All right, it is Mojo in the morning, uninterrupted right now. Shannon, you had one of those, what moments happened to you?

So, there was so much going on downtown this weekend. I mean, obviously, everybody is talking about the Taylor Swift show, but there were also some other events going on downtown. And so, on Friday, Wes had said to me, Obviously, we were downtown broadcasting and stuff, and he had said to me, I'm going to go out with some friends tonight, which I love because the majority of his friends are back in his homeland of Canada. So the fact that he was going out with some buddies here just made me really happy. And I was like, oh, my gosh, have the best time. I'll see you tomorrow. And then I'm like, wait, what are you guys doing? And his response to me was, we're going to the Big Booty Show. to which i responded the f you are no because i i immediately think like they're going to a strip club or something like that i'm like the big booty show what are you talking about and he goes i don't know that's what they told us that's what they told me that that we were doing he didn't even really have any sort of idea of like what they were doing they were meeting at somebody's house having some food and drinks and then going to the big booty show so i'm like no you are not I'm like, I'm so uncomfortable with this.

Is it the bazooki? No, that's not it.

It's like they're going to bazookis or whatever.

That's the greatest name of a strip club ever, isn't it? The bazooki.

So, hey, I ended up texting one of the girls that he was going with, who I'm friends with, and I said, where are you guys going tonight? And it was a show at the Fillmore called Two Friends, and they do something called the Big Booty Remix.

Oh, really?

Which actually is amazing. They have like tons of them And it's really super popular I had just never heard of it And apparently neither had Wes Because he didn't really understand what they were doing But the way that he kept saying it to me Is the Big Booty Show I thought he was joking

So we were listening I was listening to them all weekend

Where does the booty come into play? Is like the music makes you booty shake? Or shake your booty?

I don't really know, but, like, the, yeah, it's just two friends.

They grew up in L.A., they're, like, buddies, and they, like, DJ.

Yeah, that's funny. Oh, my God. By the way, I love that when guys do go out, like, and they party with their friends, If they do go to the strip club They always come up with a different thing to say that they're doing Like they would never say Even if it was a strip club thing They would never say Hey we're going to the big booty show They usually will say We're going to like church Has anybody ever had their spouse Like secretly catch their significant other Boyfriend or husband or whatever Go into a strip club And they told you that they were going somewhere else You'll have to like call us up and tell us Like, where exactly they told you that they were going to? Because no guy ever sits there and says, yeah, hon, I'm going to go, you know, to wherever.

I did My husband, brother-in-law And a good friend all went So, Shannon, they're just two fun DJs Yes Do a ton of remixes to songs We've been listening to them for I don't know, six or seven years But their playlists are fun

Yeah, we were listening all weekend then after he went Do your guys have fun? Do they have a good time there? What's the crowd? Is it male, female? Is it mixed?

it's a big mix um i went to one earlier in the year um or last year and it was a really good time um the guy said it's really fun to go to because everyone is just so friendly they're like it's the nicest concert that they go to because no one is rude or mean like everyone

that's cool like yeah that's awesome uh what's up carrie hi hi hey so when i was 19 i dated this guy and he used to tell me that him and his buddies were going to go to the Windsor Ballet and it wasn't for like another year that I found out through his friend who outed him on accident that it was actually a strip club. Yes.

By the way, I'm sorry. The strip club is called the Windsor Ballet? No, that's what everybody would refer to. That was just their excuse. Oh, okay. Yeah, that was like the AK. Oh, that's great. Yeah. I'm 18. My laugh got a little sinister there when you said that. You know what I mean? I'm like, I followed it.

The best part was is that his buddy came up to me and told me how cool I was for letting him go. And I'm like, well, you know, he gets culture, you know.

That's great.

Shannon, you brought something up about Wes that made me wonder about this. Oh, no, what? No, you said that he doesn't have a lot of friends here, but he has his friends in Canada. Yeah. Does that ever make it tough? Because I had a friend of mine that dated a girl that had no friends. All of her friends were in another city And it was tough Because they always Would find that When they wanted to go out It was really really difficult Because you didn't want them to be alone Without their friends

His best best friends for the most part are in Canada Actually the people that he went out with On Friday night are his best best friends here But when he was married Because you know He was married before he was divorced He and his ex-wife had like couple friends And then they kind of like dispersed And then divorced And so what's really cool now Is he's becoming friends with A lot of my friends' husbands Like genuinely becoming friends with them Not just because he's forced to hang out with them

Is it getting to a point where now it's comfortable enough Where you can call those guys and say Hey guys let's go out for a beer and stuff like that

Yeah which I love But for a while it was tough

If not we will put him on auction For listeners to hang out with him He's a very nice guy and he can come hang out with me anytime. Mike, I know that you've said in the past that you would like more guy friends in your life.

Yeah, well, I would say more dad friends too. He's a guy who's got kids and understands the time restraints. I don't have a lot of friends that have kids. Would you like to go to the booty show? Yeah, absolutely. I'll go today.

Actually, Mike, you would love it.

Yeah, it sounds like a lot of fun. I do have to explain it to my wife.

And I do feel bad for Mike in the case that, and it was fun that we got to hang out this weekend, but it's tough because you're two hours away. So that's kind of a tough one. Like, hey, Mike, what are you doing tonight? You want to meet in Lansing? Right, yeah, it doesn't work. Like trying to figure stuff out. But it is kind of tough. Like you almost have to pre-plan things a lot, right?

Sometimes, yeah, yeah, yeah. My wife's really like cool about it. Maybe she's because she's kicking me out of the house, but she's really cool about it. She wants you out and about.

I was texting back and forth with her. She was loving the pictures and stuff of-

You made me, I forgot. I should have sent that in my topics. You made me look so bad. You said, I love you and I miss you before I said it.

Oh, I said it to her. I wanted her to know that she was missing her.

I know, I know. You got to let me do it first, though, so then.

I can't tell your wife I love her before you tell her I love her. I feel like that's etiquette, right? I already said good morning to her, and I hope you had a great night's sleep. I bet you did.
