Well, I went out last night, so I got home pretty late. Got home around 11. Wait, hold on.

I know.

I'm not even going to say on a weekday, but I'm saying.

Whoa, wait, hold on. By the way, this is big news. Big news, stop all the music here for a second. She spent the entire weekend partying in Detroit with Taylor and then Pride, and now she's going out during the week. Who stole our Megan? Right.

I know, I know I went out last night But then I got home And just couldn't fall asleep Which I hate that feeling When you get home really late And then you're like Oh no, there's like Five hours of sleep Four and a half hours If I go to sleep right now Four hours if I go to sleep Right now It's the worst You can't

Yeah, it's like Your eyelids are right there Just looking at you I got an okay night Sleep last night The night before I got no night's sleep I was like that with staying up so late And then the weather too yesterday Was weird because we got those crazy storms And the whole day all I kept doing Was going to my basement to make sure It wasn't getting flooded Because the rain was coming down so hard so fast And it's not that my basement floods But it couldn't help We haven't had rain like that It was torrential stuff Did you have hail? We had a good bout of hail for a little bit It was pretty nuts And then, Mike, what did you do yesterday? What was your day like?

Yesterday I had to run a bunch of errands and still trying to figure out the at-home life. And we're getting situated, like, thinking about when Allie's going to go back to work. So we're trying to figure all that stuff out. And then every couple days I'll go to the gym for a couple hours. And then I'll go home and give Allie a break. And she goes and runs and does whatever. So we both get, like, our little time apart for a minute just to kind of mentally reset. And so I went to Planet Fitness yesterday. Oh, and while I was there, this is wild, this thing happened. So while I was there, like I said, we're searching for babysitters. So I don't know if you guys have ever used the care.com or whatever, but it's like a website. You can find babysitters locally or whatever. So we kind of put it out there. I don't know if we're going to use it, but I kind of put it out there. And these couple of girls were looking over at the machine while I was working out, and then they kept looking at their phone. And usually that means a couple of things. They're just waiting for me to get off the machine, but they don't want to be rude. or sometimes it's, you know, they listen to the show, and they'll come over, and they want to say hi, but they're trying to figure out if it's, you know, my stupid face or if it's just some other dude sitting on a machine. And so they finally walk over, and she's like, hey, are you Mike? And I'm like, yeah, yeah, and I'm thinking this is going to go down like we're going to start talking about the radio. And she's like, I applied for a position at Care.com to be your babysitter. Oh, no way. Yeah. What are the odds? Yeah, right, exactly. And it's all, like, from the area, so I guess there's a chance that could happen. But, yeah, you're right. What are the odds that that would happen? And she's like, do you mind if I tell you a little bit about myself so we can get a better idea? And maybe that will help, like, you know, she didn't say secure the job, but she's like, maybe I'll give you a better idea of who I am. And I'm in the middle of the workout, but I don't want to be rude. So I'm like, sure, I guess so. So I stepped to the side and she starts going into details about who she's babysat and all these different things. And I'm like, OK, OK, like, let's go.

And she you did an interview for your your child care at Planet Fitness.

Doesn't that. OK, so if maybe as I say it out loud, it doesn't sound as weird as it felt at the time. It felt weird. Like I did. It felt bold.

Oh, I think she's smart. She took the opportunity to give you her little elevator pitch of why she's right for the job, and she's hoping she'll stand out over everybody else on Care.com. I think she's genius.

I don't know. It felt like a bit much to me. It felt like that's what Care.com's for.

To do it that way and then have them call your house or call your phone.

I'm just saying, if you were applying for a job that you really, really wanted, like let's just say this show for purpose of discussion,

Okay, I would, but knowing Mojo now, I wouldn't. Like, I wouldn't do it because I send him ideas all the time, and he'll just not answer me. No, come on.

I'll be honest with you. I agree with Shannon. Take your opportunity. But I also have to tell you that this is a weird situation. Because if you go home from being at Planet Fitness.

and you say, hey, Allie, I was at Planet Fitness today, and guess what? I found our babysitter. These two girls walked up to me at Planet Fitness, and they were in their Lululemons, and they looked really nice there. They seemed like nice people. Like, Allie's going to think that you're picking girls up at Planet Fitness just to become your babysitter. Right, exactly.

No, but you could go on your care.com account and look through all the candidates and say, this is her. Here she is right here. She was there.

She was there. because I went back and I did go back and look like I have like 10 emails from people who applied for the job and and she is one of them but it's just weird that somehow she figured out that was me and like she must check that every day so she she must be actively looking for a job yeah sounds

about possibly babysitting what was the look on her face it's exactly what you would expect it to be a very uh concerned puerto rican very uh yeah she was not she was like no that ain't that by the

way uh care.com actually does work a friend of ours just recently got uh a situation daycare situation and then another friend of ours found somebody to uh come and uh i think there was i don't know if it's care.com or one of the other to come and clean their house or do something in their house doesn't care.com do that too can't you find that or no is it just child care well

Well, it's childcare, but part of their thing, too, is they can say, well, I will also do some cleaning, and I'll watch these amount of kids.

What's the other app that people use to find people to do things around the house? There's another one, too.

I don't know. That doesn't sound familiar, but whatever it was, they had really good results with it and found, like, this amazing ... They found this lady that comes to their house, like, every other week, and then every other week, she brings food to their house, which was like, while I'm like, yeah, like she cooks for them or something. And we're at that

stage where we have, you know, we're going to have the two kids at home. So we're kind of, I don't want to say we're getting desperate for babysitters, but like it's harder to find babysitters now. Like it's hard to ask her mom to watch two of the kids because she's also watching some other kids. And so I don't know. I feel like their care.com might be it, but

I don't know. So what are you looking for in a babysitter? I'm sure we got listeners out there who'd love to babysit your kids.

that's a good site to go to yeah i mean i found a couple families off of their um care.com actually is not the best um i've heard i've been on it before but um yeah i don't know if that's like the standard you know typical care.com kind of place but um i was just telling her like a lot of facebook mom groups um it's a good place to find sitters let me ask you a question if you were if

you went to that facebook mom group and you saw like a family in need and you saw them in public Would you come up to them and apply for the job on the spot?

Probably not. That wouldn't be my first intention. I guess I wouldn't, like, look into it too much.

See, I don't hold that against her as much as the fact that she did it, like, just to you at Planet Fitness. Like, if Allie were in public and all you guys were together and you guys were, like, grocery shopping at Meijer, I would go, oh, okay, I just wanted to say, how do you guys actually apply it for? Like, that would be fine. It's just the whole idea, again, of having to go home and explain to your wife, I think I found the perfect girl at Planet Fitness for us, you know?

She was doing squats.

Yeah, I wouldn't. I would, again, like you said, you found her, you know, somewhere else to show that she's. Sure. But, yeah. I mean, me personally, I wouldn't walk up to, like, someone I saw. But maybe, I don't know how old she was, but, you know, I'm 27 now. So maybe if I was, like, 17 or 18, still, like, looking for a job, kind of in need. But, yeah, and it's definitely, like, I don't know if you're just looking for, like, a regular, like, date night babysitter or, you know, just casual. But I'm pretty regular with all my family.

Are you applying for a job right now?

It feels like you're applying for the job. It's very much like a pinch to me. Maybe if you accept my hourly rate.

Oh, I like it. By the way, how much should Mike have to pay, though, now for three kids? What will three kids cost an hour?

Three kids, like I said, if it's just a date night, I would still do $25 an hour. If you're looking for, like, regular kind of person, I would go, you know, like 26 or 27.

Wow. Mike, this is one of those situations, too, where you sit there and you go, okay, at what point? You know, it's like three kids and how expensive it is.

Did you guys ever just take out a babysitter because you were so desperate? Like, our neighbor across the street has offered many times. I don't think he really wants to, but I think he's just being nice, but I might just take him up on it. Is this the guy, though, that you have had some feuds with? No, no, no, no. This is the Mike and Mary.

But not for your every day. If you're just going out for a date, yeah, but you don't want to hire a guy who you're like, yeah, I don't know, for your every day.

No. It would probably, like, I could only see it happening if I was in an emergency situation. Okay, yeah. I need somebody to watch, you know, the kids right now.

I will tell you this, as much as I joke with you about with the Allie thing, I did way back when come home one time and say to Chelsea, Yeah, we had this new intern that just started with us today. I think she would have made a great babysitter for us if we're looking for a babysitter. And that didn't go over well with Chelsea at first. But then eventually she became our babysitter. And that was Randy. Randy was the best. Oh, really? Yeah, she actually was amazing. And it's wild. Coincidentally enough, she actually reached out to me a week ago just to say, hey, we're going to get together. But yeah, so you never know who you're going to bump into. Maybe I should just be more open to it then. Yeah, well, you know what? But sometimes you find them. And the other thing, too, is you're talking about Allie's mom. Maybe Allie's mom can make even more money watching her own grandkids. And I know people feel weird about paying their family, but she's watching her own grandkids than watching anybody else. You know what I mean?

She's got a lot of grandkids now, though. Oh, really? Yeah, it's not just our kids.

Oh, so it's the whole slew of people.
