Mojo in the Morning. I didn't get to this topic yesterday, and I really wish I would have because it was too good of a topic to not get to. But KP has a complaint about living with her grandparents. For those that are listeners of the show and don't know, KP is our executive producer, but also we've talked before about she actually is living with her grandparents until she can get an apartment, which, by the way, I think you're this close, right, aren't you?

She's found a friend possibly, right?

I have found a roommate, although we're in a discussion right now on which city we want to live in.

She's going back and forth. She's thinking, guys, you guys tell her what she thinks. She's thinking she wants to move downtown Detroit.

Oh, that's so fun.

My gut keeps telling me that. I've lived in suburban Michigan for so long, and I just feel like I needed a change. I don't know.

So connected her with the Bedrock people who have all kinds of apartments and stuff, so hopefully that will work out. But one of the reasons why she wants to move out is it's a little tough being free, isn't it, at home?

Yeah, it is. I actually haven't had any issues. I'm actually not seeing anyone right now, which is kind of good because I would feel super weird bringing a guy over to my house, even if we were just hanging out. But this I feel like a lot of people can relate to when you have your own space. And in apartments I've been in the past, the bathroom is normally attached to my room. so I can just go from the bathroom to my bedroom without thinking. And you know what I'm talking about here. I'm just walking around in my negligee. I don't know. You're 23 years old. Or like, I don't just make it. No, I actually need to buy new underwear because they're like five years old. I don't have a negligee. But so my grandparents have done this new thing, which I totally, totally get. I'm not upset about it. It's super helpful. But there is one caveat. They installed cameras in every single crevice of our condo.

Every crevice has a, what is this called? It's like, I don't even know. Like ring cams? I don't know if it's a ring, but it's a knockout.

Were they robbed? Why did they have to have it in every room?

Actually, they had a really, really bad robbery like 40 years ago. Someone broke into their home and broke everything. Wow.

But wait, they put them in after you moved in. Why are they doing them now?

Oh, they always have cameras in every room. Oh, they always, they had it there when you moved in. Yeah, they've had so many projects around the house It took them till now to get them up

I thought that it was new And they were just trying to see what the granddaughters doing

bathroom in your negligee i realized so i was like in the bathroom and i'm like oh shoot i forgot my my clothes um that i'm going to change into after my shower downstairs i can't run downstairs naked anymore like i usually just like do a little quick check and like are they out here and i'll just run

Here come the ambulances right but get this actually i did get caught well actually i don't know if i got caught so it was like i think it was like 11 o'clock at night and i had like i had to go to the bathroom so bad and i was only like my underwear and a t-shirt and i was going up my stairs and i completely forget to check and i look over and my grandma is on the couch but the lights are all dim and she's like so i went right to the bathroom but yeah so that's my issue is i can't run to the bathroom

I will tell you that it's probably not a smart thing to do even if your grandparents didn't have the cameras there only because grandma and grandpa even though you're their granddaughter and stuff I don't know if they want to necessarily see their 23 year old granddaughter naked in the hallway

who have family members that have cameras all over their place because I went over and visited one of Chelsea's aunts once and they also have cameras all over the place. And I'm telling you, to me, it made me feel like when I was at their house, like I was always being spied on. Like if I had to go to the bathroom, I'm like, this is my third trip to the bathroom. If they go back to the ring cam, they're going to notice on the ring cam, man, this guy's got a bladder problem or something. I have my living room on top of my fireplace,

But it's only because it's the only way that I can see like the whole like my whole porch and everything. And I've had some girlfriends that have said, like, you know, can we talk in this room or should we go to another room? Right. Like they don't want the evidence on tape of what they're talking about.

You're a parent with young kids in high school who want the cameras up because they want to make sure that their kids are being naughty. Oh, yeah. That's what my parents did when we were younger.

See, Shannon just brought up something interesting. I forget those things actually have audio attached to them. So now you're not only visually spying, you're audibly spying on conversations. Ooh, what did you pick up on your ring cams in your home?

That's why I can never go to Shannon's. She'd get too much dirt on me.

So my sister and I, she's way worse than I am, but we're both, we're not very modest. Like, we don't really care. But we were both living with our dad not too long ago. And we're older. We're both in our 30s. We both still look decent, but, you know, we're still older. And my sister, she doesn't care who's around. She will walk out naked anytime. She does not care. Usually she'll, like, try to have a towel or something, like, covering her ta-tas or whatever and have underwear on. But even if my dad's out there, she's just out. Like, oh, I forgot to grab this or I forgot to grab that. She has no shame at all.

But what does your family think? Like, what does your dad think when she's running around like that?

he honestly he my dad is so chill and laid back he's just kind of like he's so used to it at this point he's just like and he had four girls so he dealt with all the girly stuff the period you know having to go out and buy us pads and tampons and you know he dealt with all this but he doesn't care he just doesn't pay attention chelsea it has a lot to do with confidence too i used to

Hi So I just wanted to say We had something Scary happen at my house while I was home alone one time. So my dad decided to put cameras outside and then also put one inside. And it made us feel safer, but me and my mom absolutely hated it. And we just felt like we couldn't do anything. Like we always felt like someone was watching. So me and my mom made him take them down from inside the house because it was just creepy.

Yeah, there's something weird about it. Even though, you know, it's dad, it's still weird that somebody can sit there and spy on you. And I'm going, are they doing that mainly because of security, or are they doing that because they're kind of freaky? Or nosy. I think there's an element of, yeah, freaky or nosiness to doing that.
