We'll have another chance for you coming up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show in just moments uh your home of the phone scams the war of the roses and the dirty on the 30 i sounded like a guy that had too much to drink last night but i do have this is a cold that goes that's there and um it does make you realize that uh when you do have a cold you do sound like you're drunk and it's funny because you can never hear yourself when you're drunk like when i'm drunk i don't ever you know people will be like oh you've been drinking too much i'm like what are you talking about you know what i mean but when i'm sick or just getting over something i feel like you kind of hear it a little bit more and i'm like is this what i sound like when you go when

00:03:04 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 1:

you get drunk you don't post on instagram stories and then check it the next morning and go what

00:03:07 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 6:

did i do megan i can't find my phone that's usually the only that's the only i know i know

00:03:16 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 2:

It hurts when I laugh I feel like my laugh I can't actually laugh Like deep belly laugh I would just cough and choke It's disgusting

00:03:28 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 6:

There was one moment where I think it might have been when Mike and Reese Were arguing over butt warmers That I started laughing And I got to a point where I was like And I started like Coughing so much I had to turn my microphone off And then I turned your microphone off because our microphones pretty much fuel everybody. And then there's Mike, who actually will just laugh out loud at you, especially if you're somebody that was at that kid's concert that you went to.

00:03:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, okay, a little bit. But I went to my daughter's Christmas concert last night, which is adorable. It's fun to watch. But, like, halfway through the concert, they're doing this, like, transition thing where I don't know how they get all these kids to stay in one spot this entire time, but they're like moving around and they're they're waving and they're dancing and doing all this other stuff and this little girl from like the middle of the bleachers that they're standing on on stage starts tumbling down no oh yeah the risers uh yeah yeah yeah and so she and so the whole place the music stops it was like a scene out of a movie the music stops you hear do do and everybody knows how to react like the kids like you would think in that situation kids would laugh did not one kid laugh they all just stood there and looked at her and she stood up and the look on her face was this is going to be what defines me for the next year because it is it is it absolutely is and my wife goes

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

Delete that video now. And I went, what do you mean? And she goes, delete that video. Do not send that anywhere. Delete it now because that poor little girl is going to remember this forever. And I felt so bad. She got up and she was fine. She was okay. Teacher made a joke about it. Everybody laughed and she was fine. But behind the scenes, she's going to be known for that forever, right? Oh, my gosh.

00:05:20 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, at least in her head, she's going to be known for that.

00:05:23 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And stuff like, I remember stuff like this happened all the time. I was in a play once as a kid, and it was Peter Pan, and my shirt. I was supposed to wear a shirt that looked like I had muscles, but I didn't know that. So I walked out on stage with no shirt on, thinking that that was the way I was supposed to do the scene or whatever. And everybody's like, where are your clothes? Why are you walking out here naked right now? And so for like a year, I was the naked Native American, because that's what I was on stage at that particular moment.

00:05:57 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

I will tell you that stands in schools, where you have to try to walk up and there's no railing or no any of that stuff.

00:06:08 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

The risers for those choir concerts and stuff.

00:06:11 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 1:

When I'm trying to spectate my kids' sporting events or their choir concerts and stuff, and I have to go and climb over the stands, I always feel like I'm going to bite it. Because I never know how to step or where to step. And then some of these stands, have you ever, they're not like solid. Like you kind of like have like a cushion or a dip or something on it. And I am like telling you that I feel for that kid that fell because that could potentially be me or will be me one day if I'm walking in one of those stands.

00:06:42 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

I think every kid fears that, especially when you're on stage too. Like you've got to, it's terrifying.

00:06:47 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 3:

And those things are so rickety because every school's had them for 200 years. You know what I mean?

00:06:53 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:06:53 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

They make that noise when all the kids get up on them. You can hear it.

00:06:56 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

That's all you heard when she fell was, Yeah.

00:07:00 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever been that person where you embarrassed yourself in front of your whole school? If that's you, you've got to call us up at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What was the embarrassing thing that had happened to you during a pep rally, or in this case, this was a Christmas concert? It's funny, it's Christmas concert time because I had Luke's Christmas concert The other night And you're sitting there the whole time And it's you know It gets cute You know for like maybe I don't know seven songs I think they did the other night at Loose Concert They might have done like 38 songs Like they literally did any rendition They could of any Christmas song And I sat there the whole time Because it's a Sunday night I sat there the whole time going I gotta wake up at 3.30 in the morning And then Chelsea's like well you can't leave because Luke, his group goes like last. I'm like, of course they go last.

00:07:56 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Of course, of course.

00:07:57 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm the one that's got to stay there and go last. This is titled, by the way, I saved this one because I remember a few years back, the worst Jingle Bells rendition ever at a kid's holiday concert. those are all those are all like horn instruments

00:08:32 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

you can't tell me that that's not a bunch of kids who have never picked up an instrument before

00:08:40 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 1:

They are. They're mine. They're there. And he keeps going.

00:08:47 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And you have to clap, too. Like, it's the greatest thing you've ever seen.

00:08:53 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

The poor music teacher is, like, going, oh, I got to work with these kids. Ready? Here it goes. I'm going to get to everybody.

00:09:10 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, now they got the drums.

00:09:25 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 1:

That is like the greatest.

00:09:27 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

So that's her kid? She's bad, bad, bad, bad. Do you have the conversation like, hey, maybe we play soccer?

00:09:35 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Maybe you're the guy that sets up and takes down everything. Right. Krista, hi. Does this bring back memories for you when you were early on in band?

00:09:46 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Well, I was really nervous.

00:09:49 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. Hold on. Yeah. Yeah.

00:10:00 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 8:

oh i'm sorry i apologize about that one is that not the greatest ever oh my gosh that's wild

00:10:14 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 5:

what happened to you so we went to a trip um to florida for you know our trip for uh the band and we go to disney world and do all the stuff well we've been on the bus for like 24 hours and you know being a girl in high school you're all like oh my gosh my hair blah blah blah so they're videoing everybody getting off the bus and so my last like me and my friend were like the last two to get off and so i'm trying to cover my face so i'm not videoed and i totally missed the stool and fell like right off the bus like on the video off the video back on the video popping back up like just a few of us saw it though but then at the end of the trip on our way home everyone driving to the bus and he shows the video the whole video so there i am falling off the bus so now everybody sees it but that wasn't even the worst part so he edits the video and when we're home and he's like shows the regular part through the video but then at the end he's like everyone had a great trip especially christa three times he like does this you know rewind thing and and then not only does he show it to our band he's got like the piano class His orchestra class Like all these classes So I have people coming up to me Like in school going Hey aren't you that girl that fell off the bus

00:11:32 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 8:

That's exactly what Mike was saying You now become known as that girl Chantel

00:11:37 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

Hi

00:11:38 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 8:

Hey what's up

00:11:39 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 6:

So my five year old For his first choir concert Before they even started singing He saw me and his dad And got so excited that he like stumbled and fell He didn't really hurt himself But he was so embarrassed and upset, he just sat there the entire concert, refused to sing with the saddest look on his face. And his teacher, bless her soul, just sat with him and kind of comforted him. Oh, sweet. Yeah, that was his first concert. We have pretty funny pictures from it. Oh, I bet.

00:12:09 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 8:

Poor kid. DeAsia, what's up?

00:12:13 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:12:14 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 8:

How you doing? What's going on?

00:12:17 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 4:

So I remember in high school, so we had a football game, and I was in marching band. So we had a football game that was against the opposing high school in our district, and it was an away game for our high school. So we're marching our show on their home field, and so there's the parents of the opposing high school and all the students. There's the students and parents of our high school, and we're marching our show, and we're going along just fine. And I remember during one of our movements, I blacked out for a minute and fell on field in front of everybody while performing.

00:12:51 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 8:

Oh, God.

00:12:52 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 2:

Did everybody stop, or did they just keep going?

00:12:55 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 4:

I was able to get right back up, so we just kind of kept going. And surprisingly enough, I don't think anybody noticed, but, like, it just hurt me so badly.

00:13:04 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 8:

I bet.

00:13:05 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

For, like, the rest of the performance, and I was just, I was making sure I didn't get marched over because, you know, I'm on the ground and everyone else is still going. And it's like, oh, let's not get trampled here.

00:13:15 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. You're a trooper, by the way. What's up, Molly? What happened to you?

00:13:19 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 3:

um so hi i love you guys we love you too so i um was a dancer in high school and stuff so at our dance recital once um we ended in a position where like we pointed up to the ceiling or whatever and um as we were like waiting for the curtain to close i was like too far ahead in the line so the curtain kind of like closed and i kind of got like caught up in it and i was trying to like maneuver my way out of it but i ended up on the front of the curtain so like everybody in the audience just kind of like laughed and I just had to wave and walk up to you. You did a solo. Yeah. All by myself. You know what's amazing

00:13:55 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 8:

though is when you do something like that it kind of teaches you to be able to laugh off things, right? You kind of have to unless there's guys like Mike that bring it up on the radio show and you're a kid that's on your way to school this morning. Didn't say her name and everybody felt for her.

00:14:11 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 2:
