mojo in the morning show can i complain can i start with a complaint i hate to start the whole show with a complaint but my complaint is about complainers complain about complainers i just you know i get in this morning i open my laptop i log on to facebook to send my mom a little message and first thing i see i have one family member i'm about to block because she just constantly posts the most inane who cares stuff on her facebook and i know we all have these people in our lives but last night she did a long facebook post complaining that someone sat in her reserved movie theater seat and she wrote a whole angry post and about like i bought this ticket in advance and when we got there there was somebody in our seat and i had to sit somewhere else even though and i'm like what do you want us to do about it like did you talk to the person at the movie theater did you talk to that person in your seat or maybe go to the manager or something no she just bitched about it on facebook and i'm like just needed an outlet to vent but like this is all she does if you go scroll down i'm like thousands of people in metro detroit remain without power from all these storms but let's worry about your movie theater assigned seat last weekend she posted a pic of a head like a half-eaten caesar salad with the caption said something the something along the lines of avoid this restaurant the salads are half the size they used to be i'm like why do people love to complain on facebook so much instead of complaining to the person that could do something about it right to improve your situation you just want to make all

00:03:24 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 7:

of us miserable in our scrolling you know what i think it is is i think they want people to join in and say, oh, I agree. I went to that place, too, and I was outraged that my salad, you know, was smaller than it used to be. They want, like, misery loves company sort of attitude.

00:03:42 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you. There's other people on Facebook that annoy me that are maybe even worse than those people. I'm starting to get annoyed by prayer warriors. Hello, prayer warriors. Need some prayers today.

00:03:55 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 7:

I love a good prayer warrior. Oh, come on. No, not with a vagueness.

00:03:59 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 1:

They never tell you why they need prayers.

00:04:01 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 7:

If there's vagueness, no. But if somebody is really asking for prayers, I'll pray for you.

00:04:05 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 2:

Hello, prayer warriors. Just need your help today for something I can't get into. Oh, see, that drives me nutty. I don't know what I'm praying for. I need to know what I'm praying for if I'm going to pray for something that I'm praying for, right?

00:04:16 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 7:

I get you there. Amen. We're not so desperate for attention.

00:04:21 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The prayer warrior people are not really wanting prayer. They want exactly what this person, Spike, wanted that had somebody sit in their seat. They just want, again, somebody to just, yeah, somebody just to say, I'm here, whatever. And if that's the case, honestly, why not pick up the phone and just call these people? You know what I mean? If you put what I have to pray over and I don't want to pray over it, can I comment and go no? Or how about, Mike, you say, I have enough prayers going on right now. I'm all out of prayer today. How about tomorrow?

00:04:55 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 7:

Speaking of that, Mike, I think it's so funny when people ask for recommendations, which is fine. But when people comment and say, no, I don't know, like if I said, does anybody have a recommendation for a good company to, you know, mow my grass in the summer? And someone comments, no, I don't. I love it. I love that. Why did you comment that?

00:05:17 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, I love those people. I love them for that.

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 7:

Because you know what? Okay.

00:05:24 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 2:

that's honestly i think that is the the the greatest because you know what when they just say no it's like almost basically saying go after yourself my neighborhood facebook page is full of

00:05:36 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 5:

those people and it's so funny the one that kills me is when i ask for recommendations and people are like you could just google that like oh thank you karen for teaching me how the internet works i know that i'm looking for like first-hand accounts of companies people enjoy well aren't

00:05:51 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

their sites called yelp for things like that like you know there are but usually i'm looking for my

00:05:56 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

neighbors to recommend somebody because i know like they yeah they wouldn't steer me wrong plus let's be honest how many companies are like we'll give you a deal if you write us a good yelp review

00:06:05 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

yeah right i don't trust i don't trust that same gotta be honest with you i don't trust my facebook followers or friends or whoever those people are uh what's going on donnie hey good morning

00:06:17 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 6:

Good morning Hi Donnie I just texted in You don't have to block your cousin You could just silence their post Because then they can't complain about somebody blocking them

00:06:29 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 4:

Right

00:06:31 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 6:

I do that to a couple people

00:06:33 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Who's the most annoying Facebooker?

00:06:38 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh gosh For me specifically It's one of my husband's friends

00:06:42 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

And why is that? What do they do?

00:06:44 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 6:

She's just a complainer And she, you know, small town people, they don't have anything to do but complain about stupid stuff.

00:06:51 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Is there a specific type of a complaint, though? Is there something that's more broader, like the, you know, person that, you know, that complains about the person in their seat or, you know, the prayer warriors?

00:07:05 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 6:

I think the worst complainer is the Misery Loves Company because it's like, who wants negativity? But it is Facebook, so I don't know.

00:07:12 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 2:

I know. Thank God for Instagram for not having that. Although Instagram is starting to get that way, though. I'm starting to see that with comments. I think that Instagram, we should turn off comments on Instagram, too.

00:07:23 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Right? Save it while we still can.

00:07:25 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thank you for the call.

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 6:

Have a good morning.

00:07:28 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Take care, Donnie. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Text 95500. What's up, Kevin? How you doing?

00:07:41 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Happy Tuesday.

00:07:43 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

How are you? Happy. I didn't realize Tuesdays needed to be happy But go ahead

00:07:47 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's happy because you have tacos, right? Yes, Tacos Tuesday

00:07:51 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Alright, what's going on?

00:07:52 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

The most annoying people are those people That try to prove their theory On flat earth and conspiracy theorists And all this politics stuff It's like everyone's entitled to their opinion But not everyone needs to broadcast it In a way that everyone does on Facebook It is more annoying than anything

00:08:10 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, if that's their whole life, right? If they're posting that every day and they're posting a million articles, and you're just like, how are your kids? Have you checked on them lately? Are they doing well?

00:08:20 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's the crazy part. That's the crazy part. It's like, man, you are so wrapped up in this. I mean, like, you know, I agree. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but, man, come on. You don't need to post every five minutes about it.

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thank you for your call. Those are your people.

00:08:38 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm like, yes, send me another link to a 45-minute YouTube video. I'll watch this flat, please.

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 4:

You got to do a deep dive.

00:08:45 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 5:

I got time to kill.

00:08:46 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

I realize that Facebook's only purpose in my life is to remind me that people have birthdays. Like, that's the only thing. And thank God for it. I feel horrible as I'm going to bed at 9.30 when I notice that every one of my friends have wished somebody a happy birthday that I saw five times during that day. And I didn't realize it was their birthday. Gigi, what's going on?

00:09:09 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

Hi there. Good morning. Good morning. I just wanted to call and comment about the people who post for going off of her recommendation thing about the people who ask for who's hiring. I think that you should just go to Indeed or look online.

00:09:25 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, are there people that go on Facebook and say who's hiring?

00:09:28 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 7:

Indeed doesn't work. Oh, yes. I don't mind that. I don't mind that either because I feel like someone might know if their company is, you know, getting ready to post something or.

00:09:37 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. Yeah. Like that. Yeah. I don't know. You know, it's funny. I was out yesterday for lunch with Rachel from Kroger, and we were having a conversation, and she told me the last four hires that she had were basically off of recommendations from personal friends. It's like she said that, yeah.

00:09:55 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay, now that's fair. We have good jobs nowadays. Everybody's putting in digital resumes. There's 10,000 going on.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 1:

and a computer-choosing resume is the only way is for you to get recommended by somebody who already works there nowadays.

00:10:06 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 9:

What's up, Ace?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

What's up? What's up? Good morning, y'all.

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 9:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:10:12 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

My sister is the absolute worst at Facebook. She, like, posts all her dirty laundry. Like, whenever her and her boyfriend get into it, she's running a Facebook post, and I tell her all the time, somebody should report you, bro. Like, you should not stop the Facebook.

00:10:28 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 6:

And then they get back together the next day, right? And you guys all had to sit there and read all that.

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 7:

So wait, what's your sister's name?

00:10:37 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Megan will read them.

00:10:39 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 9:

Giovanni, what's up?

00:10:41 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning.

00:10:42 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 9:

Good morning. We're cracking on Facebook this morning.

00:10:46 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I got a buddy that he's a single person, a single complainer. Those are the words.

00:10:53 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 9:

What does he do? What do you mean, single complainer?

00:10:55 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Like single complainer. He'll go on Facebook and complain that he's single, like Valentine's Day and all that. He'll post, like, single, ready to mingle. He's a big barbecuer, so he's like, you wish that your man can cook like me. It's hilarious. Does it ever get him girls at all? No, no, not at all. That's the funniest part.

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 9:

Oh, well.

00:11:17 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 4:

He knows how to cook. That's the good thing. But those single complainers, man, on Facebook, it's annoying. I had to block them, too.

00:11:25 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 9:

That's funny. I like the guys and girls that will post their barbecuing, period, or their cooking and stuff like that. And I talked to a buddy who's Shane in Chicago. He works for Odyssey in their sports station. And his thing is Shane's Meats. And I said, what is the deal about it? And he goes, I like to document it. That's his thing. And honestly, my problem with it is I always end up checking it out, and it just makes me hungry after I just ate. You know what I mean? So I'm, like, even hungrier. Like, it's the worst diet plan ever to go on social media and see all the great food that he's cooking. Hey, Mom, now that I have an after-school job,

00:12:06 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 8:

I think I want to buy a drum kit.

00:12:08 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 3:
