so so can i explain what just happened though real quick to the listeners we have been on the air on a station uh another tampa radio station the entire time our show has been been carried on their station while we've been uh doing our show do you think that they will actually take

our show now probably no we're a mess what station like what kind of station is it what

kind of music it's honestly it's uh it's their fm 98 wjlb okay yeah yeah which actually we've been talking that stuff i think this is great stuff who knows which remind it kind of reminds me of in this is a wild thing but thank you to everybody that was in all the nice messages for everybody on the show with uh the celebration of 25 years of mojo in the morning yeah it was so crazy 25 years of uh waking up detroit and then all the great years that we got a chance to wake up grand rapids and toledo then thereafter but um it reminded me with what uh just happened a few moments ago of the time that we wanted to be syndicated and we literally went to the bosses and asked hey is there any way that they would syndicate us because we thought for some reason that that would be a great thing to be on other radio stations until somebody told us you go from having one program director now having 25 program directors can you imagine having that uh asking us to do crap but uh so we decided as a show one day that we were going to just go on the air and pretend like we were syndicated and we asked the listeners that called us up early in the morning to throughout the day on the show call up and say that they were calling from another city So just pick a city that's outside of our listening area and people would call in and be like, Hey, I'm calling from Birmingham, Alabama, and I'm listening to you guys. And now it's funny because 25 years later, we're on the iHeart app and people are listening to us in other cities, which is pretty, pretty cool. So, um, but yeah, I'm not interested in you at all. Am I Kevin? And you say that I just, cause if you guys are just all like, whatever, I'm listening

to you is dope. It was like before the iHeart app. And now we got the answer. Now we got the answer.

Sometimes you'll bring something up and then we comment and you're like, I'm trying to move on. And other times you're like, you're not commenting. I'm not sure where we fall on this particular topic.

I think that you guys don't see me. So that's the other thing too. When I see you, you actually pay more attention to me when you see me across the control board from you. That's true. Because I'm out of sight, out of mind. Last week, Kevin, what was it like working with just the ladies last week?

It'd be annoying sometimes, because they'd be in their little girls' club, and they'd just talk to each other.

I listened to some of the live breaks, and I didn't feel like the girls were just in their own little element, and you had to kind of rail them back a little bit. They don't be noticing it, but it's cool, though.

Or maybe it's the live segments we did where they're dirty, which is what stereotypically Shannon and I comment the most on.

I thought we were all equally participatory.

Kev, I could tell that Kev was a little out of it because I was not into the mix because when Kev is out of the studio, which has happened only a couple of times, and it's just me with you two, I do feel like the two of you guys team up against me, too.

Oh, my God. That is not true at all. You are like one of the girls. All of a sudden, it's the three ladies in the studio. And you love it.

Like, I feel Megan sometimes will turn her back away, you know. Very true. To the corner. Like, she'll kind of, like, get away. And Shannon will look at Megan the whole time and I'll be going, hey, guys, I'm over here. I'm right here.

We sit on camera literally all day. and I sit in my chair. What the hell are you talking about? I feel like you're weirdly like tag teaming up on us right now and I'm not sure why this is happening.

Oh, maybe like you guys did to Kev last week? Not at all.

What are you talking about?

I don't know. Lydia, let's bring you in. I'm biased third party. Did you notice anything?

Kev sat with me because... I was going to say Kev wasn't even here. But I think that's because he wasn't enjoying his time in there. So that's why he was sitting with me. Why didn't he tell us this?

How is this Kev feeling uncomfortable? Kev does not feel uncomfortable. Kev is able to operate and maneuver in whatever climate is available. Y'all like each other. And I love that for you all. And you all have a great relationship. And I love that for you all. Sometimes that relationship is only you all. And I love that. And that's cool.

We could say the same thing with you and other people.

And that's cool. I'm not saying it's a problem.

But right now it feels like Shannon and I are the bad guys.

Our family meeting just changed. All right. Okay. I had an appointment last Friday, and the doctor had informed me that I am 100% cancer-free. Let's go. That is beautiful. Congratulations.

You know what? This is more important than anything that we're doing. So you're telling us that your balls are cancer-free? One. One of them.

Yes. So can I ask a question, because testicular cancer is the real deal. Refresh us on your balls. How did you guys find out that you had testicular cancer?

Me and my wife had nights where we didn't have kids around, so we enjoyed our night, ended the night with baking cookies, and in the process of getting to the point, she had felt something on my testicle and she's a CNA so she told me I need to get it checked and she caught that

can I just say this that is an amazing story and I'm going to play this segment back for my wife to tell her that in moments of love making it would be her that could save my life too if I could get her near my private parts

exactly I will say this. It is a long process of medication. I do not wish it upon anybody.

No, but you'd rather find out that you had ahead of time, right? If you don't find out, it's worse. So, hey, we're happy that you're alive. Thank you, Brett.
