We've gotten to the point, though, and we have over the past couple of years, where everybody's trying too hard. Yeah. Don't you think? Yeah. I actually thought one of the best commercials was the Blue Moon commercial, and I was like, meh. You did? Yeah, because I didn't expect that, and so I was like, oh, okay, this is probably the only one I'll remember, and then the Donkey Donuts with Ben Affleck because we had talked about it.

That one, too, and the Tubi one where I thought it changed the channel on me. Yeah.

Every dad was mad. Everybody was looking at the dad in the room like, what are you doing? Don't touch the remote.

I'll be honest with you. You know, it's funny. None of them kept my attention. The only ones that really kept my attention, Jesus kept my attention. For some reason, every time the Jesus commercials came on, I was like, what is this?

No, it was Bradley Cooper's T-Mobile with his mom. Oh, that one was good, too. I did like that one.

I thought that the whole idea of celebrity cameos sometimes gets a little overboard sometimes. Like some of the celebrity cameos where you're like, okay, if it's not really, really funny, nobody gives a crap.

Or if they're not really famous.

Well, unless there's somebody that's not really that famous, but they're doing something really, really funny. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know. But I thought that for the amount of money these guys spent, that's what they did. $7 million for 30 seconds. Yeah. Well, the game, Spike, I was worried about you this morning. I saw in Philadelphia that there was a lot of craziness going out on the streets. They actually said that the craziness, though, started before the game. I was watching the news this morning, and they showed they were flipping cars over before the game even started.

I'm like, you guys haven't even started yet. There's too much traffic after the game. You've got to get it all the – before the game, get it in.

That was on the campus of Temple. They said that the students were just going nuts there. So where's Temple, by the way? Is that in downtown Philly? West Philly.

No, not downtown.

So how did you feel after that controversial call at the end of the game?

Well, they kind of took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter, so I don't blame it all on that call, but that was a crappy – that's not something you see in the Super Bowl. After this penalty.

I mean, I hear what you're saying, Mike. He's trying to run a little whip route. Sell the shallow cross. I know he's got that right hand. I get it. I just think in this moment.

I don't.

Oh, man. That is a game-altering penalty.

They were fourth down right then. They had a chance to have way more time on the clock. Yeah. It would have probably had Philly back in the end zone, and Philly probably could have, or at least tied it.

Well, the hand on his back had no effect on his route. He was not in play with that ball. And, I mean, he admitted later in an interview that he was holding, but still, that's not a call you see in the Super Bowl. They lay off, especially the end of the game.

I told you guys, though, the NFL, WWE, they call up to the commissioner.

Where do we want this to go?

No, they tell him before. I think that the commissioner tells them. I swear to you. I don't know about that. The game is in State Farm Arena with their State Farm face, Mahomes, playing the game, and Tom Brady retires. They need the new Tom Brady, the new poster child of the NFL. Mahomes is a perfect poster child of the NFL. No offense to Jalen Hurts. He's excellent. He does a great job. But he hasn't won a Super Bowl yet, and I think that Mahomes, you win a few Super Bowls, and this guy is like the megastar. I even said that on Friday, that that was the potential. And I will tell you this, that anybody that doesn't think that, and I'm not saying it's scripted, but anybody that doesn't think that referees kind of look out like, all right, if there's something even close, we've got to make sure, you know. Oh, totally.

And he did win. Didn't he win a Super Bowl before? He did.

Yeah, this is now his second Super Bowl.

No, I'm saying Jalen Hurts hasn't won a Super Bowl, yeah. And you're right. Philadelphia came out in the second half and honestly took their foot off the gas. Yeah, trying to probably just start something. I'm in Pittsburgh, so my friends over here were all worried, like, if we lose the internet here, we're going to riot. And I'm like, okay, guys.

The worst night to ever have a down, you know, anything happen to you, right? Wi-Fi or Internet or, you know, TV service.

Well, I started thinking of you guys potentially sharing your Internet path or your YouTube or wherever you were going to watch it.

I had a YouTube TV login thanks to a listener, John, and I couldn't figure it out. i kept getting streams so i ended up getting a amazon fire stick download allegedly uh to use really quick like an illegal an illegal one i don't think it's illegal okay as long as you don't

think so yeah yeah i don't know as long as somebody's paying the bill right yeah um was it

good yeah uh yes so it has all these different channels on it and i don't know that i honestly

So it's a fire stick, but then it's like a downloader thing that you put on it, and then you download some app, and the app has all these different TV channels from all over the country or whatever. So I got like Fox News, but it was like Cincinnati's Fox News.

So what happens, Mike, if your kids want to watch like, I don't know, what do they watch on TV? What's their favorite? Paw Patrol or Bluey. Yeah, what if they go to watch Bluey and your nudie stuff comes on there?

So it's on the fire stick, so they don't watch it on there. I'll take that off. I'll take that off. I only put it on the TV for the Super Bowl. Otherwise, I keep the PS4 on it. Okay. They'll watch on that.

against uh whatever team in the afc yeah i was rooting for the chiefs so they were like really i was like fine i root for whoever you know i'm not originally from here anyway so i thought i saw

vegas uh actually came out with their odds for next year they do it right after the game and And the Chiefs are favored to win the Super Bowl. But did you see the Lions are in the top, like, seven teams? So they got the Lions definitely making playoffs, Vegas does, and potentially doing well because that's actually a pretty good spot. Like, they're way ahead of a lot of other teams, like Minnesota Vikings.

Vikings and Green Bay Packers and all the other teams that are there.

I actually wish the Lions would go. I'm originally from Florida, but I wanted the Lions to go so bad. I'm rooting for you guys.

I told Chelsea that I saw the price of the tickets for this thing. And some people from Philadelphia and Kansas City, they said spent like $45,000 to go out there for the weekend. And I said, if the Lions got in, I mean, you'd have to say that you'd want to go out.

Normal people can't spend that.

No.

Plus, when you're there, you can't see and hear the game. You don't want to be there if you really want to see the game. You want to be watching TV.

They did a news story about some guys in Philadelphia that thought that the Eagles were going to have a good season. So they did a home equity loan on their house and pulled money out of their house because they had a bunch of it. and they use their home equity. Could you imagine?

No.

You pull $50,000 out of your house, and now you've got to pay that on your mortgage, and you lost. Yeah. Oh, that would be painful. All right. Aside from the Super Bowl, I don't know how you guys feel, but I feel like I've got a brick of nachos in my stomach right now.

Me too. I ate so much. I ate so many nachos. That's all I thought about all day yesterday. I was so excited.

It was crazy. We actually, so we made nachos. Chelsea made wings. And then we actually did have friends over. So we decided, oh, you know, some friends were like, what are you doing? What are you doing? And all of a sudden, like, everybody wanted. So people brought over, you know, veggie trays and charcuterie boards and all this stuff. And then randomly at the end of the first quarter, the doorbell rings. Our ring camera goes off. And my neighbor who came ordered a bunch of pizzas. And I'm like, where did this come from? But he ordered them so early, and they didn't come until after the first quarter because Hungry Howie's was so backed up. Oh, yeah.

I bought frozen pizzas just so I was prepared for the kids because they won't eat nachos.

If your guest orders pizza, does that make you feel like you didn't have enough food for your guests?

That's what I thought. But if it wasn't that he ordered them when they first got there, he wanted to make sure his kids had pizza because his kids don't like – they're not like nachos. They're not like appetizer-y type people. But I will have to tell you this. I wake up this morning, and I did a decent job with Chelsea of cleaning the kitchen up, but I still had the cookie sheet full of nachos. So this morning I got up and I saw it there. I'm like, oh, I got to get rid of some of these because I didn't put it in the refrigerator. And as I'm putting it and throwing it in the garbage, I'm picking off pieces and eating it. He's still eating.

Oh, yeah.

At 4 a.m. And I'm going, is this not a sign of a fat guy? You know what I mean? It's like when you're grabbing food that has been sitting out for that long of a period of time.

You don't have any idea how heavy you are?
