00:01:58 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 2:

There's a thief in Megan's house.

00:02:08 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 7:

And I think we know who that thief is. It's Coraline, her dog. No. No?

00:02:16 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 3:

I wish she'd probably be easier to deal with, right? You can just kick her to the backyard. It can't seem to do that with the real thief. Which just happens to be my best friend. I feel like you need to preface this and be like, I love my brother, but I am on the verge of committing murder.

00:02:34 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 7:

By the way, the picture on our Facebook, Instagram, and stuff of you guys, and you guys were out the night before last, is great of the two of you guys hanging out with each other. I feel like you guys need a reality show.

00:02:48 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 3:

No, no, because I think people would be honestly surprised to know how nasty we can be to each other, which I think we find funny, But other people would be like, wow, that's that's intense. What's the age difference with you guys? Six years. He's six years older than me, even though everybody thinks he's the baby. Yeah, he does have a baby face, though.

00:03:10 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 7:

Do you hate that, by the way? I mean, women already hate the fact that people think that they, you know, are aged differently than men. Or, you know, it's always like the guys lose weight faster than women, you know, stuff like that. But to have your own brother, your older brother looked like your younger brother.

00:03:27 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

really has got to piss you off i think the most disrespectful part is like a lot of people just assume we're close in age because we're close together and then when i'm like oh no there's six years between us and then people look at both of us and i go it's not obvious six years is a lot of years you guys it's more the question because they know it's rude to ask but at that point we've all realized you want to ask and the answer is i'm the youngest one thank

00:03:53 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

you very much i'm useful let's get to the to the theft part of this one because i think that there's a lot of listeners that check out our show every single day that when we talk about certain things you guys can relate to things more than others right this is one of those ones where I know that there's a lot of people who live in a home or an apartment with some any roommate or whoever it might be you can relate to and that is the food theft and it's not a one-time situation

00:04:21 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 3:

When I tell you my brother steals all of my food, I mean he steals all of my food. I love the day after Valentine's Day because that's the day I get to go out and buy myself all the fancy chocolates I would not pay full price for. Get them half off. Well, I bought this, like, huge box of chocolates for myself. And he ate 48 out of the 50 pieces of chocolate. And it's driving me nuts. And then just constantly. Here's something. Oh, he would be so mad to know that I said this on the air. But I'm mad at him. So I'll say it. We have to have separate jars of peanut butter in the house because we have nearly come to fistfights over the peanut butter. jar and who ate all of the freaking peanut butter because he'll eat it all so i have to physically hide a jar of peanut butter in my house just so he won't eat it all i call him my little like what's a creature that eats everything at night raccoons he's the little raccoon that lives with me because every morning i wake up and something is just inevitably gone whether it's my leftover wings whether i just can't have anything in the house it got to the point where the the man started putting food in my own bedroom while I wasn't there and shutting the door just so he didn't have to see it. He'd probably be tempted to eat it. And I'm like, my room is not a pantry. I have a pantry. Leave it in the pantry.

00:05:46 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

Do you have to hide food from him? Because this is something that's always funny is when people will say that they have to hide food from family members, like brothers or sisters or parents with their children, you have to hide the food so that they don't eat it because then when you want to go eat it, it's never there. Like the chocolate. Like you should have hid the chocolate from him.

00:06:06 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, but why is that my responsibility? It should be your responsibility as an adult to have some self-control, okay? Because you don't just walk into a store and go, you know what, you should lock everything up. I'm here.

00:06:19 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, you know what? Now you have to be.

00:06:21 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 3:

You know, you learned your lesson.

00:06:22 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 5:

You have to treat your food at home like the razors at Walgreens. Lock them up. It's behind the plastic, right?

00:06:29 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Like a padlock in my own kitchen. You only get in in these hours. Other than that, you've got to pace yourself.

00:06:36 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. So how many chocolates did he eat?

00:06:41 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 3:

48 out of the 50 pieces of chocolate.

00:06:44 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

He left you two.

00:06:46 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 3:

48. And he didn't leave me two. I just took two and put the box away. And then he ate the other 48.

00:06:53 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys remember when you were growing up and you got boxes of chocolates for whatever ever occasion or your parents did yeah would you bite the bottoms to see what what the filling was inside and then put it back if it wasn't the strawberry stuff because that was the only one

00:07:07 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 5:

it was fanny may chocolates for us okay and what we would do is we would in my kids do too sometimes because my sisters will buy it still because fanny may is like a chicago thing they'll put their finger on through the thing like they'll poke their finger through it to see if they got the chocolate the milk chocolate with the vanilla inside of it i liked the strawberry and i would

00:07:26 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

just bite a little corner of the bottom and if it wasn't the strawberry if it didn't have like so it looked like you had rats in your house you know now they're fancy and they've got the guide and it tells you which one yeah uh blake what's going on how you doing

00:07:38 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 5:

hey blake hi how you doing good blake uh quick question for you we're gonna we're gonna say this because uh megan's brother's name is sean who's the sean in your house

00:07:50 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 6:

oh that would be my old roommate no my wife yeah my wife actually kept a pantry in her bedroom closet just to keep people from stealing her food really so your wife yeah like a like shelves and

00:08:07 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

everything pantry full pantry and wait when she said from keeping people from eating the food is she keeping you from eating the food or is she keeping like you have roommates we used to have

00:08:19 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 6:

roommates and they would eat everything oh yeah they whatever they was like our food was their

00:08:25 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

food that's amazing that's a genius thing for apartment complexes and built and you know builders of homes put a refrigerator and put a pantry in the bedroom with a padlock on it

00:08:38 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

i am not in college no what's up michelle hi how you doing good how are you good who did you have

00:08:47 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

to hide food from my husband what specifically do you have to hide what's he love everything

00:08:55 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

cookies gummy candy one of our first dates i left gummy candy at his house and the next day that i came over i was like hey where's the candy he was like i ate it all i was like what

00:09:07 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Bastard Where's your hiding spot?

00:09:13 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 2:

I have a spot in the pantry Behind everything And there's still Halloween candy back there

00:09:19 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 4:

So you know what? I think my wife does this too But she puts it on a shelf that's too high for me to reach Because she knows I won't get a stool

00:09:28 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 5:

Michelle, that's what you need You need to have a husband that's a little smaller than you

00:09:34 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's great I don't kill him

00:09:36 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's like it's like children. You got to have, you know, you put everything, you know, strategically higher.

00:09:43 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Rob? How are you doing? I'm doing good, guys. I love listening to the show. Good. Nice to talk to you. We love you, too. Thank you, buddy. We appreciate it. Mike can probably maybe attest to this because he's got the younger kids, but the kids are the Steve.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

like me and my fiance got a room downstairs and they have the upstairs room so like sometimes we go to bed before them because we got to work and of course their kids sometimes they try and stay up and you come up the next morning and there's certain food gone so they're

00:10:15 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 2:

the skis yeah you know that that uh cupboard that's right above the fridge that nobody knows what it's for yes it's like a half cupboard yeah that's where everything that the kids can't get to

00:10:24 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

go yeah dude we got it man it's crazy sometimes they're like the night raccoons for sure

00:10:29 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Do you know it's so funny My little Smith who's about to turn six Took the blame for I had a bunch of Easter candy That I was going to put in Easter baskets For my fiancee Wes's kids And all of a sudden it went missing And I said Smith Lyle Did you eat all of this candy And he just looked at me No and he said I'm sorry mom So I thought he did Do you know that it was actually Wes That ate the candy for his own children And my poor sweet boy took the blame for it.

00:11:03 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Stitches get stitches. Good work. Rob, thanks, buddy. You're welcome. Appreciate the call. What's up, Jill?

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on?

00:11:13 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have a funny story about food going missing in the refrigerator, my fancy leftovers. And so often my food was picked through. I would go to eat it the next day. So I got tired of it, and I wrote a note. I said, I have strategically placed a booger in this food. So I got up the next day to a note back to me that said, now there are two.

00:11:42 - 00:11:42 | Unknown:

No.

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

That is so funny.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 3:

Joelle, what's up?

00:11:48 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 4:

So my boyfriend will literally eat anything. If I buy anything for myself, like candy, whatever. So I got an empty tampon box And I would put that in the bedroom So he wouldn't go into it

00:12:00 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's the best Megan, that's what you gotta do You gotta figure that out Hold on a second, real quick On the phone with us The world famous Scott Mick, Megan's dad Is on the phone with us

00:12:14 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, how you guys doing today?

00:12:18 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 3:

We're doing good Question for you, is this something common That your son steals food from Also you too?

00:12:25 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. I've gotten to the point now when I bring leftovers home from a restaurant, I actually put them in the crisper. He doesn't go looking for fruits and vegetables. He only looks for leftovers. Yeah.

00:12:38 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:12:38 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 5:

It's the only place to hide anything from him. But he's not a raccoon. He's like a vacuum. Whatever is available. It's just amazing the amount of food he eats. It's unbelievable how much he eats. It's not a genetic trait.

00:12:53 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So did you ever have to, like, hide stuff in your bedroom, kind of like how, you know, Megan was talking about it and people were talking about hiding in their bedroom?

00:13:02 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 5:

I should have. And I always felt bad for Megan because I traveled quite a bit. When I first got divorced, I was traveling a lot. And on Sundays, I would try to make a big meal so there was food for the kids to eat while I was gone. Yeah. And one Sunday in particular, I cooked two roasts. These are five-pound roasts. I cooked that on the grill. So that night, we probably ate maybe half of one of those roasts, maybe half, probably not. So we had a whole meal with it. The next morning I got up, the other two were gone. All of the meat was gone. I can't imagine eating eight pounds of meat in one night. I can't fathom that. She ate eight pounds of meat. Oh, my God, that makes me want to throw up. I know about it. Eight pounds. I know, right? It's like a protein coma.

00:13:54 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God, yes.

00:13:57 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and he ate the whole damn thing. And he still, you know, he wears, you know, like tiny pants. He's got tiny pants.

00:14:07 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

Tiny pants. He's the skinniest one. It's so freaking annoying. Oh, yeah.

00:14:11 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the thing. Your metabolism, your guys' metabolism isn't good because you guys aren't able to eat any of this stuff.

00:14:18 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 5:

I know. Okay, so, Mojo, when you were 30 years old, your metabolism slowed down, right?

00:14:25 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. Yeah.

00:14:26 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 5:

Not his. I think it sped up. So I think he could eat 15 pounds now, and it's annoying as hell.

00:14:33 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 4:

Also, do you hear how angry my dad still is? This happened 15 years ago. I'm still mad.

00:14:41 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 7:

But it was eight pounds of beef.

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Hold on. I got to grab Rachel real quick. Rachel?

00:14:49 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:14:49 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

What did you buy on Amazon?

00:14:51 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

They have a food locker. It's like a plastic crate with a coat, and you can keep it in your fridge. It's small. Oh, my God.

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

It's insane.

00:15:00 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 5:

Megan, we've got to get this for you. It's a food locker to hide food from your family members.

00:15:06 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 2:

What do you put in your food locker? My kids will put their leftovers in there because my fiance will eat it when they're sleeping. It will make it mad.

00:15:15 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 5:

The remaining pizza goes right in there.

00:15:18 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 2:

That's exactly what it is to pizza.

00:15:20 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 6:

Think about it. When it comes to your own food, you can walk into a restaurant, see what's being made, and know exactly what you're getting. But with dog food, most brands keep that completely hidden. Just Food for Dogs does the opposite. They've built their entire brand around open kitchens. You can actually walk in and watch them prepare your dog's meals with real human-grade ingredients like chicken, beef, carrots, and peas cooked right there in front of you. No mystery, no behind-the-scenes you're not allowed to see. That kind of transparency is rare in the pet food world. And it's a big reason they've become the number one vet-recommended fresh dog food, earning trust from pet parents who want to feel confident in what they're feeding. When a brand is willing to show you exactly how your dog's food is made, it says a lot about the care, quality, and standards behind every meal they produce. Nothing to hide. Everything to love. Go to JustFoodForDogs.com and get 50% off your first order.
