Mojo in the morning. Sorry, I had to put my headphones in. I was watching coverage of the submarine with all those people in it that were going to see the Titanic. It's less than, they say, an hour of air left in that thing. I've been, like, obsessed with this. Are you guys watching it as much? Everybody is.

I'm obsessed, too. I can't get away from it. Like, even my TikTok started playing Titanic clips from the movie. Like my TikTok is like Titanic all day.

We'll get into that to kick off the show here in a second. Let me just tease what we have on today's program coming up today on the show. War of the Roses. And after Father's Day, she's suspecting that her guy is cheating with one of the other women that he has children with. He has children with three other women. And she's got one in particular that she's worried about because he's spending extra time. Is he spending time with her because of the kids? Or is he spending time with her because there's other stuff going on? War of the Roses coming up. Also, the concert tickets, too, for Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Post Malone on the way. 50 Cent tickets and Lollapalooza tickets all this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Okay, so this story has, like, just taken over. The story about the missing sub, it's a sub that was missing since this past weekend, and then we found out...

I found out with some news stories that the people that run this sub, which costs like $250,000 a passenger to go on, that will tour the wreckage of the Titanic, that they didn't contact authorities for close to 10 hours. nobody contacted anybody and then they're saying that uh on top of that that like the bureaucracy uh of things made the you know uh u.s coast guard and the canadian coast guard not even go look for the thing then for like another 10 hours so it was almost a day of these people being completely missing until somebody actually started looking for them and they're saying that at 709 eastern time so less than an hour from now they will have run out of air and that means that even if they do find this sub the thoughts of these guys even surviving is near impossible because if they find

it they have to pull it up from the ocean floor or wherever it is which we don't have the capability

to do yeah they said it's too heavy or it'll be it'll be too heavy it's too deep like they're

thinking that it's just sitting on the bottom of the ocean floor, and it is too deep for any vessel that we have to even go get it. So even if they found it, there's not much they could do.

Yeah, and one of the vessels we already sent down imploded, so like we've sent stuff down.

We have? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know

that. But they said even what they've sent down couldn't go that far. It imploded. It blew up. So it's like it's just such a tragic story. I mean, even if they found it in these banging noises, which I'll get to because they had a sonar expert talk about what those banging noises probably were, and it probably had nothing to do with this sub, but they were like, you know, okay, even if that led us to be able to locate it, well, then it presents an entirely new issue of how to get it.

The other craziest part of this whole thing is the stories that have been coming out about one of the passenger's stepsons who, while his stepfather was completely, you know, missing and everybody's wondering where this man is, he could be drowning to death. The stepson went to the Blink-182 concert and was seen in pictures. Bought tickets? What is he going to do? He can't go in the ocean. Well, that was kind of his rationale. His rationale was that Blink-182 got him through a whole bunch of things. And he wasn't able to, you know, do anything at that moment. So he figured, oh, I'll see if this will get me through it. Is it fair?

If my dad was down there and I had tickets to a Harry Styles concert?

You would go?

You would not. No, you wouldn't. You would be so wrecked. No way.

You could be wrecked at a concert. You can't go in the ocean and get them. What are you going to do? I was thinking about that when I saw this story. I thought to myself, I wonder who on the show, if I shall die, wouldn't show up at my funeral because they went to something else. And what was it that they would go to? I would love to know that.

We're talking about billionaires here, right? Like all these people have a lot of money. Aren't you vibing for, well, I guess it doesn't really matter because it's not like you can change the will. But like, wouldn't you be on your best behavior saying I deserve the inheritance?

Yeah, well, here's the deal. What happens if they are able to pull these guys up from the wreckage or from the sub, and this guy lives, and then he finds out later that the stepson went to Blink-182? He's going to be very upset.

Kicked out of the well.

The other story that was great with this guy was the fact that they looked at some of his posts that he was making during this whole thing, and they found out that while he was posting please keep my family in your prayers he was also showing off some only fans model girl and and making comments about her that's classic step uh stepson behavior yeah i was gonna say

it's also stepdad of an adult they might not get along at all like this might not be a big deal

for him yeah well that is kind of uh true yeah there's a lot of times where step sons or step kids don't like their their step parent although if they're rich show the love so that at least maybe you get a little bit of something in the will but don't typically rich date rich i'm sure

mom was well off too you think yeah we celebrate the stories of like the the regular person that

gets with the prince because it's rare yeah i actually saw something disgusting yesterday on tv i saw some people and then even politicians that were like talking about why are we wasting all this money looking for the these wealthy people they knew that it was a risk why are we doing it and I thought to myself if that's the attitude that is taken for anything then the attitude could also be why are we

Why are we helping out these poor people? Who cares about these? You know what I mean? You might get the opposite of that.

You don't think that's the attitude people have?

See, I don't have that attitude. I have this attitude that it's a horrible situation. I don't think about what it costs because, for God's sakes, we spend enough money doing stupid stuff in general, but how do you not want to try to help somebody or save somebody?

I agree, but I think once you get into working with non-profits and stuff, you realize how much people don't care. and it's very frustrating so i do i think this attitude is pretty prevalent yeah well i'm gonna

say this 250 000 to go under the sea you know and do all that okay but did you see the breakdown

of the girls talking about what a billionaire's like percentage of their wealth this trip was and it was the equivalent to three subway sandwiches oh really yes you have really been deep diving on tiktok haven't you right so somebody broke down like what if you made $80,000 a year, which was like a generous, a very generous yearly salary, and broke down what one Subway sandwich would cost you. And it was like 0.000075% of your yearly income. And then you multiply that by their net worth, which was a billion dollars, and it came out to 3.33 Subway sandwiches. So this is literally pocket change to these people.

So for those people that don't think we should save them, if a man was choking on three Subway sandwiches, would you not give them the Heimlich maneuver?

But you know, isn't that crazy? When you put that into perspective, this trip was three Subway sandwiches to people. Not even the drink, chips, and cookies. It's crazy. Just the sandwich.

All right, so the latest I was trying to see, you know, they're covering politics and stuff right now on all the big news stations. So they don't have any, they must not have anything on this. Honestly, I can't believe that they don't have, I know they have correspondents that are off the coast and stuff. the tv network that actually goes and gets a uh a vessel to go out on is going to be the winning tv network for me because that's all pretty much you know we care about right now this is it this is what uh this is what we want to know we want to know exactly what's going on well especially in

the next hour yeah right i mean this is the countdown is on yeah i mean who's it that used

to do this all the time was it david blaine or which one of those guys was the one that can he Get out of this thing Like they were always

He's piloting, well, was piloting So his wife is a descendant Of this very wealthy New York couple Who drowned on the Titanic When it went down And actually if you watched the movie She's a descendant of Do you remember the grandma and grandpa That were laying in the bed Embracing as the ship went down Yes Wow
