruined the last season of Stranger Things for me.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 6:

And that's why you dumped him.

00:11:25 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 10:

It made me dislike him because here's the thing. So he wasn't caught up yet when the new season came out. So I rewatched the last season for him and waited for him to watch it with him. And he spoiled it in a text while I was at work. He said, I can't believe Eddie dies. I said, what?

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 9:

Wow.

00:11:45 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 6:

Dick.

00:11:46 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 10:

I was like, what? Yeah, it was awful. It was terrible.

00:11:51 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 6:

Stephanie.

00:11:53 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 8:

Hi, me?

00:11:55 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, are you Stephanie?

00:11:56 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 8:

No, my name is Bethany.

00:11:58 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Bethany, I apologize. We misheard you. What's going on?

00:12:01 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 8:

That's my fault. So a guy at work actually ruined Avengers Endgame.

00:12:06 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That's a big one. Yeah, it is.

00:12:08 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 8:

Yes. I have my entire line. We're like nothing but nerds. So we literally were so anticipating this movie. And then this dude came up to me. He was like, oh, it's not like it's a big deal. It's not like it's just Tony Stark that dies at the end.

00:12:22 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez. Wait, you just said it. There you go. I remember that. When I was in high school, when Iron Man came out, I used to think it was funny to walk out of those movies when it was really, really busy and just give a fake, like a fake spoiler.

00:12:35 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 4:

Like I would have said that in the first Iron Man. And then you get punched in the face.

00:12:40 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 6:

Bethany, is that what you guys did to your co-worker? Did you guys all pummel him?

00:12:43 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 8:

We blackballed him. Like we literally, like everybody completely stopped talking to him. He did not exist, so it's after that.

00:12:50 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Jordan?

00:12:52 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 7:

Speak of how you guys just mentioned Grey's Anatomy, I had started watching it a little bit ago, and one of my best friends, she had spoiled one of the major characters dying for me when I had just started it. Yeah.

00:13:06 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. By the way, speaking of that, everybody's texting and saying Spike, Izzy doesn't die.

00:13:14 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, I didn't want to say real plot lines And ruin it for people I know

00:13:19 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 6:

But everybody's like Jordan here Who just started watching it

00:13:23 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 7:

They don't want to say the name Yeah

00:13:24 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah But it's funny though When you do like a mic Where you give the wrong The wrong thing And then everybody's like Are you watching the same one I am And what are you taking While you're watching Listen to this story here It's Mojo in the Morning Go to Jennifer Jennifer This is a real life Ruining it

00:13:41 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Good morning How are you guys Good morning

00:13:44 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 6:

We're good We're talking about the people who don't give spoiler alerts.

00:13:49 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, so I went in for my 20-week ultrasound, and I told the nurse, I told the doctor that we wanted to keep the gender a surprise until the delivery. So she does the ultrasound, and she was having trouble with something, so another nurse came in, and she's like, oh, he's not hiding this, Jones.

00:14:09 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. I would have been so mad.

00:14:12 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 3:

I didn't find out for both of mine. I would have been so mad.

00:14:15 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 9:

And they apologized, and, I mean, mistakes happened, but it definitely was my biggest surprise ruiner.

00:14:23 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's such a bummer.

00:14:25 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 6:

Did they give you your delivery for free? That's like ruining your meal at a restaurant. Thank you for the call, Jennifer.

00:14:33 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:
