I mean, it's the start of a whole long process, so yeah.

What was wrong? Did they put that tooth in, or what? I know you said you had a hole that was going in there.

Yeah, so there was a roof now that I got in college that went bad, and I didn't have insurance. And so basically, I've been fighting to keep it going, and then they had to just remove the tooth completely. So they're putting in an implant, and then I went in to go get it basically started. So you've got to put it in the implant, and then you put stuff around it. So you've got to wait for months and months and months for it to heal. Oh, okay. So it was a whole thing, but they have to, I'm like nervous about the dentist anyways. And my wife knows that, um, even with her being there, I still just didn't, you know, because of the, uh, uh, what, how long this has taken, like, it just, I'm not a fan right now of going to the dentist. Um, cause I'm always afraid they're going to be like, Oh, there's something else in there or something else in there. And there's not, but there, so she's like, when you come, I want you to, uh, you're going to do the, the gas. And I used to call it the magic carpet ride, which is, uh, which is the, I forgot about I forget what it's like. Is it NO2 or whatever it is? I don't know what it is.

Isn't it like nitrous?

I think. Yeah, I think so. And so it completely, I don't know if she turned it up or what, but it calmed me down like a lot, a lot. And it turns out when my brain calms like that, this is how I know I have ADD and I'm like super anxious. Like I probably should take something for it because once I was in that calm state, you could not stop me from saying anything. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. There's no filter. There's no, like, you know, those like situations where somebody does something and you're like, I should say something, but I don't really, you know, I don't really want to cause a problem or I don't want to, you know, I don't be an inconvenience or, you know, it just doesn't.

And so that was the first thing. And then when they set me up to get ready for the procedure, they really called me down. They knew I was nervous, so they gave me noise-canceling headphones and a weighted blanket. It was a whole thing. And she walks in, and I'm scrolling on TikTok, waiting for this stuff to kick in. And it had kicked in, I think. And I hit what I guess is called words of affirmation TikTok, which I don't know if you know what that is. like on tiktok i know you i know what you know what words of affirmation are but on tiktok it's like uh a female usually doing a almost like a mom voice and she's saying you know what you're doing great good job i can't even do the voice correctly but amazing don't stop you're so good at it you've been such a good boy i'm so proud of you oh my god my face is it is completely blank at this point and my mouth is wide open and I'm just listening and she's like what are you watching and I start telling her that like I don't know what this TikTok is but it's so calming and I don't know I feel some kind of way I don't know if I should feel like this but it's so weird but I kind of like it but that's weird right

Or you'd feel a lot, you know what I mean, if you didn't get it that much. You didn't get much.

What would happen if you got too much of that stuff?

Oh, yeah, yeah. Like, if she was mad, I'd feel, like, all the pain and stuff. Yeah, right? Like, I'm going to make him. I'm going to make Joe get a little show. I know. I don't know.

I have no idea why he calls me that.

That's wild. that that uh that stuff makes you uh feel that way it makes you and then probably overshare did you share any stuff that you shouldn't have shared with the the doctor like stuff about your

family or marriage or anything like that i i don't know i started talking about everything like he would ask you know how dennis asks you like a question and it's like a sometimes it's a yes or no but sometimes it's like a really in-depth question yeah and i'm like why are you asking me this your hand is in my mouth yes i made him stop so i could tell him i'm like hold on hold And I would put my hand up so that I could tell him. And I don't remember exactly what was asked, but I would have answered anything.

I've often wondered when dentists do that, what is the reasoning? Are they trying to stall the actual procedure or, you know, you can't talk at all. You got all that stuff in your mouth. Oh, my gosh. So, Allie said everything came out okay. Everything's good. You're doing good. Yeah. Yeah, I guess.

But even like Mike's situation, if they're there when you're first coming off the gas and you're saying all kinds of stupid stuff, it's going to be a test for the

relationship. Oh, that's not even the worst. What's worse for you is they won't let you leave until you start farting in front of a nurse.

The worst also is as they're getting ready to do the procedure, you have nothing on underneath your gown on the bottoms. Right. And the person might come up there and go, oh, my God, I do listen to your show. Yeah, they all know who I am. That's the last time that you want them to actually know that. Right. Awesome.
