It's Mojo in the morning, and I have to tell you that this weekend was one of those weekends where I'm exhausted on a Monday. I'm tired. I'm with you. I don't know what it is. I feel like the weekend was plentiful. It was almost like too much stuff. Yeah, there was too much going on. I didn't get any chance to rest and relax. Although I did binge watch the Tylenol murders. What is that about? It's about back in the day, there was a bunch of people that died taking Tylenol. And some believe that it was the company, Tylenol, Johnson & Johnson, with a kind of a mistake that happened. And some people say that they pinned it on somebody, that some crazy guy was putting cyanide in Tylenol. But I watched that. That was actually not bad. And then I finished Your Friends and Neighbors on Friday. Did you like it? Which I was mentioning this last week with The Handmaid's Tale. The Handmaid's Tale completely disappointed me.

I hate when a show does not wrap everything up in a nice bow. I hate when they leave things at a point where you almost wonder if they're going to come back with more. And they supposedly, this is the end finale. I like the fact that your friends and neighbors, I think it's only a one-in-one season thing. I think it's like a one-and-done. They just kind of like...

Well, Wes and I went to go watch it the other night, and then I was like, crap, I canceled Apple TV. I'm like, I'm not doing this back and forth, so we don't have Apple TV.

Because we didn't watch anything on there.

Really? But don't you keep your Apple TV because you got all your Apple products and stuff like that, or no?

No. Really? Just buy some AirPods. You'll get three most for free. That is true. It'll be all right.

Can I just throw this out there with streaming services? Yeah. Like, now it's my time. I'm canceling my Hulu because the Handmaid's Tale is over with.

So I just canceled my Hulu and then I realized, oh, crap, I can't watch any more Handmaids because I canceled Hulu and it was done on the 31st.

Can we just please go back to cable television where we just had one thing and we could watch everything on one? Like, I'm tired of streaming services. I feel like the streaming services are nickel and diming us. We used to get so mad at Comcast, Xfinity or whatever the service was, Spectrum, whatever you have. We'd get so mad at it. And we would call, oh, it's so expensive. You understand when you add all the other streaming services together. And they don't have the ability for Wi-Fi in your house. So they screw your life up. I feel like now is more expensive than ever then.

I just hate feeling like I finally get settled in on a price. And then I get an email that they're going up $2. Well, that's how they get you. Or now I have ads in Amazon Prime when I didn't have ads before. And now I can't watch a movie all the way through.

You can't do anything on Amazon Prime without paying for it. It sucks.

This is what they do to you. They do this to you because they got you. They get you hooked for a year. And that's why people always give me crap about how I tout radio and how we are free. You don't pay for listening to radio. It's like television, you pay for everything and anything that you want entertainment-wise. Where in radio, you don't pay for it. You go to the iHeartRadio app, you listen to whatever you want to listen to.

the worst part too bro is i have every streaming service and i still can't find anything to watch yeah that's the worst part i'll go through it i'm like i've seen this before all this stuff

If it would be cheaper just to buy the, like if you could eat by each individual show, like in the end, and I know you don't think that this would be the case, I can just buy my seasons of stuff. And in the end, when I look at everything that I watch, is it going to in the long run be cheaper than having a streaming service just for all that crap?

Yeah. You mean like if all you want to watch was Handmaid's Tale, you pay $10 for that?

No, I buy the $50 season or whatever it is. Now I just paid $50. I've got the whole season of Handmaid's Tale and I'm done with the whole thing and now I cancel and it's done at the end of the year. It's kind of like buying a movie where you just buy the streaming rights to the movies.

I guess you could kind of do that now. You would just have to watch it quickly before the next month's cycle. Or let's just watch commercials again.

thing that I've I've watched when I want to watch a movie that's not in theaters I'll google it and then hit streaming and then typically it'll populate at the bottom with the icons of whatever the streaming service is and it'll tell you what they're on and then I'm like okay yeah it's such a pain in the butt. I've been watching Columbo on Peacock, though. Can you believe this?

Do you know what Columbo is? No. Columbo is like a 1970s fat detective that's like an old school. It's like some of our grandmas.

My dad used to watch when I was a little kid. I never paid attention to it. I was bored one night and I was like, this is kind of interesting.

I cancel whatever credit card it is that I always put them on, cancel it once a year, and then all the services come to me and say, your card didn't go through. And then I decide which ones I had that I don't even look at anymore. And that's how I decide. That's brilliant. So once a year, I'll go through and I will basically drop the nuclear visa bomb on all that stuff and just get rid of them all and then start fresh from there and go, OK, well, here's what's going on. And then what it does, too, is it lets you know who your friends are that you gave the services to, because this would happen with Chad and Stephanie, sometimes Shannon, sometimes Megan back in the day. I had your Hulu for a while. Sometimes I would get these people, and they would go calling me up, and I'd be like, wow, why is Shannon calling me randomly at 5 o'clock at night on a Tuesday? Wow. Did you change your password? That's when you know who your real friends and neighbors are.
