You're a doo-doo hat.

00:02:11 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 7:

Let's go.

00:02:13 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 3:

All right. I may have to take a break. Hold on a second. So you remember that guy that came in here just a couple minutes ago? Chism. DJ Chism?

00:02:25 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

00:02:26 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 3:

um he can't get on the air right now because here come on in here come on in we're gonna i'm gonna do a quick break here or not a break you guys are gonna talk for tonight go ahead you want to switch switch my thing go ahead hold on they're gonna switch they're gonna switch my thing you guys uh shannon talk about what you got coming up in the dirty god okay um we're gonna talk about

00:02:48 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 6:

justin bieber and his reps kind of coming out in in talking about this big rumor that unfortunately everybody thinks he is having a substance abuse issue and then Zach you and I were talking about he was on skates yesterday and looking good and healthy so we'll get into that Kid Rock is single what else are we going to talk about

00:03:13 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 3:

Jessica Simpson's got a new song can you guys hear me back

00:03:18 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 6:

Jessica Simpson's got a new song we have to hear the Jessica Simpson song

00:03:23 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

so so can i explain what just happened though real quick to the listeners we have been on the air on a station uh another tampa radio station the entire time our show has been been carried on their station while we've been uh doing our show do you think that they will actually take

00:03:40 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

our show now probably no we're a mess what station like what kind of station is it what

00:03:45 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

kind of music it's honestly it's uh it's their fm 98 wjlb okay yeah yeah which actually we've been talking that stuff i think this is great stuff who knows which remind it kind of reminds me of in this is a wild thing but thank you to everybody that was in all the nice messages for everybody on the show with uh the celebration of 25 years of mojo in the morning yeah it was so crazy 25 years of uh waking up detroit and then all the great years that we got a chance to wake up grand rapids and toledo then thereafter but um it reminded me with what uh just happened a few moments ago of the time that we wanted to be syndicated and we literally went to the bosses and asked hey is there any way that they would syndicate us because we thought for some reason that that would be a great thing to be on other radio stations until somebody told us you go from having one program director now having 25 program directors can you imagine having that uh asking us to do crap but uh so we decided as a show one day that we were going to just go on the air and pretend like we were syndicated and we asked the listeners that called us up early in the morning to throughout the day on the show call up and say that they were calling from another city So just pick a city that's outside of our listening area and people would call in and be like, Hey, I'm calling from Birmingham, Alabama, and I'm listening to you guys. And now it's funny because 25 years later, we're on the iHeart app and people are listening to us in other cities, which is pretty, pretty cool. So, um, but yeah, I'm not interested in you at all. Am I Kevin? And you say that I just, cause if you guys are just all like, whatever, I'm listening

00:05:25 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 4:

to you is dope. It was like before the iHeart app. And now we got the answer. Now we got the answer.

00:05:30 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes you'll bring something up and then we comment and you're like, I'm trying to move on. And other times you're like, you're not commenting. I'm not sure where we fall on this particular topic.

00:05:39 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

I think that you guys don't see me. So that's the other thing too. When I see you, you actually pay more attention to me when you see me across the control board from you. That's true. Because I'm out of sight, out of mind. Last week, Kevin, what was it like working with just the ladies last week?

00:05:54 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

It'd be annoying sometimes, because they'd be in their little girls' club, and they'd just talk to each other.

00:05:59 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 5:

What are you talking about? You and Zach were in your little boys' club. You didn't hang out. You left.

00:06:04 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 4:

Y'all, he asked me a question. That was my truthful response and answer, and there we go.

00:06:09 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

I listened to some of the live breaks, and I didn't feel like the girls were just in their own little element, and you had to kind of rail them back a little bit. They don't be noticing it, but it's cool, though.

00:06:19 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 6:

Sharon, what is happening? Maybe it's just the truth. Maybe it's my truth.

00:06:24 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 4:

There's nothing wrong with my truth.

00:06:25 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 6:

Or maybe it's the live segments we did where they're dirty, which is what stereotypically Shannon and I comment the most on.

00:06:32 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 3:

No, there were some breaks. I heard you guys do breaks together that were pretty good.

00:06:37 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 5:

I thought we were all equally participatory.

00:06:40 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

Kev, I could tell that Kev was a little out of it because I was not into the mix because when Kev is out of the studio, which has happened only a couple of times, and it's just me with you two, I do feel like the two of you guys team up against me, too.

00:06:57 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That is not true at all. You are like one of the girls. All of a sudden, it's the three ladies in the studio. And you love it.

00:07:04 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 3:

Like, I feel Megan sometimes will turn her back away, you know. Very true. To the corner. Like, she'll kind of, like, get away. And Shannon will look at Megan the whole time and I'll be going, hey, guys, I'm over here. I'm right here.

00:07:16 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 6:

We sit on camera literally all day. and I sit in my chair. What the hell are you talking about? I feel like you're weirdly like tag teaming up on us right now and I'm not sure why this is happening.

00:07:29 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, maybe like you guys did to Kev last week? Not at all.

00:07:32 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

What are you talking about?

00:07:34 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Lydia, let's bring you in. I'm biased third party. Did you notice anything?

00:07:38 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Kev sat with me because... I was going to say Kev wasn't even here. But I think that's because he wasn't enjoying his time in there. So that's why he was sitting with me. Why didn't he tell us this?

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

Because I don't care.

00:07:48 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 6:

It sounds like it matters if it's being brought up now.

00:07:51 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Did I bring it up?

00:07:52 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 6:

It was brought up like it was discussed.

00:07:54 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

We're having a family meeting here right now. This is a family. All of us are sitting on the couch. Hold on a second. Zach, you can get on the couch too with us. Zach, what are your thoughts on this one, Zach? What would you like to say? You know, I was just doing my job.

00:08:09 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Kev, what made you uncomfortable? Was it going through Megan's Hinge profile?

00:08:14 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 4:

How is this Kev feeling uncomfortable? Kev does not feel uncomfortable. Kev is able to operate and maneuver in whatever climate is available. Y'all like each other. And I love that for you all. And you all have a great relationship. And I love that for you all. Sometimes that relationship is only you all. And I love that. And that's cool.

00:08:36 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 6:

We could say the same thing with you and other people.

00:08:39 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

And that's cool. I'm not saying it's a problem.

00:08:41 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 6:

But right now it feels like Shannon and I are the bad guys.

00:08:45 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 5:

Is that how you feel, Shannon? You feel like a bad guy? Yes, I feel like you are ganging up on us. Yeah.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

I feel like, honestly.

00:08:51 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 4:

I was just going to ask the question and I answered it.

00:08:53 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

I think that, but here's the thing, though. If you guys are going to mean girl Kevin, I don't, I just want you guys to know that as the dad girls, I would like you to notice your brother Kevin is a nice guy and sometimes it's nice for you to include him in comedy.

00:09:14 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 5:

Let me tell you something. this is how it feels every dang day when you all start talking sports and i'm like hello okay remember me i said to your right i've been with you for 16 years but we only do that but i am

00:09:26 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

invisible but that is not true we only do that briefly like when the lions had a good season like we did that during the lions so all right uh sarah what's going on sarah it's mojo in the morning welcome to the family meeting that we're having here right now family therapy um so i

00:09:43 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 1:

listened all week last week and i don't agree with kevin at all i thought everything went very smoothly um i actually didn't even realize that mojo was out until he posted yesterday that he was coming back um and honestly i kind of thought Kevin was a little too much at the time.

00:10:02 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Kevin.

00:10:04 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

That's a fair assessment.

00:10:06 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 5:

This is Aunt Sarah.

00:10:07 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm running to the family meeting right now.

00:10:11 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 5:

Sarah, but we have to understand, as a father of this family, that we have to recognize people's feelings. We have to validate people's feelings.

00:10:20 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't.

00:10:20 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

And if we don't validate, what ends up happening is it gets carried over and people get animosity, and then when they go away to college, they never want to come back home. So I just want to make sure that everything's okay. All right. Brett, what's up, Brett? Welcome to our family meeting that we're having here right now. What's going on?

00:10:38 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm actually a caller. I called back a few months ago when we were talking about baking cookies that I had informed you guys my wife had found out I had testicular cancer. Oh, yeah. Come Friday.

00:10:51 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

Hold on.

00:10:51 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 3:

Our family meeting just changed. All right. Okay. I had an appointment last Friday, and the doctor had informed me that I am 100% cancer-free. Let's go. That is beautiful. Congratulations.

00:11:04 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 5:

You know what? This is more important than anything that we're doing. So you're telling us that your balls are cancer-free? One. One of them.

00:11:16 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

That's all right. That's all right, man. That's right. That's a good ball you got there.

00:11:22 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 5:

Yes. So can I ask a question, because testicular cancer is the real deal. Refresh us on your balls. How did you guys find out that you had testicular cancer?

00:11:35 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 3:

Me and my wife had nights where we didn't have kids around, so we enjoyed our night, ended the night with baking cookies, and in the process of getting to the point, she had felt something on my testicle and she's a CNA so she told me I need to get it checked and she caught that

00:11:56 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 5:

can I just say this that is an amazing story and I'm going to play this segment back for my wife to tell her that in moments of love making it would be her that could save my life too if I could get her near my private parts

00:12:14 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 3:

exactly I will say this. It is a long process of medication. I do not wish it upon anybody.

00:12:22 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

No, but you'd rather find out that you had ahead of time, right? If you don't find out, it's worse. So, hey, we're happy that you're alive. Thank you, Brett.

00:12:31 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 4:

Very good news. And Brett, thank you, man. I think, honestly, any wife or girlfriend out there, or if you got a smash buddy, just go fill his balls today. You never know. You can save a life. Right? I think that's what we take away from this, guys.

00:12:44 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 5:

Back to the family meeting. Hold on. Amanda, what did you want to say? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

00:12:51 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Ted was not attacking anybody. He was just in his feelings answering a question, and he's allowed to have feelings. He's allowed to feel a way, just a way. He just answered a question. He wasn't mad at him. And you know what? And you know what? I agree with you, and we are allowed to feel a way as well.

00:13:07 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but Shannon, by saying that, though, that discounts his way, so let him at least have his way.

00:13:11 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 3:

We have gone through way too much therapy on this show.

00:13:14 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to say it is. We've got to have ways. As long as a direct deposit here, I don't give a damn. Who feel the way?

00:13:23 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 5:

Nicholas, one last call on this, and then I've got to move on. We've got Second Date Update and a whole bunch of other stuff. What's going on?

00:13:29 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they do team up on you, Mojo. Just the other day, they were teaming up on you for not paying attention to the words that come out of your mouth sometimes.

00:13:37 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I will say this to you. When you work with this radio show, everybody teams up on everybody, and that's the reason why this radio show works. We all find somebody that we can team up on at one point.

00:13:49 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't feel like it's teaming up on. That's a positive work environment, though.

00:13:52 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 5:

I do. I think we have fun. We have fun with each other. And remember, it's not like we're ganging up on you. We're just having fun with you. And again, get your privates checked out, okay?

00:14:04 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 7:
