All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Did you ever have this happen to you where your kids all of a sudden start hearing something that happened at school, and next thing you know, blows up into like a big rumor mill thing. What happened? Oh my God. So my daughter Lucy's in

fifth grade. She does not have a phone, but she does have an Apple watch that she is, she wears to school. Um, and so every once in a while, like I'll get a random text from her throughout the day. Usually it's like, mom, math is so boring or something like that. But, um, the other day I got a text from her and it, she was in a panic that one of the kids in her grade and one of my closest friend's sons by the way was paralyzed specifically his legs were paralyzed and i'm like lucy grace that like and she's like every everybody's talking about it and so and so told me and there's a there's a picture and i'm like that does not sound right to me i just talked to his mom earlier this morning and she would have absolutely said you know something had happened and she is like doubling down on this no she's at recess texting me so of course it's like gone around the playground and gotten back and i like the more and more she's telling me i'm she's like this person said something and this person heard from him this person and then there's this photo and i'm thinking oh my god so now my heart is like i'm scared for my my friend's son and so i reached out to her and i was like hey lucy just texted me from school she's freaking out about this like i don't want to say his name but like is he okay they said that he can't walk anymore And I'm like, they're like, was there an accident? And she was like, no, not at all. Like he he had like some something going on with like fluid in his legs. And she's like, he's getting an IV. He's going to be fine. We're all good. And I'm like, let me tell you something. This went around the fifth grade and got back to me. And it has it was like the game of telephone. Right. It blew so out of proportion. And then I'm like having a heart attack about it to the point where I reach out to her. But I'm like, this little kid rumor mill got me the other day.

Isn't it funny how that will happen? And the kids just keep going and going and going. And they just sit there and tell the story.

To the point where they make you believe it.

something uh years ago that was not in my kids thing but it was somebody else that was from the show or whatever that said something about it it was like a teacher situation and i think there was a little bit of truth to it like a teacher got fired for something and every kid would you know there was one there was one story and it turned out that the teacher was going on maternity leave or whatever or taking like a leave yeah it wasn't it had nothing to do with it but there there was some kind of an issue where it's like oh god and here come all the rumors

hey mojo how you guys doing we're good man um yeah so i was just calling about rumors um so basically i'm substituting um about to graduate to get my uh degree in education in june and we also are expecting in june oh my gosh congratulations bro thank you it's gonna be their first daughter, but a rumor is going around, so my wife teaches at a kindergarten, and one day when I was there, a rumor started that her name was going to be Maple, with a P, but her name is going to be Mabel, so the principal was asking, and then a dad at the drop-off line stopped me, and he's like, started this debate with my daughters, they're saying her name's Maple, and I said it's probably Mabel, so it's just like this huge rumor going around.
