00:02:13 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 5:

America's Social Casino. For Mojo, Mike, Shannon, for Mojo is the morning! oh my god it's mojo in the morning show wait till you hear what ruined the mood for shannon and her boyfriend um which by the way i think it's safe to talk about this right now and i think that if we talk about it now you got to do us a favor you got to participate after you hear the thing that ruined the mood because i think this i think this is more common than we

00:03:11 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 4:

You just make me feel better. So I have this little, as Mojo calls him, a little yappy dog, which is funny because Mojo has the same exact two dogs, okay? Purse puppies. Yes. He's a little teeny tiny seven-pound poodle, okay? Well, my little teeny tiny seven-pound poodle, Charlie, who is going to be 13 years old this week, by the way, has the worst breath on the face of my head. I'm talking, like, not, like, all dog breaths is bad. This is, I, it's like, it makes my teeth hurt when I even think about it. It's so bad. And so, last week, I had taken him to the vet because he was having, like, a little tummy issue. And the vet said to me, you need to make an appointment for him to get his teeth cleaned. And it's a big production for these little dogs a lot of times because, like, he has to be put under. And that's why they have to clean his teeth. Traumatizing to them. So it's traumatizing to me, too, because I hate every time they put him under. I'm so scared that he's not going to wake up. So I'm like, all right, well, so I try to make this appointment to get the dog's teeth cleaned. They're booked out a month and a half. I'm like, great. So now my dog is going to continue to have this breath. It's to the point where even at Thanksgiving, I was so embarrassed to have him in the house because he walks into a room and you can smell this dog's breath. It's that bad. I'm not. The dog is so tiny. This is not an exaggeration.

00:04:32 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 5:

How can something so smelly come out of such a small little thing?

00:04:34 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Or you just ask anybody who was at my house for Thanksgiving. They all smelled it. Or ask Wes. Poor doggie. Last night, we're baking cookies. And I'm trying to describe this in a way that is appropriate for the radio. I was laying on my bed, like kind of halfway off my bed at this point in the cookies process. And Charlie has a little bed on the floor of my bed.

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

And so he was there. And all of a sudden, Wes and I are, like, you know, doing our thing. And the cookies are almost done. And all of a sudden, we both just start gagging because the dog must have yawned or something.

00:05:13 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

Wait. The dog was a little not entertained.

00:05:17 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the dog's mouth opened to the point where we both smelled the breath. And we were just, like, gagging so bad. Totally killed the mood.

00:05:27 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 1:

And there's nothing worse than when you are fully exposed and doing fun things to have a smell come out. And he's like, what is that?

00:05:36 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, it's Charlie's breath. Just ignore it. But we both couldn't ignore it. It was horrible. I was so embarrassed.

00:05:43 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 1:

I hear all the time people that will tell stories, and they're funny, and I know I listen, so I have them, where the dogs have ruined the mood for you. and you have to call us up and tell us your best story of how the dog ruined the mood because that would be a total mood killer right there if all of a sudden you start smelling this god-awful stink, huh?

00:06:05 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 2:

And it's bad.

00:06:05 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Have you tried? Chelsea gives Henry and Louie these little green things that every morning. Greenies?

00:06:10 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't like them. Really? He's never liked them.

00:06:13 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

They actually do make your breath smell a little better. They're almost like breath mints.

00:06:17 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He's never liked them. I don't know.

00:06:20 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 1:

They were kind of, I don't know what the... And someone needs a breath mint.

00:06:25 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

It's like, remember that guy that used to work at the radio station in the promotions department? Yes, I do. Imagine that times 10. And that's my dog's breath right now.

00:06:34 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

Poor guy. He had the worst halitosis ever.

00:06:37 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 3:

It was obviously a medical condition. Nobody else has it that bad.

00:06:41 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

It was so funny because he would walk in the room.

00:06:45 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

And we would all take a deep breath to just hold our breath.

00:06:48 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

You didn't hear him or see him. You smelled him. That's my dog. He would walk in. You kind of knew. That's kind of nice, though, that you don't ever lose Charlie. You know what I mean? Like, you kind of, you know. You know where he's at. Yeah, exactly. Oh, Charlie must be around. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Okay. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. How did the dog or cat or animal, whatever, ruin the mood? Ashley, real quick, Ashley, I got to ask you a question. Yeah. If you can, keep it as clean as possible. So, like baking cookies, stuff like that, you know, little euphemisms. Go ahead.

00:07:33 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so my boyfriend and I were baking cookies, and my dog came up and licked my boyfriend's cookies.

00:07:39 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, wait a second. Really? The front cookie or the back cookie?

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

No, it's the back cookie.

00:07:49 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Oh, man. Can I ask? Ashley, can I ask a question? Did he know it was the dog right away?

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he jumped up and creeped.

00:08:05 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

Is the dog on the bed with you guys, or where were you guys?

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Well, we were on the couch.

00:08:11 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a place easy for them to get to, right? I wonder if the dog must have thought that you guys were wrestling or just having some fun.

00:08:18 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. She jumped up, and all of a sudden I heard him scream, and that's all I know.

00:08:25 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 1:

That is fantastic. Oh, God, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. You're welcome. My favorite texter is, I can't go on the air with you guys right now. 734 sends this in. Can't go on the air with you guys right now, but every time that my husband and I try to bake cookies, our dog knows it and makes a horrible howling sound waking the entire house up.

00:08:51 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

It's nice. You know, it's cookie time in the neighborhood.

00:08:54 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Another one here. Everybody's talking about your dog, Charlie, and the gingivitis that Charlie has.

00:08:59 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's got something for sure. The last time, you know, because these little dogs, you have to do this frequently. So I think I do it. I can't remember if I do it every year or every other year. But he had to get a tooth or two pulled. I felt so bad. I felt like the worst dog owner. Did you get down to brush his teeth? He will not. These little dogs, they just clamp their mouths shut. You can't.

00:09:16 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 1:

There you go. 216 says, can't go on the air. I'm working. Otherwise, it would be hilarious. My hubby and I were doing a little something, something. And our dog got on the bed and peed on my husband.

00:09:31 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Marking territory.

00:09:32 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Sierra, what's happening?

00:09:36 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:09:37 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:09:40 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 4:

I had a story about a dog ruining my moment.

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:09:45 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

I was having fun with an ex of mine. And we're just having fun. And all of a sudden, the dog busted open the door.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Comes running in, jumps on the bed.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 7:

But next thing I know, his mom followed in.

00:10:03 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God. Oh, no. Wait, no. So you guys, how old were you guys?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 7:

We were probably in our 20s.

00:10:10 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. So you guys were trying to be sneaky away from your boyfriend's mom, and the dog ended up busting through the room.

00:10:20 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 7:

Well, imagine this, though. This is the first time I met his mom. Oh, no.

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. Oh, no.

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 7:

That was different.

00:10:30 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 6:

Nice to meet you. What do you do in that case?

00:10:32 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 5:

Do you put clothes on first or you just pull the blanket up? What do you do?

00:10:38 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 7:

I was kind of just frozen with him on top of me.

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Oh, man.

00:10:44 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 7:

I was at least covered, but, no, that was about it.

00:10:48 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 6:

That's such an embarrassing moment there. Thank you for the call. I love the texter that says, every time that my husband and I try to bake cookies, our dog tries to get in between us and just lay there looking at us. And then the problem is that with this is if you try to move your dogs out of the room when they're normally used to being with you guys in your room, then they get really like crazy anxious and they don't know exactly what's going on.

00:11:12 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 2:

Which, yes, I mean, that's like a whole other part of our problem is when it's just me at my house. Charlie sleeps in bed with me.

00:11:20 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So has Charlie ever been jealous of Wes, of your boyfriend?

00:11:25 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. Like, he's cool in his little bed on the floor, too, but he kind of stares at me like, why am I down here? And he's up there.

00:11:35 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 6:

Amy, you say that you think your dog's shaming you. Is that what's going on?

00:11:40 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yes.

00:11:41 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

00:11:43 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 7:

So, he will be in his bed in the bedroom, and we will be out on the couch baking cookies. and he will walk out of the bedroom and just come and stare at us while we're on the couch just with a look of disgust. How could you? I'm a dirty mom and dad.

00:12:06 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 6:

I wonder if there are any people that are fearful of getting naked in front of their animals because they're knowing that their animals are looking at them in such a weird way. That would be funny. All right, great calls. Thank you guys so much. We appreciate it. It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:12:20 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

A note to Mojo's little yippy dogs. Don't piss him off. He could eat you. I can't in my belly. This is Mojo in the Morning.
