All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. I want you to explain this topic to me because the title is great. Dominant or Submissive?

00:01:51 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're talking to me.

00:01:51 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I want you to explain where your vision is on this next topic.

00:01:58 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm trying to understand because I was having a conversation with a friend of mine that's a teacher. She's a high school teacher, and she teaches many grades, but her focus is the senior class. So she's dealing with children who are about to graduate. So these are the adults of the school. And every day for her job, she's in a dominant position. She is looked at as the leader. She is the person that's running the classroom. She's she's a dominant position. And this is eight hours a day, 10 hours a day. She's working overtime and all that kind of stuff. And a conversation came up. Well, if you're looked at as this dominant figure in your everyday life for the majority of your time, when you come home, are you able to be submissive or do you prefer to be submissive? And she's like, hell, yeah, I want my man to be the dominant figure when I come home. and I want to rip off that cloak of dominance and I want to be submissive when I go home. And I was like, is this kind of like, is this like an all-woman type of thing for women who are in these situations? And I know, you know, we know a couple of judges, like, that's a dominant position. Women who are police, that's a dominant position. When you come home, or do you prefer a man that is submissive to you? Because that could be a thing for some women. So...

00:03:10 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 2:

Are you talking about in the bedroom or just overall at home? Because I'm starting to be a room. I didn't know if he wanted specific.

00:03:18 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

So you're talking if a person is, you know, like Colleen, our boss. Shout out Colleen the Queen. Colleen Grant, who's the boss here. If she goes from, you know, here all day, she has to be the person that's the decision maker, the person that, you know, has to tell people, you know, if they're doing something right or possibly doing something wrong. She's the president. And then when she goes home, does she go home and become the boss at home or does she allow Matt, her husband to do the, you know, like I would, I think it would be hard in like

00:03:57 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 2:

in Colleen's case or for anybody, especially as a female to come home and like not have that. Like, I feel like that's just innate that's in you that you are really the boss.

00:04:08 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 3:

i would think that i would be exhausted with that because i go home when i go home because running the show and stuff and having to make decisions on where what direction we're going and doing all this stuff i go home i'm like chelsea please man i just want to you tell you know like

00:04:20 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 2:

i i don't like i don't pay our bills it'd be hard for people to like not listen to me like they do

00:04:26 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 3:

at work or you know but i don't like i don't pay our bills or anything like that or i don't do like like like chelsea makes decisions on things breaking in the house she takes care of that stuff because by the time i come home i'm like toast man that was it always like that or did you have to graduate to that point i i had bill collectors calling me because i'd get home i'd be so exhausted the last thing in the world i wanted to do is sit down and have to make more

00:04:50 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

decisions see it's sometimes where i'm on the air and i'm energetic because that's who i am naturally and that's the job where when i leave out of this place sometimes my energy is as aggressive So there's a.

00:05:00 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 1:

i am when i'm on air really and then i have to like all of a sudden like my brain will wait a second like you're doing too much right now haven't you ever wondered if he in the bedroom like sits there and you know it does you know he always said that he goes shout out oh my god yeah like does he do that in the bedroom you ever wonder that i wonder that oh my god like i want you you gotta relax no i don't be wondering about what i'm doing i don't tell people shout out do Do you do, this is the Mojo in the morning show. Okay. But I wonder, it's wild to see, you ever see your school teacher at the grocery store or at the mall on the weekends, and you wonder if your school teacher lives a normal life? That's kind of like the thing. Do people have different lives for different times? Megan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:05:52 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you guys?

00:05:54 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. How are you doing?

00:05:56 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing really well. This actually rung really strong for me because I'm also a teacher, and it's really hard to go home and be like, I don't want to make decisions. I don't want to have to, especially sexually, to not have to make those decisions when you have to make decisions all day long. It's really hard.

00:06:17 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a chalkboard in your kitchen? No, I do not. They don't have chalkboards. They have now have the smart boards. Yeah. Do you, do you have, do you tell your, your spouse and your kids, you know, all right guys, it's lunchtime. Sit down. Like you do that whole thing or do you go, I'm done with that. Cause I've been doing it all day.

00:06:37 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

No, absolutely not. I sit in my bedroom and my bed and don't talk to anybody.

00:06:42 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

So it's, so it's interesting.

00:06:44 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

I want that alone time.

00:06:45 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

You need a break from all that stuff. I couldn't imagine being a teacher with young kids and having your kids constantly grabbing at you all day like they do at work at school yeah the problem is your man fell in love with

00:06:56 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 5:

the strength of that woman right that leader woman that's what he likes about you right so he's like attracted to that part of you so when you come home and you're like i'd rather just be submissive i'd rather just you take control it's almost hard for him because he sees you in that role and he's so used to that being your role like just because it's natural right when you're a teacher or a leader it's natural to be a leader or a teacher in every aspect of your life so it's really hard to like turn that control off but when you want it to turn off like for in the bedroom you know you want to be able to be like i don't want to make these decisions and honestly like down to the simple things like dinner i don't want to have

00:07:34 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 2:

to make decisions about dinner because i had to make decisions all day long whether i'm submissive or dominant i don't ever want to make decisions i always wonder you know teachers have lesson

00:07:43 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 1:

plans i wonder if they plan out their weeks like at home too like they plan out their weeks in school uh what's up amy this is a tough one for you amy because what's going on with you and your

00:07:53 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

husband are both uh dominant workers yeah so it's kind of interesting uh the male versus female version of this because both of us have dominant positions at work but i prefer to be dominant at home and he wants nothing to do with that he'd rather just sit there and me tell him what to do i pay the bills and where the kids need to go just tell me what to do does it ever get exhausting no i don't know what i would do i would lose my mind when i sit my husband's like just sit down

00:08:23 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 1:

i'll take care of it i said no this is what i do hey if you ever go out amy with a bunch of women on a girl's night do you have to be the person making all the decisions or do the other women

00:08:33 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

do that well it's kind of funny because i'm on a bowling league with all women on tuesday nights i was just there last night and somehow i ended up being the one in charge of making sure everybody's names are in the computer and getting everybody organized and everybody's raffle tickets and it just happened that way.

00:08:51 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

If a woman on the bowling league steps up and starts doing that, you're like, hey, bitch, that's my job.

00:08:59 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Actually, it doesn't bother me to have someone else do it. It just becomes natural for me to do it.

00:09:05 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

I get it. That's what I mean. I wonder if it's for a lot of people it is natural that when you go home that same personality whether dominant or submissive just stays yeah you know amanda what's

00:09:17 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

up it's mojo in the morning hi amanda hi good morning good morning what's going on um so i'm

00:09:24 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 4:

an admin so i make decisions for people all day long and so when i get home i am on the couch i would love nothing more than someone to make other make all the decisions for me um i'm single and i think like the most attractive thing in a man is if they're like hey i made dinner plans amazing

00:09:41 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

no i agree with that yeah that's that's that's interesting that is a very attractive aspect to a man's personality is decisiveness just when you're even when you're talking to people all

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

day sometimes you're just like i want to go home i want to shut down someone else is going to do things for me and it's just it's the best being single is such a catch-22 because you

00:09:59 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

to always do what you want to do like you don't have to be like I hope they're okay with this but at the same time sometimes I just wish somebody else would set everything up yeah it

00:10:09 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 3:

makes you feel like you're being taken care of a little bit and it's kind of nice yeah yep Carissa

00:10:14 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

what's up hey so I'm calling in because I definitely have like a dominant position in work and I kind of transfer that over to home but I will say like mentally it's exhausting and I wish I had like the willpower to let some of it go to be more submissive and it has impacted

00:10:35 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

my relationship sadly. Interesting. So it, it, it is something that you maybe need to have a conversation with whoever you're in a relationship with about. Correct. Yes. And I've told my husband,

00:10:48 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I'm the man of the house and I don't want to be anymore. So, I mean, yeah.

00:10:53 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's caused problems for Chelsea and I in ours because of I, she always is the one that has to be that way and she gets pissed especially with some things with the kids with hey you gotta be they're gonna listen to you as a dad more so than they'll listen to me as the mom you know and you gotta step up and then you know what happens you know what happens Carissa that's when I pull out yeah

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 4:

and then she's like yeah let's go to the bedroom

00:11:19 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 3:

no she's like why are you carrying around an Indiana Jones whip around here

00:11:25 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

oh mojo I know, I know.

00:11:28 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 3:

Just trying to make a joke.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

00:11:31 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 3:

I try to see if I can make Megan laugh. If I can make Megan laugh, I know it's good, but I didn't.

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 7:

Try again later.

00:11:38 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:11:38 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 7:

It's like a magic eight ball.

00:11:40 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be submissive right now and push this button.

00:11:44 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 7:
