So they had an event. I don't know if they do this at all schools, but they had an event at Cecily School in the area where you could go to like the field house and they will they'll walk you through these different camps that they have for the school so there's like science camp and stem and all these different camps it's only like a couple days at a time but ceci's really into it and she wants to go to all these different camps and like i said it's only a couple days and i don't know if she's staying the night i don't believe any of them are overnight camps or whatever but like i remember when i was a kid like camp summer camps for me were the times where i rebelled and i did everything and anything that i wasn't supposed to do at these summer camps what summer camp did you go to uh well i was sent to i never wanted to go to any of these camps but i was sent to a camp called spring hill oh yeah yeah isn't that the religious one yeah yeah yeah where there's like i heard it's

I didn't expect any, 90% of the kids that went there wanted to go there. Like, they were excited to be there because it is a really, really cool camp for, like, kids who, like, are good kids. But I wanted to sneak out and meet girls and play pool late at night. I thought that was cool. And so that's what I did. I snuck out. I never got in trouble at this thing, but I snuck out. I made out with girls from Forest Hills, which was, like, cool then. Thank you.

Yeah, so it's not Cecily's age, but Cecily was only eight years old. But, like, I go to that mode of, like, I don't know if I want her to go to this. I don't know if, like, I don't feel comfortable sending her off. And Allie's like, why? Your kid is nothing like you. She is not going to do this. She is going to be just fine. She genuinely wants to go to these things to, you know, do the projects and all these other different things. She wants to play sports and all these other things. But in my mind, I'm like, well, you know, I told my mom I wanted to do these things, too. But really, I just wanted to kiss girls. That's all I wanted to do.

That's what you want to do. Do kids have any of our listeners have any, like, go away to summer camp stories? Because you will hear some stories when you go to camp that late middle school, high school, where, you know, there's a lot of flirting and stuff that that happens. And I've always wondered about that. All my neighbors always send their kids to camps.

Oh, for the whole summer.

Yeah. So I live in West Bloomfield, and there's a lot of our friends that are Jewish. And so a lot of the Jewish families will send their kids, and they go on to these camps together. And the parents just have the greatest summer of them all.

like that's a really big deal yeah and they had the best sleepaway camps i was always so jealous that i didn't get to go and they're gone for like eight weeks at a time yes it's long it's serious yeah i i went to interlock and arts camp up like near traverse city for three summers in a row and that's that was four weeks um and i feel like they i mean it's like it's basically like you're at school because you're there to either do dance or an instrument or i was there for theater um and like singing and stuff but they watch you like a hawk mike like there was no chance you were you were doing i think the worst thing that happened to me was i didn't pass my swimming test and i couldn't go in the lake but like there's no there's no speaking anywhere

You heard this band called The Fisher's Net. And it was this big Christian band at the time. And they were awesome. It brought the whole crowd into their emotions. Wow, it's amazing.

I did not know it was that vast of where it's that old to go to this camp. That's pretty wild.
