00:02:14 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't believe you.

00:02:16 - 00:02:20 | Speaker 2:

It's, Megan, something I think perfect for you. Okay. Okay?

00:02:21 - 00:02:24 | Speaker 5:

All right, now I feel like this is going to be insulting, so I'm looking for it. No, no.

00:02:25 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 2:

It's called the imposter boyfriend, okay? Do you have an attractive friend of the opposite sex? Do you have a guy that you find to be, like, relatively attractive? Doesn't make a difference if they're single or if they're married. You can say me. That's okay.

00:02:46 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 5:

You were top of mind. I'm not going to lie. You were absolutely first.

00:02:50 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 2:

All right. Oh, yeah. The imposter boyfriend is this. And it's also good for girlfriends, too, and it works for anything, even same-sex relationships. Take them out on a few dates. So talk to whoever they're maybe in a relationship with or maybe they are somebody that's not in a relationship but you're in a purely platonic with them. Go out on a few dates with them and go to consistent places where you know a lot of people hang out that might be single and people that you are interested in. This weekend, I met a really, really cute couple. And when I asked them a question of how they met, they told me this. They actually did the, and it was interesting because the girl took one of her guy friends who was like a really pretty guy. Like guys can be good looking and then guys can be pretty. Yeah. And pretty guys are the guys you got to use for this whole thing.

00:03:45 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

00:03:46 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Took a really pretty guy friend of hers that actually was in a relationship and they would go out to the same place all the time and when they would go to this place it was actually that place in Birmingham market and they would go sit at the bar and they would hang out with each other and they would go and drink and eat and stuff like that and laugh with each other like they were boyfriend and girlfriend and occasionally they would talk to other people that were around the bar and by the second or third time that they had been there and they draw or drew the interest of other people that were there they finally admitted that they were just friends and they were in a platonic relationship with each other as a friend. Can I ask a question

00:04:24 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 5:

though? Yes. What guy who is dating somebody is allowed to go hang out? That's my question too. That's my question too.

00:04:31 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

The reason why they were doing that is because this guy had been part of their lives for a long time. His girlfriend was friends with her too. The girlfriend or the wife, I think he was married, was a nurse worked at Beaumont always worked nights guy was home kind of hanging out by himself long story short what ended up happening was the couple that I

00:05:00 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 3:

that really good looking couple he would come to the bar see her and see him and guys are attracted to girls that are with somebody girls look it's like girls with sunglasses or girls that wear detroit tigers hats you're like three numbers higher hot scale wise if you are with a dude

00:05:23 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I think this is risky on so many levels, though, because, well, one being if a guy walks in and sees like a really hot girl, like in this case, your friend or whomever that you were talking to, but she's with somebody, he's probably going to be hands off and go do his own thing. So it has to be like the perfect storm of them Bumping into each other at some point in the night And actually getting to talk Where through conversation He realizes that she's not actually with that person Do you know what I mean? Like I have a single friend, right? My friend Carrie And like if I'm out with her Like people will come up and talk to her Because they see that she's not with somebody So she's more approachable She's not with a guy Do you know what I mean? Like a girl who's with a guy no guy is gonna walk up and just start talking yeah to that girl so it's hit or miss do you know what I'm saying like if he steers clear if the guy who is interested in the girl steers clear the whole night because he's like wait a second she's with her boyfriend or her husband whatever I'm not gonna be able to talk to her

00:06:23 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

so Shannon in this case here the way that it worked was they would go to the same place same days same time type of people were there I've gone there before for lunch you know before I've gone there for you know dinner I've never gone there and just hung out but I guess the same day of the week it was like Thursday nights they would go to the place same people that were there and by week number three they finally admitted that they weren't dating each other and that's what happened and they would talk to everybody at the bar you kind of drew you know draw friendships with each other yeah and some people actually that go there might even know who i'm talking about uh about this the the couple that met sitting right at the bar and it was the imposter uh girlfriend but i think this is actually something that would work good and megan if you want to try it i'm free this week I know I'm not because we've got the concerts, but KP, would you ever do this? Would you ever think about this?

00:07:11 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 6:

I have a couple good guy friends that I go out with, but honestly, I feel like they're more of a repellent for anyone who'd want to be with me because it looks like we're dating and I feel like guys don't want that.

00:07:21 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

But isn't that, wait, no, that's the point, isn't it? To make them think that you're dating and then by finally a couple of dates in, you tell them that you're not dating.

00:07:29 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 6:

I feel, I don't know. I just feel like they think they have no shot because you're already with somebody.

00:07:34 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

What happens if they start, and this is the only part that I thought is a downfall, because when I was talking about pretty people, what happens if the person is so pretty that you take out that the person that you're trying to get in a relationship with wants that person?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

That's a problem.

00:07:48 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

You know? Sarah, what's up?

00:07:52 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, have you seen Megan's brother, Sean? Yes. He is very hot, and Megan hangs out with him all the time. So if this hasn't worked for Megan yet, I don't think it works for anyone. Oh, great point.

00:08:03 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

But they look like brother and sister, though.

00:08:05 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 5:

Do you think so? Yeah. Well, actually, yeah, that's true. You guys do look so much alike. I think we look alike, but people tell us all the time that we don't look alike. Oh, you guys don't look alike. I thought it was Megan's boyfriend. Did you really?

00:08:16 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:17 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 5:

I'm just glad somebody thought that I had a boyfriend.

00:08:22 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

But Megan, it was your brother.

00:08:24 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, red flag. To be fair to Mojo's point, though, about all this, I don't get hit on more than when I am in a relationship. Not necessarily that I have to be with that person, but what is it about that? Like, when you're single, it seems like the Sahara Desert out there. And then as soon as you start dating somebody, all these people are like, well, let's go on a date. Let's go out.

00:08:48 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

It's so weird. Do you think it's a level of confidence that comes back or a level of not even caring? So you're not going for a purpose. You're just going out and doing things.

00:08:57 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I don't care anyways. And men gives me confidence

00:09:02 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

Mike I agree I think it's a confidence scale But I also think it's kind of like When you see people eating something That looks really good And you're like I gotta have it And then you end up having to Want to order that

00:09:13 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 6:

Wait yes There is truth to that Because I dated someone in high school And then when we broke up after college Someone else that I went to high school with Reached out to me and said I always loved the way you and your ex Like I saw you in like the halls And like out in the town You guys look so cute and, like, you're having fun. I've always wanted that. And then he was telling me that he wanted to, like, take me out. So maybe you are true. You're right, Mojo. Maybe they do, like, see, oh, I want that. The imposter. That cheeseburger looks really good with honey mustard.

00:09:42 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

Any food analogies work with any kind of dating situation, too.

00:09:45 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 6:

Can I be a pretzel bun?

00:09:47 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Sure. I love them. I love a pretzel bun. But you've got to put a fried egg on it, right? You put a fried egg on it?

00:09:52 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 6:

No avocado for Shannon. Yep, that's right.

00:09:54 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Brad?

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:09:57 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Nothing much.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

So.

00:10:00 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 2:

I think this whole thing's a huge red flag because, in my opinion, if I was interested in a girl and I had seen her for weeks on end, hanging out with the same guy and flirty and acting like they're in a relationship, and then she told me that they were just friends, I would think that that was going to be an issue in the future.

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a good point. Yeah.

00:10:29 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 5:

No, that's, yeah, that's true. There could be, well, especially if there's jealousy, and there always is, right?

00:10:37 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. And, I mean, everybody, well, not, I can't say everybody, but if you think about it, there's a lot of people out there that are just friends, and then they end up breaking up with their significant other and end up with that person, or they end up fooling around on their significant other with that person. I mean, it happens a lot.

00:10:58 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. What's up, Brian? How you doing?

00:11:02 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you?

00:11:03 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

Good. What did you want to say?

00:11:05 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to say, just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score. Oh, you are true. Hey, now.

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 5:

There you go.

00:11:11 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 2:

We are the hockey town.

00:11:15 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Do you use that theory, and has it ever worked? I don't think so. What's happening, Andrew?

00:11:24 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, there. So, guys definitely try to pick up girls with other guys because me and my wife, right after the very next day after we got married, we were on our honeymoon down in Florida. We're sitting at the bar getting something to eat, and I get up to go to the bathroom, and I come back, and some guy is trying to talk to my wife. And just of that whole thing of, you know, guys definitely find that it's more attractive, I think, to try to get a girl that's with a guy. She's like, I'm here with my husband on our honeymoon.

00:11:53 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Isn't it wild? the balls it's somebody told me that if you go to one of these places you know like what what's that company that does the the vacations like it's uh like a sandals yeah that somebody told me that if you're a single guy or a single girl go to sandals and pick up the just got married just got into a fight went down to the bar person and they say that if you just want to have like a quick like let's have sex you know type situation that you go to one of those places that always has people there or Tulum or whatever these places are where people go as couples people get in fights on these vacations all the time for doing something stupid like at the pool that day or whatever hang out at the bar and that night there will be somebody that will come down there that just is like you know what let's go I don't suggest it though

00:12:47 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 6:

especially if it's Definitely not.

00:12:50 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 5:

Especially if it's somebody that I know. I don't want you guys doing that and getting yourself heartbroken here. KP, the one thing I did notice about the guy friends that you hang out with, because I have noticed on your social media on the weekends, you do hang out with these guys. These guys that you hang out with are like crazy good looking. And I'm like, wait a second. Why are you not fooling around with any of these guys? Why are you not dating any of these guys?

00:13:16 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Because I like having platonic guy friends to go out with because then they will carry you if you drink too much.

00:13:25 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

You know, your friends are all good looking.

00:13:28 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 6:

Guys and girls, they are. You have a great group of friends.

00:13:30 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I appreciate that. But, you know, given any chance, each one of those guys would definitely hook up with you, right? I don't like to think about it. Have you ever? No. Have you ever made out? I maybe allowed one to give me a smooch, but that was a one-time thing. Did it almost go to that point? No. And you had to stop it? No.

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 5:

Wait, the guy just made out with you and then stopped right there and didn't want more?

00:13:50 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I feel like girls have a say on how things go, and I didn't let it get any farther than that. Plus, I don't even want to think about it. That was a birthday thing.

00:14:01 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 5:

But I do agree with Mike, and I think that, Kev, you probably would agree with this too. Don't most guys, when they're out with girls, if they're platonic friends, don't they want to make it non-platonic? Oh, yeah, for sure. I think that they're definitely looking for more. Some relationships have gone that far, especially if there's alcohol involved. Yeah, well, that's it. I think it's about my best guy friends, and that makes me want to throw them out. No, but they would.

00:14:23 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 1:

I love that, but not like that.

00:14:25 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

Listen, you get enough alcohol in me, Mike, you are the cutest guy in the room. I want you to know that. That's actually right now. Megan, I've got the theory that's better than the imposter boyfriend. Nicole, what should all single ladies do to get hit on in a bar?

00:14:41 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't know if it's necessarily in a bar, but when I was pregnant, I got hit on all the time. It was the weirdest thing. Even walking through the store. Do you want me to get pregnant? Yes. Absolutely not.

00:14:56 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

I didn't see the correlation here.

00:14:57 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 5:

You know what it is? I think maybe we're all... attracted to those hormones maybe that's what it is maybe you can't get them pregnant twice so

00:15:05 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 2:

that to me just screams all of the bad parts about men is like oh i want to hook up with somebody because she's already taken and then that's like like winning for me like i did it and then pregnant women is like oh i can have all this sex and not have to worry about parenting a kid this doesn't

00:15:22 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 5:

make men look good hey pregnant sex is the best sex you're experiencing that right now did you That's the whole point I was trying to make. Sorry. Sorry, Megan. Hello, it is Ryan, and I was on a flight the other day playing one of my favorite social spin slot games on Chumbacasino.com.
