mojo on the morning show i was having a conversation with mike yesterday on the phone and we're talking and i said to him i go can you hang on for one second i gotta bring food up to my neighbor's house my neighbor britney was uh dog sitting for me yesterday while i was at work you know making sure that my dogs didn't like poop all over my house so she took them out so as a favor i went and picked up some chicken salad from lulu's for her and i walk up to the door and when i walk up to the the door i ring the doorbell and mike you were listening the whole time i go oh my god yeah she has a sign on her door that i don't know did you guys have this with milo and cecily the sign says please don't ring the doorbell baby

sleeping no we don't but we have a if you wake it you take it like if you wake the baby it's yours you get to hold the baby you get whatever needs to be done change the diaper

and i was all i woke up and i woke up uh her her daughter which was awful i didn't even see it i didn't yeah i wasn't i'm talking to mike i'm doing like i'm just it's a horrible thing but uh i felt like such a jerk uh doing that because i remember when joey was a little baby we had a neighbor that would go outside always at the exact time that joe would go down for his afternoon lap and nap and he would use every electronic or or power tool that he needed oh geez all of a sudden it's like one day he's using you know his lawnmower the next day the guy's got his chainsaw literally outside at that moment like trimming his bushes and trees and then he's got his weed whackers and he's got all the rest of that stuff but it would always happen so I felt like it's

such a jerk Mike yeah I used to have a door like a doormat did you or whatever that said I dare you to ring the doorbell and wake up my sleeping child and like it was for a joke but also like

I was serious what were you gonna ask me uh did you say anything to the neighbors like can you

say anything to the neighbors when they do that when they're like uh being loud with your kids yeah i don't you know what you probably could i mean i see our neighbors now were different than our neighbors back when the kids were younger like our neighbors now are really you know conscientious about trying not to you know to interrupt others i lived in a neighborhood with joe that the homes were they were it was practically apartments you know we were right on top of each other.

and everybody well it was also a military too we also had like some military stuff going on because we were right by we were in tucson by davis moth and air force base so we had you had everything you had one neighbor on one side of you that was the power guy the power tool guy and then you had the neighbors on the other side that threw parties in the middle of the night like when they were coming back from being deployed they had the most amazing parties the problem was And your children were up all because of it. I'd rather have the power tools at that point. How are your neighbors going to be with the new baby, Mike? Will they be relatively quiet?

They have a dog that barks at everybody that walks by. That's my only concern. And it's usually, it was by Milo, or usually it's by Milo's words. So when we first moved in, it was rough because Milo would, no pun intended, But it was rough because Milo would literally be napping, and you'd hear that dog just barking and barking and barking and barking and barking and barking. And did you ever say anything? I walked up the driveway one day, and it ran out because it literally barks at us still. Yeah. It barks at every single neighbor. And it ran up to me one day, and he was just standing there as it's barking. He doesn't do anything. I think that's the worst part is he sees what's happening. He sees the bad behavior, and he just stands there and watches it. And so I said, can you stop this? And he goes, he goes, what, stop the barking? And I said, yes. And then he brought the dog in and we haven't, we haven't talked since. Which is probably a good thing. Yeah, I don't care.

I was just, I just brought this up and hold on. Brittany actually just sent me a text message because she's listening right now. And I feel horrible doing this. She was doing me a favor. Brett? It's so funny because we'll sit there and we'll be like, what are we going to watch? We'll watch like one of the kid shows and then she'll go, Chris Brown. Yeah. so my buddy stopped by yesterday he sent me a picture of a case of obron and he goes i want to stop by i want to say i have let's have an obron i said all right sure whatever what i didn't know is he was bringing a girl he's dating with her and he does this thing that i just started to pick up on where he brings girls over that he's dating to be around the kids to see how they act because So I have it.

a daughter who's eight years old and a son who is three years old and so what he'll do is he'll just come hang out and then see how they act around them and if they're it's like a dog it's

like a dog honestly yeah like a good test of character wait yes so wait hold on a second so they come over to your house and if the girls act a certain way like what is he trying to see

if they're good with kids yeah yeah and if they well and how the kids kind of react to them too Like, my kids will talk anybody's ear off, except, well, my daughter will. My son will just kind of just sit there and kind of eye you, look you up and down for a little bit.

You just give dirty looks, man.

so with the friend of yours that does this with the hot girls that come over to the house have he's has he ever found that some of these girls are not good with the kids so this happened

uh yesterday and it's some of them are are it's just whatever and he kind of i think it just kind of fizzles out but yesterday's was the weirdest in the entire world and there should be i think there is i don't know if anybody's actually made one but i think there's a scale for guys and girls of, like, hot and crazy, or there should be one for hot and weird. Like, there's a level that you fall into, and maybe you're funny, and that kind of outweighs certain other things. Or maybe you had a really, really good personality or a big heart. But this girl, you guys, and we tried, was the most awkward human being in the entire universe. Like how? Like, she would say things, like, she would start talking, and she'd say things, and she would just laugh at it. Like, just laugh. And we'd go, we'd just kind of look, And, like, there was no punchline. There was no – just whatever she said was the funniest thing in the entire world. And I'm like, you know what? We're all awkward. We're all weird, in fact.

She was nervous, maybe.

And that could be it. But then she – it was almost like – it was almost like my kids were annoying to her at that point. And my daughter – Uh-uh. Yeah, and my daughter was, like, trying to talk to her or whatever. And then so she got, like, snippy with the kids. And I'm like, okay, okay. You know, Cecily, back off because my daughter can be overwhelming. I get it. I'm her dad. I get it 110%. no if they don't

like Cecily and like Cecily's personality they deserve to go

she's just but she was awkward and it was like it's hard to explain but she thought everything was funny and then my daughter has zero filter right now she's at a point where she just says whatever so she is very much like Megan where she just she says whatever pops into her head and she goes what is so funny why do you keep laughing

And for the rest of the day, that girl was very, very quiet. And she was, like, snippy with everybody. Like, she was too cool to be around us. It was just weird, man. I don't know.

You are saving your buddy from a potential bad person to be in a relationship with. Because if they don't like kids, and no offense to anybody that doesn't like kids, but if this guy likes kids and he wants to be with somebody that likes kids.

Also, if you're meeting somebody for the first time and you're acting that way, when you want to make a really great first impression and you just don't give two Fs, that says so much about you.

Oh, yeah. Right? Yeah. Yeah. You're right. 100% right. And so we tried to just be nice. We were nice and very courteous and civil about everything, but he asked me what we thought, and I still haven't responded to him yet.
